Great option if you have line of sight and lousy alternatives on terms of speed. Non-existent customer service, if awfully kind folk. Hard to imagine them surviving starlink for residential service.
We had to use CDS when we lived on the coast since there are very limited choices for internet service providers. I cancelled our account in March 2019 since we moved out of the area. At that time I was told that the accountant would be notified and there would no future charges on my credit card (maybe one more charge during the termination period). I am still receiving charges on my credit card. I have contacted CDS every 2 to 4 weeks to inquire about the on-going charges to my credit card. No live person has answered the telephone when I called. No one has returned my calls since April 2019 and it is now almost July 2019.Lack of customer service was always an issue when we had to use them as an internet service provider. If there was a loss of connection, many times there would be no one in the office taking calls. If the loss of connection was on a Friday, it was common not to have service returned until Monday at the soonest.
