I used to go there regularly since it is within walking distance from my work. I’m not picky about cuts and never walked out dissatisfied with the trim, they are just overpriced so I just started going elsewhere. Today I stopped by for my first cut since the pandemic started and there was one customer there with three barbers and they wouldn’t serve me because I didn’t have an appointment. I’m done with this place.

For your hair to look flawless, the barbers at this Barbershop use an incredible amount of precision. They are really laid-back and make sure that every step of the cut is just as you want it. And its what youd expect from a great barber with a great haircut price. Well return, and Ill tell everyone I know about the venue!

Barbers at oeste seemed to be friendly at first. But they completely messed up my hair and did not cut my hair as requested. Instead of a fade he shaved the entire side of my head off. I drove back all the way for him to fix it and figured id get a beard trim for spending 15 minutes driving. Charged me $50! And I had tipped him originally as well

We proceeded to stack hands on a plan for my haircut and beard trim and before long we were immersed in conversation while Ben asserted his tact and dexterity behind the clippers.Both his attention to detail and acute intuition remained a staple throughout the experience.As if he was a tactician, Ben made stylistic decisions with reference to my facial structure and head shape which resulted in an exceptionally balanced and free-flowing cut. His skillset translated well over to the straight blade, which he wielded to edge my beard up after employing a warm towel to massage my face. Im convinced that Ben didnt overlook a single strand on his way to crafting the most intentional hair styling Ive ever received.Between the shop aesthetic, authentic culture, and focused customer service (humidifier, shoulder massage, complimentary drink), I recommend Oeste on Main to anybody driven by quality.Its clear for me to see how this firm, grass-roots business has flourished.

Ive been going to this shop for over a year now. Its hard to find someone solid who can consistently cut my hair just right. Jasu is my man! Just had him cut my hair for my wedding and he was careful to take his time and make sure we got it right. Clean shop. Good conversation. They offer you a drink when you come in and they have sports playing on the TV. Its always a pleasure.

Best barbers in the whole country.I’m traveling a lot and had many haircuts around the states but this place is just way above all of them. I’d always come back to Oeste and recommend to everyone.

What a great experience. We walked in as a wedding party looking to get cleaned up. Waited just a few minutes. Each barber gave us plenty of attention. Are definitely professionals. Excellent prices. Will be back for sure.

This was really great barbershop! Guys know how to cut hair and it’s a nice classic barber shop environment. Dirty jokes and clean fades, beer in the fridge.... ButThey recently partnered with Mr. Cartoon and with that came a HUGE price increase from $35 to $55, nearly 60% increase overnight. That’s too much for a cut. May as well start calling it a salon now.I wish them the best of luck in the new partnership but I won’t be back. Thanks Ben!

Walked in to get cleaned up before my brother-in-law’s wedding. Great environment! Jasu welcomed me with a smile and a bourbon. His attention to detail and professionalism was unmatched. The shave was the best I’ve had. Amazing prices for the service. Just remember, cash only!

Great barber shop. Friendly, efficient, and they know their stuff. Frankie was awesome, and I was always confident he was going to do a great job. Cheaper than a lot of others in the area as well. Good coffee shop across the road too.

Relaxing. Friendly. Best shave I ever had. Ron did his best and yes it is a form of art. Other clients seemed just as happy and satisfied. Definitely the only place to go. :-)

Great shop, they always get you cleaned up. No shortcuts, no stray hairs. It might be a little pricier than the standard barber cut, but theyre cheaper than other mens cuts in Santa Monica and do a better job. Enjoy a beer or a shot while youre hanging out. Where else you gonna get a free drink with your cut?

This place is awesome! Best place for a mens hair cut. They take their time ensuring your hair is cut properly. They were super nice as well.

This is definitely a good spot for a cut. Everyone is super friendly. Ask for Adrian or Martin. Theyre pro at hooking up a fade and shaping a fro. Its more expensive here than at Legends ($45 vs $35), but they do good work.

Went yesterday for the first time. The reviews dont lie, this is a 5 star barbershop. Great cut and nice clean up with the straight razor. I will definitely be back.

Was on vacation from Australia and needed a barber. I randomly came across this barber shop just walking by and boy it blew me away!I was lucky enough to have the owner cut my hair and he was amazing!! Attention to detail was awesome! I was staying in Santa Monica for vacation and needed to get my hair and beard cleaned up a bit. I stumbled across this shop close to my hotel, and I’m really glad I did. Art did an outstanding job. His level of detail and thoroughness is unparalleled to any other barber that I have experienced in my 30 years on this planet. I will go out of my way to come back to this shop anytime that I come back to Southern California. I highly recommend it!

Martine & Art are the dudes!Every time I am in the shop I feel comfortable and have a great time. Theres always a game on and theyll hook you up with a drink.They cut me so fresh I wish I had a beard so I could get that shaped up here too.Ill keep coming back.

Horrible experience! Took my 12 year old, who has been growing his hair for over six months for a trim at the ends, VERY specifically asked for it to be long, showed pictures. Nothing like what was requested, horrible haircut and very short. Very frustrating!!!

Best barber shop in town with the best barbers. ART is the man. Everyone is friendly and place has a great old school barber shop vibe.

Adrian and Art are at it again with another great location great facility and of course great haircuts. Ive been a customer for years and will continue to be especially since my son enjoys as much as I do.

The barbers are competent and nice, but the service is overpriced. They just increased the price for a haircut from $35 to $55 after they started accepting credit cards and online reservations. It is time to look for another barber shop.
