Rony and his team did a great job taking car of my car with very little notice. There was a problem with my water pump and several related parts. I feel like the team went above and beyond to get the parts (driving to dealers across LA) in order to get the car done on time. In spite of the extra work that went into the repair, Rony kept the labor costs at a very reasonable level and didnt charge me for all of the hours that he could have. They provided high quality at a great value. I would use Car Nerds again.

My Kia was having problems and they fit me in right away, then figured out that the problem was much more minor than I initially thought and didnt charge me anything for the fix. They were very courteous. Ill be back!

They gave me back my car filthy grease smudges and marks all over my car on the fabric like chunks of grease it was bad. overall poor experience high pricin didnt honor my discounts that they advertise thru affiliation with the lyft program they no longer with. Although lyft send me there. I wouldnt go back.

They were able to verify which suggested services from our dealerships service center were actually necessary, and do them for an better rate.

I started taking my old Prius to them years ago, and now I take my Ford C-Max Hybrid. They are extremely nice and polite. Ronnie is extremely competent. He ran a dealership service department, and took all that knowledge and talent to open a shop. They are top level guys with plenty experience to back it up. I had an odd noise, and they were willing to take time and every effort to figure it out; not even the Ford dealership could figure it out. I highly recommend them; make sure to ask for Ronnie.

This is one of the best auto repair shops Ive ever been to. They know exactly what they are doing when it comes engines, batteries and steering problems, even on a 2008 Ford Hybrid, which theyve helped me keep running for years.Most importantly, the person to person interaction from business to customer is friendly and efficient. I have been a loyal fan of Car Nerds since they first opened. Roni and his staff are extremely knowledgeable about hybrid vehicles. Even though my new car is still under warranty, I always take my car here first - mainly because they are honest and I know that whatever the issue is, they will give me the 411 without the upsell. I went to Carnerds because they had a high rating and come to find out it is well deserved. My 08 Prius had many warning lights on the dashboard and i had been quoted several hundred dollars at a different place but CarNerds did a diagnostic and were able to fix it and clear the fault codes without them returning and i was only charged the hourly diagnostic rate, I commend them for their honesty. Also, the quoted time to repair was very accurate. Thank You CarNerds, i will be recommending you to friends and family.

These guys are so honest. I brought my car in for brake, rotors, and a brake fluid check, and they told me I was good for another 6 months! Who does that?! It didnt cost me one cent.Their services are also decently priced. I highly, highly recommend Car Nerds. I will start bringing my car there for service instead of my dealership.

I had what I thought was a major problem with my engine. Car Nerds took care of me in no time, and since it actually turned out to be a small fix, they did it for free. Very generous. They also were willing to keep my car a couple extra days, since they fixed it so quickly and I was still out of town when they were finished.

Professional, trustworthy and GREAT service. Best experience with a mechanic ever! My cars AC compressor went out and I drive for Lyft so I HAD to fix it ASAP. He got it fixed super fast and found me the part I needed for a great price! The AC is ice cold now and I get to keep making a living without having to deal with anyone trying to take advantage of me.

Gil is a very nice guy, knowledgeable and professional. He took care of my bmw 328i very nicely. Excellent work done for my 100,000 mile maintenance. Also fixed my leaking oil housing gasket. Definitely recommend for BMW owners.

Hybrid brike down. They replaced the battery I just replaced. Leave with new battery. Car breaks down again. Car sits at their shop for over a month. I eventually pick it up. 35 minutes after, car breaks down again. I call to say Im bringing it back. They said dont bother.... Thanks.

These are the most trustworthy mechanics Ive had in my 20-plus years of owning a vehicle--and Im extremely discerning (even more than I am with dentists). I live in Hollywood but travel to Santa Monica (and take a Lyft back if I leave my car overnight) just for their excellent service and affordable prices. My understanding is that they were started by a former Toyota dealership mechanic who found the dealership to be overcharging, so he decided to start his own place where he could offer specialized knowledge for reasonable prices. I currently own a Prius, but Id bring any make of car here.One of the things I most appreciate is that they will talk to you about which repairs need to be done urgently - or are necessary for long-term health of the vehicle - and those that you can get by without addressing if your car is older and you simply cannot afford to fix every minor issue that inevitably ails an aging vehicle. That earns my trust. The last time I was there, they threw in wiper blades for free, given that Id hair a fair number of repairs done. But this isnt a place where you need to bargain for freebies or lower prices (which Ive done pretty much everything other place Ive taken my car) - the prices they give you are incredibly fair and you will come away with your moneys worth. Just dont miss the turn into the lot - if you think youre seeing it, you are.

My Prius wasn’t starting, I’ve tow that to CAR NERDS, so them told me that the hybrid battery was dead and ask me $3,000 to replace that and offered $500 to buy my car. I refused the offer and took the car to HYBRID AUTOTECH shop that solved the problem in 5 minutes for nothing!! It was just the hybrid battery SERVICE PLUG misfit!! Thank you guys for make me find the HYBRID AUTOTEC!!!
