So as I was walking in the door there was a lady fussing about how her hair was cut completely uneven on one side and she was very upset and hostile so immediately I felt like this probably wouldnt be the place for me but instead I said I will give it a chance and see if least if I can you know get a good haircut while standing there I question the lady behind the receptionist after the whole altercation was handled I waited patiently to see if how much a mans hair cut would be and the lady replied $27 so I sit there and counted my money I just walked all the way from the Santa Monica Pier to which is really far and then I realized I dont have enough money I only have $24 and some change so I thought to myself maybe if I asked the lady if she does some kind of a discount being that my hair is super long and I am in dire need of a haircut if she would do it for me for that price that I have no we dont give a discount okay Im sorry maam could you spare a couple dollars no we dont do that here okay thats fine maybe I can go see if I got out there and ask my friend or someone outside thats not proper and youre going to have to move soon well I cant have him move if Im getting my haircut cuz shell have to sit out there with the buggy my friend has a cart also with our close suitcases from the airport because we are in flight mode to travel to Hawaii but I am in the process of stopping off in Santa Monica to enjoy the pier and the scenery but the people at Supercuts were intensely rude they basically told me that I could not afford their haircut even though that I was short $2 I could not get a haircut there and that Ill only would be able to get a haircut if I could afford to give the lady a tip because nobody would cut my hair if I didnt have enough to tip them and they wouldnt do it for free I always thought that the haircut included was a payment to these employees and they tip was for their good job and if they did a great job they deserved a tip not before I even get a haircut and be rejected and discriminated because my friend was pushing our luggage and her grocery cart treated like we were some kind of homeless person on the streets I probably will never go back to this place again or ever get a haircut there I ended up going to fantastic sams and they did a fabulous job and listen to every detail that I asked and replied think that Ill go there from now on

Sandra is FANTASTIC! She is highly knowledgeable about all hair types, and will work with you to find out what is best for your hairstyle. They are following COVID-19 protocols, screening customers at the door, sanitizing stations, and cleaning the chairs very well between customers. Overall highly impressed with the services at this location!

Time is of consequence to the staff here. Ça ahead of time they take your name and tell you to come in 30 minutes. Get there and they say 2 people are ahead of you. Wait 40 minutes, and someone who arrived 30 minutes after you get there is taken in, which makes three people go ahead of you. They are a waste of time and do not know how to manage their time and the time of others.

Most affordable place to go for a haircut, nice people at the reception, make you feel like you are entering a 5 star hotel.

Came in as youthful 25 year old woman, left as a disgruntled 45 year old mother of 2.I came in for what I thought would be a simple cut. I asked for a one length, shoulder skimming bob. The first stylist (middle-aged woman with shoulder length hair) failed to introduce herself, hurried me through my explanation of my hair type, and barely talked to me about what I had in mind. This should have been my warning to leave but I figured Its a easy cut? I ended up going from thick mid-back length hair to a bulky chin-lenght mullet (longer in the back, shorter in the front, with an overall football helmet shape). I ended up coming back to get a complementary fix and was cut by Dominique. She was great, she introduced herself and talked with me about what she could do to fix it. Dominique spent longer fixing my hair than the first stylist took cutting it. In the end, I am left with an extremely short chin length bob that still required thinning at home.If you have to come here, only see Dominique. Otherwise, your better off cutting your hair yourself or going elsewhere.

Nice clean place.i want first thing in the morning. I had to wait for like 10 minutes. The hair dresser was very nice and did a good job for a basic haircut on me. Just wished the had razor blade to clean my neck. But the hot towel was good on head and neck.

For my daughters hair colored. All was good except it didnt get rinsed well so her whole neck and back were blue for days. Got a good remedy to remove the coloring from Google, so it was fine but this was a problem.

Got the fastest and best cut of the last couple of years here. Was surprised, since its a very basic, inexpensive place.

Being seen on time can be hit or miss but quality and value are well worth it.

I love the ladies at Supercuts. There is one dude that works there, but I hardly ever see him. Its nice to feel pampered oh, and all of the women here do a great job cutting hair and being women.

Scheduling is a nightmare, I’m told every time there’s no wait when I call ahead— only to wait up to 45 minutes when I arrive at the agreed upon time. The level of skill of the staff varies tremendously and turnover is too high to pick a regular stylist. I never get the same hair cut twice— despite giving the same clear instructions each time.

Scheduling is awful. Last 2 times I’ve gone I called ahead for a mid day appointment, arrived at the correct time, and was then told that it would be a 45 min wait because multiple people were scheduled ahead of me. Terrible experience.

No frills haircut spot for decent cut at a decent price. Call ahead and out your name down to reduce wait time.

Walked in...No appointment...was a little busy and yet I was in and out in about 30 min with exactly what I wanted. It was a day I was running errands so the efficiency was much appreciated. 👍😃

After over 20 years of coming here I had to call it quits and walk out today forever. Customer service continues to decline to the point where I need to find another place to get my hair cut. Too bad... this place used to be great.

Get nice haircut with less money

I havent had great luck with this location in the last year. Ive been four times. The first time, I was satisfied with my haircut; it looked good when I left the salon and it grew out well. The next time, it was all right (though not great) when I left but grew out unevenly. The last two times it was not great when I left and I had a friend touch it up. Ive given up on this location and will be looking to try another location or another chain.

The girl was very nice, I hope she finish her massage therapy school and find another job as a masseuse because she has no skills. As soon as I got out, I went to another barber to fix my hair.

I went in for a haircut and there were spots missed and the lengths were all wrong. Also, my neck was not cleaned up very well and had to fix at home along with the spots I​ could fix on my head and my left ear was also cut. Overall there s good service here but this one time really was not a very good experience.

Im used to $10 haircuts. Reason being it only takes 5 min to do my hair. I spend $30 here but they do a better job.

The posted signage reads, $5 for shampoo, but they charge $8 for the service. I asked her twice, “$8? Yet your sign reads $5!” I took my 90 year old mother there because she was unable to wash her hair at home due to recent surgery. The person then told me the reason for the $8 is because she is getting the “shampoo experience.” In addition to blow dry, they add $3. Total would have been $11 for shampoo and blow dry!? I said no to that.All the staff were dressed in BLACK. Interior “design” black and sleek. Why at a Supercuts? There was one other customer in the shop and the rest of the staff were standing around. There is a good reason why they get no business while the Supercuts at Pico and Sepulveda is packed. I’ll never go to that place again. This should be a MINUS star. Pico and Sepulveda charges $5 for a shampoo and dry. You should not try to rip people off.

Dont know how the haircuts are. I had an appointment. I was ignored, basically, by all three haircutters when I walked in. Finally one reluctantly looked over at me like I was bothering her and asked me if I needed help. I told her I had an appointment. She said fine, I sat down, and she finished the haircut she was doing, and then left out the back door. The other two continued to ignore me, and then a woman came in who had an appointment specifically with one of the two remaining haircutters. The third was still working, slowly, on the guy with no hair. I left. Supercuts needs to hire receptionists. I mean, I had an appointment. I guess appointments are a joke, as is customer service.

Unfortunately my family has tried several stylists from this location, and they all ended badly. I went for a haircut and a color and came out looking awful! I asked for a color consult, and was told that my hair would come out great using the pale blue hair dye I wanted without lifting. What I came home with was not a pale blue, but an aqua tint to my hair.This is the 3rd hair cut I have gotten at this location, and the all ended the same. Misshapen and uneven throughout my head is putting it kindly. All three times I have gone I asked specifically for someone comfortable and good with womens short cuts. Apparently, there is no one capable of cutting hair well unless its a mans cut with clippers. Even that is questionable looking at my husband and two boys.I gave this salon several chances using different stylists, including a manager stylist who is supposed to be better at cuts and colors, but they were all not very good. The saying, you get what you pay for, definitely rings true in this situation. Its just having a large family you try to get the best value as well. I will not try again.The experience with this salon also included a couple of cuts for my three smaller kids and my husband. The only one who walked away with a semi-decent haircut was my husband. I think he got lucky because 75% of his cut is using the clippers.I truly wish I had good things to say about my visits to this location, or any Supercuts Ive visited for that matter, but Id be reaching. Even the customer service was just OK. I went back the day after my last visit to see if someone could even out my hair, and they wanted me to pay $20 for them to correct their employees bad job! Thats $6 less that what you pay for a haircut there!Lets just end this by saying I wont be returning, and I recommend you dont either. Unless, of course, you are a gambler who likes high risk bets.

Sarah cut my hair beautifully, and assisted me in a consultation from Stephanie & Avida regarding color. Avida was excellent in coloring and weaving my hair. Stephanie was knowledgeable and confident in herself, and the stylists. Stephanie also went over the cost priar, by line item. I havent had a shade this dark in 40 years! My husband & I are delighted with the results. Thank you.

I set an appointment for 3:45 when i got there they said 20-25 min wait, i was already mad. i say there for an hour til i was finally seated and got a mediocre haircut. not worth it
