I came in looking for an apartment at the leasing office immediately blew me away! The modern fresh vibes got me excited to see more. Nicki gave me an amazing tour. Their heated pool and relaxation areas are exactly what I am looking for. The 1 bed apartment I saw was spacious and beautifully designed. Nicki was so friendly, knowledgeable, and greeted people she saw by name. I am very impressed with The District and I cant wait to move in!

Really been enjoying my time here. Haven’t had any issues whatsoever. I’d recommend this place for sure. If you’re looking for someplace that’s well cared for with friendly staff, this might be a good option.

This has hands down been the best decision Ive made recently on deciding where to live. Beautiful building, incredible location, you can even have dogs(woof) The girls down in the office have made being here SO Enjoyable. want someone to talk to? whats up, need assistance? no problem. Have questions? ill find an appropriate answer in a timely manner. Im sure youve heard stories of poor management at other places. Thats just non-existent here. 15/10 You will thank yourself later for living here.

My wife and I have lived at The District at Rosemary for three years. We chose the facility because of the floor plans, amenities and location. We have been very please with our choice and continue to enjoy the great support of the competent team that runs the facility. The staff is very quick to respond to needs in our apartment and is always receptive to concerns pointed out in the common areas of the building. We would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for wonderful place to live in the heart of Sarasota.

I have lived here for 4 years and lived in 4 different apartments here! Nikki has always been so helpful and accommodating in my moves! The whole team is amazing! I love living here! Jason is also very helpful with any work order put in and is always smiling around the community! The District at Rosemary is a great place to live!

Stayed here for a year, community is good. Very over priced for the quality, but that’s Sarasota in general. Ton of hidden charges. Security deposit very mishandled by the leasing office which I wasn’t happy about. Overall- I don’t recommend

The District at Rosemary is located within walking distance of main street in downtown Sarasota. My apartment was perfect for me. Nickole and Chris made checking-in and checking-out very easy. My neighbors were great, and I loved the amenities…pool, workout rooms, lounge area. Publix is super close as well as Whole Foods. Also, Gillespie Park is within walking distance.

Great place to live!! Great location!! Great property!!We felt led to move to Sarasota, never having lived here and we came to town for two days to try to find something. We found nothing suitable but we managed to get a tour here on our way out of town and fell in love immediately. Jovann guided us through every step of the process with a high level of professionalism and attentiveness making this process far less stressful. The entire staff here is great and very friendly!! Nikki has been great too!! The property is beautiful and taken care of very well and the maintenance staff is on top of things. I have reported a couple of issues and they have been taken care of immediately. Jason and Wess have been extremely friendly and helpful!! The dog park is fantastic and all of the residents I have met seem to be very nice. This place is a short walk to everything!! Dozens of shops and restaurants, the water and the marina!

Great Neighborhood, good team, we had some misunderstandings but, it was fixed quickly. Co clean! Super clean! Cleaning person do her job everyday. Super Dog friendly. Highly recommended!Close to the beach, 3 min walk to restaurants and Whole Foods.

Fantastic place to live. Conveniently located to both shopping and social locations. Nickole was very personable and professional throughout the entire process. Any time theres a question or concern, Nickole either helps herself or sends in the right direction to solve the problem as quickly as possible. The only problem with this community is if you get on the waiting list but the neighborhood is worth the wait.

I can’t say enough positive things about this place, by far one of the nicest apartments that I have lived in, the place is spacious and clean, Nicki the lady in the office is super friendly and any concern that I have had she has taken care of and has always been super helpful. If you’re looking for a great place to live you should definitely check this place out.

I came in to view an apartment as I was looking to move closer to the downtown area. I met with Erin who was very pleasant and knowledgeable and readily had answers to all my questions! It was nice to feel at home from the get-go and she definitely created that warmth. I loved the property. Everything was clean and updated. We have been at the Rosemary about one month now. I reached out to the wonderful Jovann Gorman about a few maintenance issues . One day later- Wes Deason (lead maintenance tech) knocked on our door to address them. First issue with the dishwasher was immediately addressed when Wes ran a cycle; 2nd issue with the dryer only required him to move the dryer forward to allow the air circulation to flow freely; and the 3rd issue with the hot water was really not an issue, just a new resident unfamiliar with the kitchen! Our positive experiences with the quality staffing with people like Wes Deason, Jovann Gorman, and Nicky Hoitt, shows that moving to the District at Rosemary was the right choice for us. We moved into the District about a month ago and are loving it so far! Erin was extremely helpful during the leasing process and a pleasure to work with. The maintenance team was also very accommodating in making sure everything was up to standard after the first few weeks moved in.The one downside is that the walls are very thin, so you do hear a good amount of noise coming from neighboring apartments. Other than that, its an awesome location, beautiful/open apartment space and great amenities. I would recommend!

I love living in this beautiful apartment building! The location is great and I enjoy living downtown. The staff (Chris, Erin and Nicki) are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to my needs. Additionally, the maintenance staff (Jason, Wes and Peter) are very helpful and prompt in repairing any problems in the apartment. I have enjoyed meeting numerous residents (interesting and friendly) in the building, at the pool and in the various beautiful outdoor seating areas. All in all, I am very excited to be living here at The District at Rosemary!

My husband and I have been living in this building for 2 months now. It is absolutely gorgeous. The pool is kept up and really beautiful, the grills are kept in shape, and the grounds are taken care of. Parking is fantastic ( you park on your floor) and the staff members are very receptive. The garden area is also a great escape. The two bedroom apartments are very well laid out, as well. The bathrooms are very large and the kitchen has more space than you can ask for. The closet space and the office nook are also a great little added bonus. They are probably the nicest apartments I have seen for the price ( we came from New England). The ONLY thing that is driving us nuts is that we can hear EVERYTHING from the tenant upstairs. They wake us up with their thumping and we can hear them walking around when they are home. It is extremely frustrating to have a pounding above you at all times. We cannot hear anything on either side of the apartment, but we can hear everything above us. I would recommend these apartments- just try to get a top floor apartment so you arent being woken up by your neighbor or have to deal with a loud thumping above you when you are trying to work.

District at Rosemary is a very well kept and professionally ran property. The office does a great job keeping in contact with its residents and making sure all of their needs are attained to. They are a great company to work with and the residents do a very good job of keeping their apartments in tact. The office staff is very helpful and very reliable as they work very hard to make sure the residents are happy.

Nicki was fantastic with customer service and help getting my in laws into an apartment based on their needs at very short notice. Even after they moved in she did everything she could to accommodate!

I completely love living here, especially since I work from home and have a hard time going out. I moved in during the first phase, so I knew coming in that it would be like a construction site for a while and working out the kinks for my whole lease. Not once have I had an issue that was too difficult to handle. Maintenance continually surprises my cat and I with how fast they resolve issues. The lobby staff are so nice and compassionate. Every finished project on site delights me and I feel like I get new surprises every few weeks (Starbucks in the lobby and swinging chairs near the pool! Its amazing). Theres events every month, the clubhouse is great for co-working, and the gym is easy to access and is so well put together.My boyfriend and I really wanted a place down the street from our favorite places like State St, Cask & Ale, Gator Club, and Patricks. Even better, you receive VIP cards for downtown services and specials!! The Overton and Spice Station are our new favorites as well. Besides local perks, the location is very central between a Siesta Key getaway and shopping at UTC.

From the Moment I walked into these apartments I was sold on them ! The leasing staff were amazing, being both friendly and truthful rather than false, pushy and just want my signature. At no time did i feel under pressure or that I was being fed sales lines. I was introduced to the Property Manager as well, who was not only equally awesome, but actually excused herself from a meeting to meet with me - never happened to me before, normally your lucky to get a wave from a PM when viewing other apartments.I moved in and found everything to be as near perfect as it could be. Great location, brilliant facilities, excellent local restaurants, only a few mins walk to down town.... the list goes on and on. Ive even met and been greeted by OUR OWN After Hours Security Team who come round every night multiple times. When i was told of Security when leasing i wasnt sure what it meant, but wow even they are great !! this place is just the best !!!Cant thank the whole team enough for making me not only welcome but feel instantly at home !

Let me echo the positive reviews left by others about District at Rosemary Apartments. The leasing office team is knowledgable, responsive, friendly. I found Nickole Hiott, Assistant Manager, especially competent and agreeable. Of note is that I leased at District at Rosemary sight unseen. The process by phone and email was very efficient. And upon arrival, the apartment and community amenities exceeded my expectations.

I was recently in the process of moving from Texas and then the virus hit. I was stuck in Texas for 2 months. It was very difficult to take care of things from afar, but Erin in the leasing office made it a breeze. She helped keep me up to date on things here, helped me pay rent online because I am not very good at technology, and always responded timely to any request no matter how small. I love living here! My apartment is the perfect layout for me, and with all the amenities, it feels like I am living at a resort. I also love the convenience of living downtown and being able to walk to work is awesome.

I have lived here for a year now and just signed a renewal for a new 15 month lease, let me tell you why. The property is exceptional, the staff respectful and professional (even in the hardest of times which I have personally witnessed) and the location is ideal. The people that live here really create an enjoyable environment, not to say there arent the occasional few who believe they are above the rules or those who feel like they create the rules, but thats typical apartment living for you. They hold monthly events which are fun, most are family friendly and while I understand why, I do wish to see more high end social events. The amenities here are top notch. My fiancé and I especially appreciate the outdoor spaces and enjoy our poolside location. I read the review saying we lived in a frat house. While I can agree that there are the occasional times we can hear someone outside late at night, Id have to be honest in saying that is quite the exaggeration. We work Monday through Friday and are at home every evening and weekend, and we do not share the same experience that particular fellow reviewer stated. Maintenance is great, we have seen a few different faces in that department, but it seems to be for the best as they only bring in better people. Overall weve enjoyed our experience. I dont usually trust reviews as I typically find it is only those who are unhappy that write them; however if you are looking for an honest opinion, I hope you find this helpful.

We signed our lease last October to move in for early January. A different company (Elan) owned the property when we signed our lease. By the time we moved in, The District had taken over and I have to say. Nickole made the transition as seamless as possible and was a rockstar in making us comfortable and helping us get set up. Luis and Jayson have been great as well. Good property, but the staff makes it great!

We have had a great experience with the District at Rosemary so far. We began looking for apartments in Sarasota last winter and when we stepped inside this building, we were really impressed with the facilities and the atmosphere. We could tell that this was particularly due to all of the employees we met and interacted with!Nickole, the assistant manager, worked with us the most, was very welcoming and made us feel right at home! She was quite helpful streamlining and guiding us in the administrative process. She was very available and was always pleasant to deal with! She has continued to be helpful and knowledgeable regarding the building, the impact of Covid 19 on it as well as on the Sarasota region and as newcomers to the state, what we needed to do.Nickole’s professionalism and her warm personality combined to make this an easier move for us!!

As helicopter parents, we have become excellent consumers of apartments for our kids. (College/first jobs, Austin, Boston, Winston-Salem, Sarasota). Elan Rosemary is hands down the best experience so far! Brand new, great up to date amenities (pool & outside grill my fav), very secure and top notch staff - (theres very little turnover and you get to know them on a first name basis). The public areas are cleaned daily. Theres a lot of attention to detail. IE, even the parking decks are cleaned periodically. The location is excellent proximity to downtown, good restaurants and the beautiful beaches. Theres plenty of fun activities planned for residents if youre interested. We also appreciated the excellent & timely email communications from management concerning anything residents needed to know (IE fire alarm tests, etc.) This has been our favorite apartment rental ever! C & T

Dont move here, expensive rent for luxury living although there isnt anything about luxury living in this apartment building other than the beautiful look of the building and being close to downtown. You cant access the amenities marketed. Locks do not work for outside entry doors (havent worked for 3 months) and management is unresponsive and inept to ongoing major issues with building. Roaches are on the 4th floor and major flooding on the first floor grilling courtyard due to inadequate draining. Building is wood frame so you hear everything around you including internal plumbing. Ive lived here for almost 3 months and the apartment has yet to have the working, accessible amenities they market. Theres zero room in the bike room for any more bikes, so dont count on being able to access that amenity. However, Indoor apartment maintenance and grounds crew are nice and friendly and will fix repairs within the apartment within 24 hours and are very responsive to repairs within the inside of the apartment. As far as maintenance contractors for the outside of the building- fire/security alarm, elevator,,door and garage locks, landscaping, etc, they are terrible and unresponsive to maintenance needs and management at Elan is just as bad, if not worse with handling issues. Parking is non existent in the garage if you live on the first floor, be prepared to drive up several flights in the garage to take the elevator back down to first floor. Also parking garage gate lock doesnt work either. Save yourself a headache and dont move here!

Toured this community and absolutely love it! The amenity areas are amazing. The wood wall when you walk into the leasing office is my favorite part of the decor. Definitely a great location to live and close to all the good spots in Sarasota. The staff here were so nice and accommodating!

When I first saw the leasing office and photos of this place I was really excited. The staff were very friendly and helped with the leasing process, which went semi-smoothly. Then I received a call that the apartment wasnt going to be ready on time, a call many many other residence received as well. When I moved in the problems began. First, the apartment was actually dirty when I moved in, complete with a pool of water on top of my broken dryer in the apartment (which they fixed). The actual construction of the building is incredibly poor. There are paint spots on the floors, edging that is messily done, and already pieces of the window sills of the exterior pealing off. Im shocked at how poor quality the construction is given the price. Now, the location is great, and when you first come it all looks beautiful, but things barely function by and large. I strongly encourage you to take a close look at everything if you visit. Additionally, the walls are as thin as paper you can hear your neighbors on either side, as well as above you, most of the time.

Noise. Noise. Noise. Do not rent here if you want to be afforded peaceful enjoyment of your apartment home. Absolutely no sound attenuation was considered when designing/building the building. Higher than market rents - yet incredibly poor quality construction. All show. No go. When the Tenant above my unit is home, it sounds like an elephant is walking around the ceiling of my space, not to mention the boom, boom, boom of the slamming of her entry door, cabinets, etc. I can literally hear her conversation when she is on the phone. TV noise is ridiculous. And the building is not even close to fully occupied. And, Ill mention the dogs barking.There have to be better options in the marketplace. Dont make your decision on the slick package of new construction and amenities - youll trade that for sleep and your peaceful enjoyment of your high rent choice.

Sadly We havnt even come there yet, but already experiencing unprofessionalism and ignorance from staff.The service with leasing agents is lacking, they simply do not communicate with you and if you have any questions they simply ignore you. Unfortunately it does not help if you are moving in from different state, they are not flexible, basically having us move in earlier (but we are not there yet because apartment we wanted could not be on hold for more that 2 weeks), they are not fast answering our questions over emails. I asked to switch agent and it was ignored. I also asked if they have any promotions and the answer was negative, sure enough 3 days after our move in date there is promotion 1 month free on their website for new residents. I asked if that apply to us, and this email is still IGNORED.I only hope living here will be better than current experience...

I’ve lived in other Greystar communities out in Seattle, this one’s a big upgrade. The gym and location are two big selling points for me. The staff is great. I will happily continue my lease.

You wont find a friendlier staff and the actual apartment I do love, but the downfall is that the windows are single pane and even though Im in the top floor I can hear all traffic and activity at street level. Which means I never get a good sleep. I work midshift and dont go to bed til after 2am so to have such cheap windows in a downtown area is disappointing for the amount of money I pay.

The amenities are plenty, the staff is courteous, and the apartment is magnificent!

Let me first start by saying that there are some positive aspects to this place. The staff are incredibly friendly, they have always been great to us and worked with us on everything, so theres no question youll receive a timely response when an issue arises. The pool area is nice (despite the fact that it opened far later than it was supposed to) and the gym is nice as well.The apartments are nice, and the appliances are also brand new and work well (despite issues with our washer and dryer, which they resolved). Our living room is pretty small, each of our 2 bedrooms are a decent size, not terribly big but not tiny. The bathroom is giant, which some people might not care for, I could certainly do without a shower that fits 5 people, but that might fit the needs of some people, so thats just me. I also cant complain about my giant walk in closet, there is no shortage of storage space.Here is my biggest issue, and one that I care about the most: There is zero privacy. There is a giant 2 inch gap beneath our bedroom doors, something I dont think ive seen in any building let alone someones home. There are also giant intake vents right above our bedroom doors, so as you can guess, noise passes straight through them. At all times, you can hear a pin drop outside of your bedroom, thats how bad it is. While I would go for a 1 bedroom here, a 2 bedroom IS NOT worth your time or money. I would gladly pay a few hundred extra dollars a month (although some other apartments might be similar in price in this area and not have this issue) for some privacy, which literally does not exist here. With both of our bedroom doors closed (our bedrooms are located across the apartment from each other) you can still hear whats going on 2 rooms over. If youre looking to rent a 2 bedroom apartment and care about having your own quiet room, DO NOT rent here. But if you dont care about privacy, rent away.

Considering relocating downtown, and I understand there are fees involved, but $450 dollars in fees that are non refundable for your application alone, regardless of approval or not, you dont see a penny of that $450 back? Thats outrageous

Having lived here since November Im going to give some honest advice based on experience. If you prize your rest and sanity dont move around the pool area. While I was assured the outdoor TVs would not be available for use after 8 pm before I moved in, that has not been the case and many months later I am still awake at 1 am because of the loud television(s) on. If its not the TVs, its a guy on his deck at 1, 2, 4, even 6 am feeling the need to yell into his phone speaker and have conversations for all to hear. On the weekends my fine neighbors, who have shared with me that they dont (maybe they cant) read the posted rules, lounge around IN the pool with their alcoholic beverages in glass bottles. A pleasant time is had by all, with some of us trying to navigate around those who think they need to enjoy their food and beverages inside the pool, disrespecting both their neighbors and the County Ordinances. But, what the heck, this is a frat house, right! Needless to say, if you treasure your sanity, dont rent around the pool area or come near it on the weekends.
