Everyone was so helpful and friendly! AQ did a fantastic job taking his time to explain everything about the vehicle to me. I never felt rushed and he expressed his appreciation many times for using OCTANE. I would recommend anyone using AQ and this dealership . Two attempts at repairing a cooling issue on a 2004 Buick Rendezvous. And now $1k later it is still overheating. They also seem to have an issue linking to their internet service scheduling from their own website

Update from owner responseI brought the alignment issue up to the service manager today when he proved to me that the truck was still out of alignment from the previous alignment. I told the manager that I will take it to the guy that used to work at discount tire who specializes in High lift vehicles. I’ve never had a problem with alignments done there. No striving was going on from staff. No comments or concerns about octane Buick service Center making it right.They did what I asked and I let them know I wouldn’t be back. I let him know to not take my complaint personally but I’m very disappointed in this business.Your response comes across professional and well thought out however very misleading. Small businesses make sure their customers are happy. They don’t make excuses for charging customers $16 for rubber gloves that cost $4 for a box of 100.Your service center is using a Rubber glove excuse to make $16 profit with a hidden charges fee.I Purchased my truck from you for $40,000 in 18 and your sorry to lose that customer over $16 and a one hour alignment?Smart!I recommend if you are one that strives to be at the top of your field that you are personally inside your service center every day so your reviews start changing. I have been happy with the truck and have had only octane Buick service the vehicle for maintenance. I had them do an alignment on the vehicle in 2020. I noticed after I received the truck back that the steering wheel was not aligned. To avoid any back-and-forth with the service station I let it go. Today I had my oil changed and they reference that the vehicle was out of alignment. I told them the day that you guys did the alignment last I wasn’t happy with the fact that my steering wheel was not straight. The gentleman asked if I had mentioned this to anyone. And I stated I had not. Because I did not want to argue with anyone in the service department. I am fine with this place doing general maintenance like changing air filters and doing oil changes. However I would not recommend anything other than simple maintenance be serviced at this location. When I received my bill today I noticed the 8 dollar charges That did not reference anything. When I asked about the charges they said that’s for trash refusal and gloves. I asked them you charge me for each service eight dollars for gloves. And they said that’s how we do these charges. I have owned businesses my whole life and I’ve been running one of the top businesses in my field in New Mexico for eight years. In the world of small business these eight dollar charges are what we call nickel and diming the customer. The professionalism of the service technicians and management seem to be on par. However I will not give this business any of my money from now on due to the fact that they verbally told me they are charging me $16 for rubber gloves and that I can’t trust them to be able to do an alignment correctly

Didn’t think it was possible to get a 5 star experience from a car dealership. Had been discussing buying a car for awhile and did a little shopping around town over the last couple weeks with little luck. Decided I was interested in a Buick so on a whim as our last stop of the day we stopped by Octane Buick. My partner had bought a used car from there a couple years before and had a great experience. From the moment we walked in it was super friendly and chill. AQ was a great salesman. Patient and good listener, awesome sense of humor.Good selection of cars. Dealership was pretty busy so to walk in off the street, unsure, and be able to walk out by the end of the day with a new car and hair left on my head really says a lot about the business they are running there!

We have been experiencing dashboard difficulties with our 2018 Buick Encore after a battery was replaced several months ago. No dealership (in Memphis, Albuquerque, or Santa Fe) seems to know what to do about it to fix. I believe Octanes technicians tried their best and verified that the engine, transmission, and other were in good working order, however the OnStar system still does not work as intended, and as it once did.

James provided great service, was very helpful, and helped clarify any questions I had. Even when I had follow-up questions the day after my vehicle purchase, the staff were really great in addressing the questions I had.
Service dept is rude.. when you call its like you are interrupting them.. Oil change comes with purchase? Sort of.. sounds good when youre buying...but the fact is hey really have zero interest in fulfilling this and go out of their way to discourage you from doing so.. the cliche dealership experience Im afraid.
I have a service contract that was purchased with my vehicle. For the past 4 oil changes (about a year and a half) I have told the service team about an issue I am having with the gear shifter. Each time I ask them they say they will order the part or it’s on its way and they will give me a call when it gets here. I have been waiting over a year and it hasn’t been resolved.
A little more on the poor side, I mean its a new car dealer you expect it to be done with the service close to the promised time and professionally done, but it took longer than expected and the next day I noticed some oil dripping on my garage floor I thought I had to take it back because of that, it ended up being that it had oil splash from the service and was not wiped off .

Went to look at a used pickup truck, but decided it was not for me. This company has continued calling me daily, leaving voicemails, emailing. Definitely would NEVER use this company due to what feels like harassment by sales staff.
I purchased a Tacoma from Bernie, he was a great salesman. Bernie had a fantastic attitude, was patient and answered any questions I had. It was the best buying experience for me. The entire staff was helpful and amazing!! If you are shopping for a new or used car I highly recommend them!! Everyone was polite and professional. I purchased a GMC Sierra AT4 and I was relieved it was not a negative experience. Tony and Dennis were very friendly, helpful, and suprisingly honest. There was not haggling or hassle. The process was very streamlined. When we did encounter small issues, (i.e. I was unable to obtain a cashiers check because the sale was agreed on Saturday night, they were closed Sunday, and I came in to pickup the truck Monday), they were still patient, they found solutions, and they carefully explained the process.My only compliant was that they would not honor GMs First Responders program.

I took my new GMC Sierra pick-up in for the first oil change. That part went well. After I got home the truck started billowing huge clouds of white smoke out the tailpipes. I had to leave work and take the truck back in to have it checked out. They left me sitting in the waiting room for two hours and then said it all checked out. This is unacceptable. I run a business and cannot afford to be away from my work for two hours because someone in your organization didnt do their job properly.
Went to dealership twice and the first time I asked car salesman to contact me with a price. He never did..went again a second time and the same car salesman did not seem interested in helping me on the spot.or would not give me numbers. I finally left and purchased in Espanola NM even though I really liked two vehicles at Octane.. salesman ruined two sales due to lack of interest because I purchase one ram 2500 big horn and am in the market for a Chevy colorado

Had a brush guard installed on my 2021 Sierra 1500 AT4. In my opinion, they did a great job on it, I know this kind of work is not easy to do and it takes time. The install price was a little more than I was expecting, but overall I really like the way it looks. Jason did a good job!

This being our first time at Octane, we were very pleased with the service. As my wife and I purchase an average of one vehicle every five years or so, we are not very good at this type of atmosphere. Our salesman James made sure our questions and needs were met and wasnt pushy (for the lack of a better word) during our visit/purchase. Our experience was great.

This is the most unprofessional dealership I’ve ever had dealings with. We found a car that we liked at the dealer in Santa Fe. Called and talked to Edward the “ manager “ had a deal started on the vehicle he calls me back at 5 pm and says someone is buying the vehicle. So basically they sold the car out from under us. We are currently on the road towing our travel trailer. When we hit the Santa Fe area, a service message came on about the integrated trailer braking system on our GMC tow vehicle that we had to address. We were unfamiliar with the area and on a tight schedule to get to Texas for a family event. Octane GMC fit us in last-minute, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and worked with our warranty company to get it resolved in just a matter of 3 days. We were thrilled! And Jason, the service associate we had the pleasure of working with, was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make our experience stress-free and seamless. Wow - thanks, Octane GMC! We have a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 that we bought brand new in early 2005. Over the years, the truck had started to have a few issues. We were in Santa Fe on a camping trip and noticed the truck making a noise every time we put it in reverse. We called the service department at Octane GMC and spoke to Amer. He told us to bring it by. When we arrived, Amer was there waiting for us and called one of his technicians to come out and listen to the truck. Between the two of them, it was diagnosed as bad u joints. Just to be sure, the technician went back in the shop and brought out a device to check and actually crawled under the truck to look. He confirmed the diagnosis. Amer gave us an estimate and also said they would a front to back inspection of the truck because we had told him we wanted it thoroughly checked so that we could begin traveling. When we put it in the shop, we were met by Austin who checked us in and called an Uber to take us back to our campground. Later in the day, Amer called and told us a few other items that needed attention. We agreed to have all the work done and later that afternoon, Austin had an Uber pick us up and then put us in a loaner vehicle. When we picked up the truck, it was running fine, but we didn’t get very far before the check engine light came on. We turned around and went back to the shop. Austin had the technician check us and do an adjustment. We went back to our camp and got our camper and had just pulled onto the 599 loop when we noticed the light had come back on. We pulled over on the 599 loop with our camper hooked up and called Amer. He and the technician came to where we were pulled off on the side of the road and checked it. We went back to the shop, but then decided to bring it back at a later date. When we brought the truck back the following week, Austin and Amer had the truck checked over and determined that the sensor they had replaced was bad and they applied the part warranty and got another one and put on. When we left, the light was off and and has stayed off since. The truck runs great thanks to this great team at Octane.
