One of the worst haircut experiences I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect fancy or style just a simple cut. But Even at $30 it’s a rip-off from start to finish not more than 15 minutes and rude. I had a photo of what I wanted to look like and it doesn’t look anything like that. I was constantly asked a scoot down in the chair because it was too tall for her and the chair was not adjustable. And she took the shears to the side of my head without even concentrating on what the length was so between the top and the sides nothing was integrated. This barbershop today was a real sham I strongly recommend avoiding this place like the plague.
Worst hair cut i’ve ever gotten. horrible service. lady was literally just grabbing pieces of my hair and chopping it away. very forcefully too. she would bang the scissors into my head
Lady who cut my hair was very nice. Haircut was above average as well.Take cash, there are no debit or credit card readers
No wait time in the morning last two times I visited. Friendly, quick, with character.
Great place for a good haircut. The shop had a very cool vibe and owners are very friendly. Place is cash only so please keep that in mind. Thanks
Convenient location, awesome atmosphere. Thanks Vic!
Personally place. You feel like home
I have been going to this barbershop for about a year now and really have a great experience when there open. I have found that there times both on yelp and on there hard copy at there shop our incorrect and inconsistent. They close early, open late and would rather get a guarantied haircut thats worse then wasting my time going to a barbershop that arent open but say they are. The reason I give them a three star is because that I enjoy going there and talking to Victor and June ( the barbers ) but am sick and tired of them not being there when they say they will.
I can’t just get my hair cut anywhere. That is why i had to look for professionals and here they are. Offering great hair cuts.
Asked for a skin high fade got a high and tight, but she did make it look good
Vic and Joon are the best. Awesome cuts great prices. Old school barber shop
This is Santa Monica history in an otherwise quaint but completely gentrified Montana Ave. section of one of the great cities in the world. And, you get a great haircut.
Worst customer service I’ve ever had. The ‘lady’ threw the hair over me when she pulled the cape, she didn’t apologize or say a single word. Rude attitude, impolite staff and poor service. The low price doesn’t allow you to treat your customers that bad, they should know that.
Great barber shop. Visited Saturday didnt have to wait and were cool with me having to come back after with cash.
Oldskool original shop with a true Santa Monica native proprietor. Vic delivers the barber shop experience with the historical pictures on the walls to the barber chairs and motifs. Vics conversation is one of every topic under the sun. Free donuts on the weekends. Oh and ifn ya need an early cut, he opens up at 6:30am, Wed thru Sun!
Good haircut by a local guy who has been doing this for a long time. Dont expect Vidal Sassoon.
Old fashioned barber with a charming interior and efficient service.
Well... being from Atlanta, i was nervous going to a new Barber Shop. I called, Vick answered, he was availabe, DONE !Perfect hair cut, great conversation, quaint old school atmosphere !100 out of 100+ on my scale !Cheers!
Vic is great! He knows his way around a pair of scissors!!
Best old barber shop!
Great barber shop for a quick cut, good price and good cut. $23.
The asian lady who cut my hair did not seem to know what she was doing. Totally uneven, cut way to short. nightmare. I had to go to another barber shop to have it fixed.
Vik is a great barber.
A true Santa Monica staple. I go nowhere else for my #3 blend and light trim up top!
Best haircut ever.
