Ive always enjoyed shopping at the Bike Curious Rentals (including the one in Walnut Creek). The variety is extensive, fun atmosphere, and the employees are helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Whats not to like?

This guy was great. Found a Groupon to rent the bikes or likely would have never known about it. Great guy tending the store gave us friendly conversation as he made sure our bikes were ready for the ride.

Used a Groupon for this place for 5 people to rent bikes. Got there early. Check in was a breeze. The man that checked us in was insanely helpful and nice to us. One of the best experiences with customer service. Bikes were good, easy to ride. Would highly recommend this place to rent!

I was lucky enough to snag a Groupon, $12 for an all-day rental for what was called a beach cruiser. Normally rentals here for the day will run you an even $20. The shop opens at 9:30am we got there about 10:40am and was one of the first clients of the day.We had four people in our group and check-in was a breeze. You will have to give one ID so make sure you bring either a Driver License or school ID. After you sign the liability papers youre pretty much off to explore. The bikes we got were study and surprisingly comfy. The seats looks like it would chap your ass but we didnt experience any of that. Unfortunately we were only granted one basket for our group so make sure to leave your purse at home or bring a backpack.Venice is perfect for bike riding! We were able to follow the bike trail on the beach from Venice to Santa Monica. There were a few knuckleheads walking the bike road (I used to be that person) so it did make maneuvering difficult in some areas. Just watch out for pedestrians because they really do come out of no where.Overall a cute and inexpensive way to spend a nice summer day. Bike Curious has some study bikes and the service was friendly. The owner did get a bit cheeky with us while we were checking in but I think it was just his British humor. He was totally nice when we checked back in. The only negative would be that the bikes dont come with a lock and chain. If you do decide to ride all day you have to be careful to monitor your bike and never leave it unattended.

Great little bike rental shop, very reasonably priced bikes courteous of groupon . We received excellent customer service offering us baskets and locks if required, gave us advice on where to go. Nice to see a fellow brit doing well here in sunny Venice

I went in and the owner yelled at us stating that he had no more rentals for the day. I understand that he had no more rentals. However, he does not need to yell and degrade his potential customers. His attitude is bad for business.

Was a great place to rent bikes, rode up past Santa Monica pier, and back down again ! the gentleman who was working in the shop kindly gave us a lot of guidance on where to ride, and everything turned out really nicely !

Worst possible service ever! The guy working there couldnt have been any more rude! We had a group of fifteen and bought on Groupon the person attending was yelling at us telling us he didnt have children bikes when he clearly did. We went and paid the $20 elsewhere with better service.

It was ok. The english guy that rented me the bike was cool.

Great place, price. Used a Groupon discount. All day family fun.

People were friendly and there were no hassles. Should get there early to have your choice of bikes.
