Replying to their verification emails numerous times strangely never seems to get work, even after 30 minutes, at which point they want your to upload a color copy of your drivers license or passport. NO WAY, NO HOW!!! The reason Im trying to cancel my account is because of the piss-poor security they have for the sites being hosted on their servers. And the super-slow chat support is also worthless. Horrible, horrible experience!!!
These guys used to be a great value and a great hosting service. In the last few years something has happened with the company and they have taken a huge plunge. I would not recommend using them. I am currently looking to switch my reselling account to a more reliable company.
Why they are asking for Government issued ID with picture - driver license and street address. So they can make more money selling my information ? If I give them my credit card number and funds are being withdrawn why they need tighten security. Even if I do, with fake address, picture etc what are they going to do or what they can do. I live in US. I will call local authorities where this company reside and have them investigated. So they have my credit card, DOB, picture and last four digits of social security .... they are compromising my security. Authorities must investigate.
Horrible experience. I have been trying to transfer my domain to a new host and Arvixe is keeping my site hostage and will not allow the registrar to release it.As soon as I tried to transfer the site they cut off my ability to submit support tickets for my account.Would suggest you find another company to use. They are not worth the poor service and all the hassle.
Im having a problem with Arvixe, I have tried many times to change my domain to another provider. I need the epp code. This has been going on for a month. I emailed, no response, I called and spoke with their representative who said she would email it to me. Never happened.Any body having problems with Arvixe.dave
Great Value for money, Customer Service resolved my issues fairly swiftly. Much better than my previous host. No downtime experienced in 2 years.
Not recommended at all, poor customer service. Take weeks to reply, no refund issued. I use few other hosting services, none as unprofessional as this. Not sure how are they still in business.
Last 4 years going great and last 6 month getting huge attack and hacker sending many email from my IPS . support unable to fix them also, I was cleaned when I was restored data then same problem again. now I have been switched

I got very bad support from Cameron, in affiliate department.He tried to fool me and make me like an idiot. He lied about the affiliate rule and tried to point out that it’s my mistake so I did not get paid. Obviously, I did everything right. He only knows how to protect himself but doesn’t know how to solve the problem. He doesn’t even care about company reputation.In addition, his communication is slow as hell. New Review - Cannot even contact them for tech support. No phone number. Tried to email a ticket and it was rejected. Tried to create one in my control panel and it wont let me generate a ticket. I have bad experience using the Arvixe server!!!The server is always giving me downtime . Details error - Service Unavailable, HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.I had raised many tickets, talked to the online agents many times, the only answer i get is we had fixed the problem and our senior engineer will reply you the permanent solution. BUT i never get an email replied.. NEVER!Also the support is lack of urgency! When i tried to contact to follow up on my issue, what i got replied was Your site is loading fine now.. please verify it from your end, The problem is coming back in a few days again.This has given so much frustration to my client. Why is there no urgency to fix the issue when it is being reported?I would not encourage to move to Arvixe!

This company would get zero stars if it were an available option. Take a tip from the other reviewers and stay away. They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. There is zero customer support. Oh, they have a chat line, but if you actually need something resolved, forget trying that. Their chat personnel are clueless and do not have the authority or expertise to resolve any issues. The only way to communicate with them is by support tickets to which they respond only after many, many days (if at all) and never with a solution that actually addresses your problem. They are by far the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND FAR AND AWAY THE MOST FRUSTRATING. Steer Clear of this hosting company....still trying to get my hosting cost refunded when they even admit that they cant host for my WebEasy program. They just take the money and run. BE WARNED!
Arvixe was one of the best hosts I ever had the pleasure of working with... WAS. Arvixe was sold to some other company a lil while back and everything has gone down hill. They no longer offer Support or even freakin Sales by phone. When you do need to open a ticket with support, it will generally take 24-48 hours before you get a response. And hell forbid if they need to ask you a question. Youll email them back 2 minutes after receiving it and have to wait another 24-48 hours before hearing back. Chat Support is an absolute joke and will do everything they can to make you think the problem is because of something you did. And don;t get me started on their unlimited bandwidth and space. In short. Its not. Its very-very not.

Arvixe was the most reliable Hosting provider, even recommenced by Open cart. BUT NO MORE..,For the past year this they earned the most worst hosting service provider badge, we cannot say even they provide hosting, the just collect the payment, run the server for one week and then your website, entire files goes to infinity. literally you loose... they screw you up and you will never get Justice from this fraud Company. They are cheaters, they even cheating people now...See the reviews, How many companies, people, just get cheated by this frauds... :(
There customer service is horrible. Could not even answer the most basic of questions. 2 hours later and still no resolution. Their offshore customer service is pathetic... 5 to 10 minutes between responses! Do not get this service!
One of the worst hosting sites Ive seen. My site goes down multiple times a week for a day or more. I contact support and get the standard we are working on the situation, we will fix the problem in the earliest time, but know one gets to the root problem of why it keeps going down. The tech support chat is useless, cant reach anyone on the phone off hours, Time to Find a New Hosting Site. If you dont mind your site being down for multiple days each month, and spending hours upon hours trying to get the problem resolved, then, Arvixe if for you!
Arvixe used to be an okay web host but not anymore. They dont even have a customer service number that works, their chat feature doesnt work as of today (8/30/17) on multiple browsers and two different networks, and there literally is not a way to submit a support ticket. It just redirects to chat. Their address is a house in Santa Rosa, CA. Try Hostgator, Bluehost or any of the other cheap web hosts out there.
Dishonest. Be careful, they will keep charging you years after you stop using the service even if you close your account. Watch you credit card or paypal account.

From the start I had to submit 4 tickets for various technical issues stopping one their shared servers from working.I purchased a domain through Arvixe. Two days after they had taken payment for the domain they still hadnt purchased it for me. I proceeded to purchase the domain through another registrar. They have refused to refund me for the domain they never provided.I then cancelled my account more than one month before the billing date. Specifically requesting not to be charged again. The cancellation did not happen and Arvixe charged my account again and are refusing to refund my money.This company will steal your money.
I started business with Arvixe in 2014 and they had the best support and servers were running smoothly,, however starting 2016 they are deteriorating, support is very bad and dont solve the issues ; it seems that there are 4 people only in the support, I wish they return back to there best soonest
This has become the worse hosting company ive worked with. Ive had account with them for over 8 years and they used to be great. I can always talk to someone on the phone whenever i need help, now they only support live chat and most of the time they dont resolve anything. Ive had some billing issues with renewals coz ive changed my credit card, so since they werent able to charge my old card. they cancelled my services that ive already paid for without notice and disrupted the businesses im working with. Im now in the process on moving all my stuff our of arvixe.
Worst host ever, my 3 sites have been down for more than 2 weeks now and it is impossible to talk to anybody. i cannot even connect through ftp to move my sites to another host. Virtually, more than five years of hard work have been erased.
Same problem As Mark Willow thousand of bounced emails hitting my account. My Account was hacked thru Arvixes server. Customer service is located in India via chat only and is absolutely worthless. This Hosting company went from hero to zero in less than 60 seconds.

My site has been hacked into and down 3 times in past 4 weeks. They have shut down their phones, their live chat is a joke (be ready to be chatting for 2 hours with 2 - 5 minutes of silence in between each response because they are working on a number of chats at once). I cannot access my cpanel. Seriously very annoyed, scared and disappointed. No one is getting back to me.

I had a good experience with this company for three years. However, Ive had trouble with them three times in the last month that has resulted in email being down for my clients during business hours.The last incident involves one client email account that was hacked and was sending out spam. Instead of suspending that one email address, they suspended the entire account, meaning dozens of email accounts for several clients becoming unavailable.Then their support to resolve the issue was ridiculously slow. EVERYONE else I do business with does better.Arvixe no longer has a public facing phone number, which most of their competitors do. Im personally moving to Dotster, which does have phone support, and has provided me with good service for years for my domain administration.
