I was so thrilled and unbelievably happy by SRQ AC!! The original person who was supposed to come repair the unit was so unprofessional and not reliable. SRQ AC came to my rescue with in 20 mins! The other person I was playing phone tag with for hours and didn’t communicate correctly at all. Bobby Broderick helped me and was so professional and FAST! It made the process so easy and I had AC back on within the hour. I’ll gladly pay out of pocket for this company versus having my rental company get that unprofessional guy for free.

We had one of our commercial AC units installed by SRQ AC and we had all 3 commercial units serviced by them.We paid the price we agreed on, every time.No surprises, no extras.Everything was done on time. All their technicians were polite, professional and extremely clean.They respected our work space and they picked up and cleaned after they were done.I highly recommend them.

Ive used this business on two separate occasions. A couple years ago I had a new A/C unit installed and had no complaints with that service other than the length of time it took to get a permit and inspection for our air handler and unit following the installation. This review is centered around our most recent experience with this company. First and foremost I DO NOT recommend using this company if you are looking for a truthful repairman with morals. I paid them $700 to fix a units fan belt, expansion valve and have it refilled with freon. In short, this repair did not work, I had to call them back within 1 week. The second time they came for repair I was told that the Units warranty had expired but that the next option was to fix the compressor which would be a larger expense. After leaving a Voicemail after back to back days of scheduled repairs with no response or arrival on their part I finally heard back from them 4 days later. This is when I was told that the coils and air compressor for my unit have failed. Not only this but the coils were by his words rendered obsolete. Too bad for them, I had already decided to contact another company and not only get a second opinion, but also use a company that I hoped would be more responsive and take better care of me as a customer. This where things get Shady and WHY I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS A/C COMPANY TO ANYONE. It turns out the other company found that my units Warranty DID NOT expire until October 2022! And that there was no issue with the coils what so ever... Basically SRQ A/C flat out lied to me after I had already paid them a $700.00 bill for a repair that did nothing and was attempting to top that with an even larger repair bill. Please use caution when hiring this company and they only received two stars because I had no issues with the installation of My other unit several years ago. I certainly will never think of calling them or offering a referral for them to anyone!

Showed up the same day I called on a Friday afternoon, got my A/C back up and running then came out the next day at our request on the weekend and replaced our entire outdated system at a moment’s notice. Great customer service and would definitely recommend.

I have used SRQ AC twice in the past year. The first time was for a complete duct replacement. They removed the very old industrial type ducting and replaced it with the newer flexible tube type. They completely redesigned the routing as the old system had the returns going through the walls in just two places instead of in every room. They added new returns in every single room and added a new supply run into the laundry room. They relocated my air handler from my laundry room to the garage at my request and replaced the wood box that the air handler sits on with a nice stainless steel one.The entire process was great. The entire team was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and didnt mind me following them around and watching them work. The ducts have been in place for about a year and the air circulates so much better, the humidity is so much lower and the temp gets cooler than it did previously.The second job just recently completed was the replacement of both the outside unit and inside air handler. My outside unit stopped working on Sunday evening, I got a hold of Bob around dinner time and Bobby was at my house to troubleshoot the next morning (Monday). He tried to eliminate the smaller stuff but it ended up being a bad compressor. He laid out all of my options and at no time did he try to up-sell me or get me to install more than I needed. With the options in front of me, I decided to replace everything since it was old and I wanted both units that were made for each other and the new refrigerant and carried the same warranty. They moved some other calls that they had around and were able to get a team to my house Tuesday morning and had the job completed by 2 pm that afternoon. Problem started Sunday evening and by Tuesday I had a new system installed, amazing quick service that was much appreciated in the midst of summer in South Florida.Again, this job went off without a hitch and it was a pleasure to have Bob and Austin working at my home. I strongly recommend them if you run into any AC problems. Good technicians and good people! Thanks guys.

I’ve never been more impressed with a service company. (Don’t worry I won’t tell the dog he missed you)Original::: There are not enough wonderful things to say about this company. I closed on my first home and nothing is more frustrating for a first time homeowner than having to have a full HVAC replacement done the same day. Other companies in the area wanted me to change my entire duct layout and move the air handler out of my tight attic. These guys got a new one in there with no problem. Since that experience I have had them out a couple times to do some adjustments. I joke that my dog shouldn’t be excited to see an HVAC company, but I will never have anyone else servicing my system. I called emergency line at 7:30 and he came out that evening to check out my AC. Miraculously, it started working again on its own after he arrived. I offered to pay him for his time, but he refused. These guys are honest and did a great job! The 1st company that I got an estimate from said I needed 18lbs of refrigerant at $60 a lb. SRQ told me my system only takes 10lbs and they would charge me $35 per lb. They safed me $730!!! Like I said HONEST, they made a customer for life. I would highly recommend them.

The technician was parked in the driveway and got yelled at for being parked in the driveway with much profanity. Once this tenant is gone, the repairs will be done by SRQ AC. This is a very reputable company that has been taking care of over 100 properties for me for the past two years. Nothing but good, honest, on time work.

Im going to have to give one star for a no show on an appointment to have an estimate on getting my duct work replaced. I did not even get a call telling me they were going to flake. Bummer because I was looking for a company for insulation and maintenance.

The only 24 hour service that answered for me at 11pm. Excellent service, able to troubleshoot problem within minutes and didnt try and bs me. Very honest and trustworthy, even though they didnt install my a/c, they checked and saw the date of faulty component was under warranty and got the part for free from manufacturer and installed in hours.

I called Bob for a 2nd opinion & price on a replacement unit. We spoke for a few minutes and after a call to the manufacturer, he said we would be covered for parts! Upon visiting my home, Bob discovered our unit WAS NOT in need of replacement and even the parts we were told were bad were working! It was something else and those parts were under warranty! The worst thing in florida is when your air conditioning stops working. My first call was to SRQ AC. They were at my house promptly and got me back up and running in no time. Their knowledge, personalities, and customer service are excellent. If you have a heating or cooling need they should be your first call.

When my AC unit first went out a few weeks back around midnight on Saturday, this was the only place that answered my call and got something set up for the next day.What really stood out to me was how Bob, the owner, tried to help me diagnose the problem over the phone as opposed to immediately scheduling someone to come out and start charging me money. I had SRQ AC install our new AC with heat strips. We discussed air return which was not sufficient. We were to have a wall mounted unit, but it was not wall mounted and decreased the amount of return air. I called SRQAC and they came out and cut the hole bigger. We had just purchased the condo from an older lady who we allowed to stay for several months before she moved. She did not understand the operation of the thermostat and humidistat and did not like the extra cold when the humidistat went on. I do not know how many times SRQAC came out, but without discussing this with me they disconnected the humidistat that we had them install. We returned to Florida in January and found the heat did not work. SRQAC came out and found a mistake in the wiring. Then I noticed the humidistat did not work and when I called they said they knew the problem because they had disconnected it. Originally it was to be wired so that either the thermostat or humidistat would turn on the ac. After they came out it only turns on when it meets both the criteria of the thermostat and the humidistat. We had SRQAC install the humidistat to control the humidity when we are gone.
