I dont know how Enterprise manages to find the most cheerful, helpful, efficient people to work for them, but they do! There at Cleveland Ave. are A+!
Sharing my experience on my last rental I requested a small compact car and was handed a big red fire eating and expensive pickup truck did I needed to use a step stool to get in and out of Im only 5ft tall. Now this gentle reminder only comes because somebody says its going to be read on this posting Enterprise place I got on my phone. The folks behind the counter wherever so pleasant and ever so willing to put up a big posting of yes my happy place on the Enterprise post. I got almost everything I needed to do from 9 a.m. yesterday until 4 this afternoon and was charged 47 billion dollars. Theres no such thing as a bargain in the dealer to buy when you rent I guess you got to buy the son of a b**** and it wont be a big huge King dual cab long bed pickup truck did I couldnt even see over the hood peace out folks enjoy
The folks at this Enterprise bailed us out when our poor truck died on a road trip through CA! Amazing service even though we showed up a few minutes before they closed. Thank you!!
I love Enterprise, they always go above and beyond for customers and this location was no exception, they drop us off back in our hotel even though it was 3 miles more than their allowed miles
I reserved the car I wanted for my trip 3 days before and I am a loyal customer for them. I always rent my car from other branches of enterprise and never had problems before. But these guys made me so upset. Thwy started making me struggling for a proof of address because I wanted to use my debit card. I had several documents to show them that my address is the sane as on my driver’s license. But they said they just accept specific documents. So after 2 hours of talking and showing them whatever documents I had, they said they tride to help me but they are sorry.They were so impolite and unprofessional.This is the worst customer service I ever had.Sorry guys. But you need to get some training before getting hired.I went to hertz company after that and they just gave me the car even with no reservation and they didn’t even ask me an additional document as a proof of address.
THEIR ADS ADVERTISE THAT THEY WILL BOTH PICK YOU UP AND DRIVE YOU HOME... THEY will supposedly pick you up to bring you to the rent-a-car store... However when we delivered the car before the time it was due with the required gas in the tank they then refused to drive me and my uncle (both of us disabled) home!!!!! Do not expect them to keep advertised services, theyre liars!Id have given them 0 stars if I could, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ENTERPRISE AT ALL!WILL UPGRADE STARS IF COMPENSATION IS PROVIDED OR IF I HAVE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE (WHICH I WONT BC I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN)!!!!ENTERPRISE IN HEALDSBURG IS MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!!
Pretty good replacement for my local Enterprise if it werent so far away. Theres no more pickup in Sonoma so you must have 2 people to get your rental if you have a car going in for body work in Sonoma. I miss our local Enterprise but Cleveland Avenue is just fine by me. Lets see if they keep their word on my deposit. Time will tell. I hope I dont have to come back to edit my post. That would not be good...Im almost won over...
This location called me 2 hrs before my reserved pick up time to inform me that they didnt have a car for my set reservation. Called into their customer support, they couldnt help. Seems like Ive been transferred to an endless loop of hold music and Please continue to hold. Found a car at another Enterprise location down the road, and now the reservation cost is $120 more than my original reserved price.
They did everything possible to make this an easy, convenient and pleasurable experience. The car was immaculate and well appointed. They went out of their way to provide special accomodations and the shuttle service at both ends of the journey were a blessing. Henceforth when I need a car rental it will be, if at all possible, Enterprise.
This was a terrible experience. They did not have my Full Size car at site even after 2 weeks reservation. Then they said they upgraded me to a SUV. Compact in size, and drove like a truck. Very uncomfortable and I considered it a down grade...Also, I returned the car at 4:27 PM and they said they had no one to shuttle me back to my hotel... Seriously at 4:27, 5 employees on site!!! They said the shuttle cuts off at 4pm, isnt that when most renters are returning cars????I hate being lied to straight faced. Choose anyone but them.

I don’t know about the other location but the enterprise location 1621Cleveland Ave are trouble maker. Be careful there when you rent the car . Last week I book car over there one of the guy say don’t worry about the roof of the car is fine . When we return they said on the roof there was a dent .Even we don’t have any accident . Be aware they try to take benefits from you ...so ask for car nice and clean and make a video of car and man when you guys take the rent otherwise they try to blame on you..Because of the situation my tour is worthless...
This is the worst branch in the NorCal area. Horrendous customer service. This group of people on this branch lied straight to my face. Good thing I read the contract. Never coming back and I don’t recommend this branch to anyone.

I got charged for minor damage i didnt do. The pre rental inspection should be the same as the return. I got a 15 second walk around but upon returning got 2 people inspecting and found a small scuff almost under the car. I drove impeccably but still am getting blamed. I will never rent from you again.
This is my fourth rental from this location, and probably the 6th or 7th reservation. Very unsatisfied with the service I’ve received at this location. I’m over 6 feet tall, I’ll only ever reserve a full size car. I believe this guy is the manager who has tried putting me in compact cars on multiple visits and for virtually the same price as the full size car. It felt almost like it was only because I was black, but I chose not to believe that and kept going back. I’ve been called 30 minutes before my reservation 2-3 times to be waitlisted because they don’t have cars available, cars I’ve reserved days to weeks in advance. I’ve also noticed that this location will rarely let me reserve a car for two days or even a weekend. I’ve driven off they’re lot twice with cars that still needed to be serviced, one terribly. I rented with them yesterday and the young lady told me that I would need a ton of extra documentation to rent from them since I was using a debit card because the system was down and to “prove” my address. It felt very much like discrimination because as far as I know the policy for using a debit card is a $200 deposit. Once I told her that I was an avid renter she checked my account and said oh I see I can rent to you. Very disappointing, but I have to use them unfortunately. I suggest diversity training, because I’d like to be treated as everyone else, when I’m in your establishment!
Ive always been a loyal Enterprise customer but now with covid-19 the economy cars therefore youre paying 50 bucks a day and up

My experience with Enterprise was very satisfactory from start to end. The booking online was smooth, when I picked up my car, I got upgraded, the car condition was almost brand new, and the handover was effortless. When I returned it the office was closed, so their key drop-off system works out really good. Ive been back a few times. Oh, also the rental prices are a steal!
In a moments notice your life can change. I think we are all feeling that these days, but especially after an accident and insurance claim. While I sat in the body shop agonizing over trying to adjust my very busy schedule without my car, which left me with many “How will I…”, and “Who can I call…”, questions. It was very comforting to know that with one quick call to Enterprise, they had a car delivered to me within minutes, and I do mean minutes! The Fast, Friendly and Helpful Enterprise staff had me in a clean car and back on the road. It was so quick and effortless, that I had no reason to stress over my tight schedule that had been so unexpectedly changed. I would also like to give special recognition to the Enterprise Santa Rosa – Cleveland Ave Branch, along with Brad and his coworkers for the excellent, speedy, and courteous service they provided. This is one of the best Enterprise to rent a car the staff is totally awesome they do a great job the cars are really clean and timely.If somethings not right they definitely take the time to fix it or help accommodate A plus plus
Slow rental experience - took 45 minutes. Vehicle reserved not available and had to wait for a vehicle to be returned. Reserved vehicle at off airport location to save $200. The vehicle provided was same cost at airport which would have saved uber cost. Asked to drop vehicle at airport, but was informed drop charge was $100. Staff was pleasant, but inefficient. Not sure what happened with the old line Well pick you up. Next time, Ill reserve airport and off airport, make phone call to see if vehicle available and determine course of action. Return was much better as staff member tried to assist as other family needing vehicle and waiting like we did on pick up.
Enterprise has a wonderful caring team. They are always so helpful.
This is the second time with this Enterprise location with the same issue. I reserved a luxury car 2 weeks in advance. I checked in early the day before the rental but the morning I was to pick up the car I received a call being told they did not have the car. I asked for options, they said they had a mid sized sedan, but “it’s first come first serve, so I can’t tell you what we will have when you get here. If you just need wheels today we will try to help you with something”. Queue the Seinfeld episode concerning car rentals. How do I go from guaranteed reservation to “first come first serve”? What is the point of making a reservation? If you have absolutely no other options, rent from this Enterprise location. Hertz, Avis and Go-Rentals all had 100% better customer service when I called around looking for a last minute replacement.

I didn’t have super high expectations because COVID is changing the way everything is done now, but there were a few things that made the experience less than perfect. When I picked up the car everything I could have done online was completed so the transition was pretty seamless, however after the keys were handed to me and I had a chance to hop in the car for the first time after the rental agent left I noticed the car smelled slightly of cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking vehicle, the windshield wiper cleaning fluid was empty, and the oil change was due soon. The oil change didn’t bother me too much until I was half way through my trip and the reminder started going off in earnest because it was then time for an oil change. The return went just as smooth and easy as the pick up, the only real problems were with the actual vehicle itself and the lack of maintenance done to it.

The only thing that seemed off was you can drop a car @ 8am but have to wait an hour for shuttle to start run at 9am. Obviously corporate office has changed it’s policy on them picking you up when you rent a automobile, still great service by the crew at the Cleveland depot. They are very good at what they do!
Waiting on hold for an hour their recording bragged over and over about how they are a family business. Well, they act more like a rigid corporation. They wouldnt let me rent with a debit card even though it can be run as credit because of company policy so I had to cancel my reservation. I dont have a credit card because I dont ever need one... perfect credit and no debt. Someone a family business would probably love to rent to. I can use my wifes credit card but only if she shows up in person (company policy) and she was working at the time. I guess I need to get a credit card but I found the manager at this particular location to be completely inflexible. Even calling corporate they said if you wouldnt have said its a debit card you can run as credit they wouldve never realized and it wouldve been fine. Im okay with roadblocks and hurdles but when it reaches the point that two parties absolutely cannot come to agreement then theres really no choice but to cease doing business together.

I usually order a vehicle online, which is very convenient. However, the vehicle I order is usually not available. Its as if it doesnt matter what I order because I will get what is available. The counter staff is pleasant. Ive never gotten a bad or dirty car. I have gotten cars that have little to no fuel. I want my car full of gas when I rent it and I will return it in the same condition. I shouldnt have to guess how much to add without over or under filling.
I have rented vehicles from this location many times and most every time have been very satisfied with the help and cars I’ve receivedthe women who work here are all professional, polite and for the most part in pretty good moods which is important to me.I recommend this location over any other rental car company in Santa Rosa plus they have a great weekend deal from Friday to Monday it’s under $100 for a small car which you cannot beat that price and again I can’t say enough about the ladies who work there. I have even received text messages checking in with me to see how the rental is going which I’ve never received from any other car rental company

Rented a car while my mine was in the repair shop. A few days after returning the car, they charged me $10 for Fastrak even though I had my OWN Fastrak in the car. When I called the office, they explained that I would have to call Fastrak and get it refunded, they can’t do anything about it. Bull. I expect a call soon from someone at Enterprise to let me know this has been refunded before I take further action.
Great service. Very little wait to get the vehicle. Reason there is no 5th star is because I wanted an SUV and had to settle for a mini-van, and then the minivan was DIRTY inside. See pictures, looks like the kids ate a sandwich and spilled their soda on the seat and the side panel and it ran down and then just turned sticky. This is unacceptable to rent out in this condition in my opinion. Enterprise - you can do better!
I tried all day yesterday to rent a car and it was impossible to rent one where I live I had to drive three hours just to find a car to rent because they had no availability if you rent cars thats your business you think you would have cars to rent but not at enterprise

Truck was filthy. Outside had been spray washed but had debris all over. Inside was definitely NOT SANITIZED. I found a used paper towel in the glove box, a package of vape cartridges under the front seat (actually my grandson found those-terrifying as he thought they were candy) and an empty cheese wrapper under the seat. The bed of the truck was disgusting. It had garbage, egg shells, a couple of wrenches and a socket along with paper trash in it. It took my husband about 45 minutes to get the bed of the truck suitable for our luggage. i spent about an hour and a couple cans of Lysol to disinfect the inside. We are both in the danger age for Covid and I have recently spent a week in hospital with a blood clotting condition and my husband is a recent cancer survivor and has emphysema so this was very worrisome to say the least. On the trip the dash lights kept telling us the air filter was near replacement, check engine light came on as well 4 wheel drive malfunctioning notices . I complained when I got back and was refunded for 2 days of the nine I was charged for ( I only had the car 8 days so was being charged extra to begin with). I was originally charged $40 over my quoted price but they lowered that so I was only paying $7 more than my quote. With all these issues-as well as nearly not having the reservation for us which was made a month in advance-it was a disastrous and disappointing experience. I am going to try again to rent a truck the end of July . We are going to a different Enterprise location hoping it was only this location that was poorly representing Enterprise. I am hopeful our experience will be different.

Great customer service especially. This is not offense, but they are not high paying jobs in the area. They are unlike lawyer, doctor, local movement employees. Employees in Enterprise, Cleveland office in Santa Rosa are just great work ethics and dealing with customer with great respect.

We are relatively new to Enterprise but have been quite pleased with the service and benefits that have been provided to us. Since we have needed to rent for extended periods(1-2 months at a time), we have rather quickly, through the Enterprise Plus award program achieved the Gold level status which affords us even more discounts and points toward additional rentals. What I would say is that it would be helpful for customers and I would think intuitive for the Enterprise Plus program, if agents at the counters were trained in the details of this program when questioned as to how the program works and/or the benefits to customers as an incentive for more people to join and for the company to encourage the growth of more loyal customers .

The workers here were friendly, explained things well and even let me return my car a little later in the day when they were tring to close. The car was in good working order. I would have liked to have a car more similiar to my own but I didnt say so, so thats on me.
I had to wait 30 minutes for my car because it was getting a oil change. Seriously an boil change the guy was moving like a snail. I did get an up grade but I was already behind schedule.
Shout out to Robin and the team over there. I rented a passenger van two weekends in a row. First weekend, was a last minute emergency and second weekend I had more time, but the vans all had issues. She handled it all professionally and like a boss lady! She not only was putting pressure on the tire guys but also called in a backup van from a different location. Shes awesome and I highly recommend using this location. She extinguishes fire after fires gracefully and professionally. They are understaffed so be patient when you go there, but theyll take great care of you. FYI, there is a rental car shortage in Sonoma County so plan ahead!
Needed a SUV for a week visit with my family and made a reservation with Enterprise, when I arrived, they ask if I wanted an upgrade to a full size SUV as they were waiting on my car to be returned, to which I agreed. The SUV was clean neat and I was on my way within 20 minutes and we had a wonderful stress free visit with family. Upon return, the offered a ride home as I was local, but I had made arrangements. Kuddos to the team at Enterprise! I am a fan for ever!
I had given Enterprise a 5 star review about 9 months ago, sadly I must downgrade due to their recent service. Last month I reserved a vehicle online for a Saturday job, only to get a call at 8am Saturday morning saying they had no vehicles available that would meet my needs, forcing me to scramble and make alternate arrangements. Then last weekend I came to their Cleveland Ave lot to pick up the SUV I had reserved a week in advance, only to be told again they had nothing at the moment, but were expecting a return within the hour. Fortunately, the return did show up, but I was almost late for my job. I returned the vehicle to their lot before business hours on Sunday, secured the vehicle, and dropped the keys in the drop box. Then I get an invoice/charge notice on my credit card for 2 days, clearly stating I returned the Monday and had driven it over 800 miles when the actual miles was less than 200. and at a higher rate than I had booked for. When I called to complain about the overcharges, I was told by the service person, in a very discourteous manner, that mistakes happen and the matter would be looked into, and they hung up. I did get my bill adjusted, but feel like I was being blown off - I will be taking my business elsewhere

The Staff is great friendly helpful. My only complaint is when you rent the bigger Vehicles the SUV is they always tend to smell of Cigarettes which I hate.

Exceptional! Our whole family has been sold on Enterprise after this wonderful car rental experience for our family vacation. Our rental experience started by chance, after our reservation at Sixt was not fulfilled due to their local office being overbooked. Enterprise was able to reserve us a car, very quickly, over the phone. When we arrived at the office we were all cheerfully greeted by Drew. Drew was helpful, kind and accommodating, impressing us all with exceptional customer service. We were on the road very quickly with a car that exceeded our expectations. The next day, Drew called to follow up and see how things were going with the car and to see if we had any questions.Drew explained how to add additional drivers if we chose to do so on our vacation. When we stopped at the Sacramento branch to add drivers, it went very smoothly because of Drews guidance. The customer service in Sacramento was top notch. Again, we were all very impressed with our Enterprise rental experience.
Have been sitting here for an hour and the phone just keeps ringing and ringing. There are people here and they don’t even answer it. Nobody has any sense of urgency. It’s insane. Reservations mean nothing here. It’s lawless. A lawless hellscape built on loose hair and stale beer. I wish there was water or even tissues. There is a gender neutral bathroom and a putting green on the side that maybe you can use but just a putter no ball. One star.
My review is on my experience over the phone only. I wouldn’t even give this 1 star but I had to, to post!. That’s how bad my review is. I never do this but this time I felt like I had to. This is the branch I usually rent from, it’s the closest so much more convenient for me. Last time I rented from them they where so polite and friendly. Today though was the contrary, (I’m guessing they got new staff) I called to check availability and prices. The lady on the phone was very persistent on me getting something bigger, which I did not need. After I got prices, I asked if I could call back to reserve, cause I needed to check with my husband and see our budget first. To which she said if you call back and wait you won’t get anything! And it’s not necessarily what she said but how she said it. Such attitude. That is not the way to make a sale. Never renting from this branch again. Invest on the training of your customer service representatives!

We had a wonderful experience with Bobby at Enterprise in Santa Rosa. He was very professional and warm. He made sure to go over everything thoroughly. The cost reflected what what quoted to us. Bobby made sure to call us and follow up two times. We will use this enterprise again in the future.

Rented from the Cleveland office. Only had a few minutes wait on pickup. Sammy helped me through the process and was very helpful and courteous. They put me in a much nicer car than I expected, and I loved driving it. Returning the car was fast and simple, took only about 3 minutes and cost what I expected. I will definitely rent here again!

My son was in a car accident and was able to rent a car for a decent price while waiting for his car to be replaced it was a very good experience I abused Enterprise since its conception always satisfied.
The staff were kind and accommodating yet not knowledgeable enough. We tried to rent an all wheel drive car and were given a front wheel drive car. Pretty disappointing its the second time this has happened. But not at this location. I guess car rental place is just on top of their game...😟

I enjoyed my experience with the Cleveland office. When I made some last minute changes everyone was helpful in making sure I received the vehicle that I needed for my trip. I received a discount on my rental truck which I really appreciated. The staff was was friendly and professional.
I rented a van to move from NorCal to SoCal, and everyone was super nice and very friendly, with the exception of the person in Santee who was a little rough. there was a windshield problem and the young lady who helped me was super nice and made everything ok. Would definitely recommend them.Overall a great experience
Enterprise is my go-to for rental cars because of a history with them that proves customer satisfaction at a great price. I rented for a weekend rental and discussed options with an employer before arriving. The great thing is they will pick you up and drop you off...you might have to wait but they have always sent a friendly driver every time.The Cleveland Ave location has in fact been low on inventory a couple of times when renting but at 9.99 a day and a 100 mile limit per day...it sure makes renting locally a hit. Plus if you stay in communication with an agent they will update you and help you with what is available and when. I was travelling about 3 hours south and for an additional $5.00 a day they will add unlimited miles. The other flexible option I asked was to keep the car an added day past the F-M special and their rate for that was competitive and affordable. I I was given a car with out of state plates smelling of smoke.($150.00 additional charge for smoking in the car as well as if you have pets,) I left the lot later than the original 1pm pull out time for the reason of low inventory At the time I was glad to just get the car and depart. HOWEVER... with all that said..i left the lot and realized the agent didnt put on my contract the smoky interior smell and or the extra unlimited miles I requested originally...! Off the lot only 10 minutes i returned to ask for The paperwork to reflect what I wanted and they were still hopping and busy but the agent took a minute to fix the paperwork...well almost. He got the unlimited miles added...and away I went. Happy to just be on the road..I was a bit unsatisfied and thought about the negotiations at the end of the contract and didnt fret... the following day I was loading the trunk when I realized the car plates had expired. I called again immediately to the store and the agent reassured me she could have the tags replaced in a jiffy ...just bring the car by...I wasnt scheduled to leave on my trip until Sunday so i returned! . At my return I was informed they couldnt find the tags but they would switch out the car if that would make things better..... I agreed and left the lot with a brand new Nissan only 1400 miles and an empty gas tank...they Knocked off a day of expense and didnt charge for the fuel on return (of course) ..and my trip got on its way with a 300 mile drive ahead of me...Ready for that getaway!
So its my fault that I expect a clean car when I come in. Its my fault that when I request a certain vehicle and I show up and its not that vehicle. It is my fault to be burned agian by the folks at this site. It will not happen agianYou shouldnt let it happen to you DONT GO TO THIS SITE YOU WILL BE SORRY!!
This location was awesome👏👏👏 Ron(driver) pick me up on time and was friendly even recommended some great local spots.Amanda greeted my with a smile was friendly,patient because I cant decide which car to rent...Car I got was clean problem free. I have used the Cleveland Ave. Enterprise dozens of times. My experience for car rental a few weeks ago was 5 stars. Received the vehicle I requested on time with pick-up and delivery-no hassles. The vehicle, a Toyota, ran like a top with all the bells and whistles.The staff treated just fine - as always. I intend to rent again from Enterprise on Cleveland Ave.Take Care Cornelius
Made a reservation, drove 1 hour to pick up the car, and when I got here they told me they had no cars available, and that there was nothing they could do
Got there a few minutes before they opened.Opened right at 7:30, it only took about 10 min. Friendly efficient staff.
Good rental experience. Clean good condition car that was fun to drive. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Will definitely go back the next time I need a rental
There is plenty of Rent-A-Car agencies, I have not try any other agency, What surprised me when i return the Van, the costumer service ask me if I need a ride back to my place, I ask her, are you for real? She saidyes. One of the agent drive us home with no extra charge, keep up the good service Enterprise,its always been a good experience for me w/ Enterprise Rent a Car.
Although we reserved an SUV for our family, they did not have a vehicle for us when we arrived to pick it up. We were offered a 12 passenger van instead. After respectfully declining this offer, they asked us to wait until they located an SUV. They drove us to our hotel and then came back a few hours later with the vehicle. Although we were disappointed that they didnt have our requested vehicle, and a bit irritated at the additional waiting time, the sales manager and sales reps were very accommodating and even reduced our daily charge for the rental. They recovered their service failure very well and we would use them again.
I truly have a great experience every time. Any time I have a problem, its solved with a smile. Ive been given upgrades for being a semi-regular customer that I never ask for, its just that kind of place. Great people there.
