Rented a car on Saturday 7/6/19 out of Ontario’s location, waited in line for 75 minutes to get the rental and was then told I should return on Tuesday 7/9/19 at noon instead of 10AM due to the long wait. Arrive on Tuesday at 10:10 to return car and was told everything’s fine I own nothing. On 7/10 a $65.62 charge came on my card, with a receipt stating car returned on 7/10 at 3:39PM. I called Ontario and was told, “we have no idea why you were charged an extra day, please call our cooperate department in Santa Ana to have the charges removed”. Spoke with Molly in Santa Ana who told me the manager is out to lunch and to call back in 30 minutes. On my return call I spoke with Jessica who stated there’s no manager available and she’s not sure when a manager will be in but I should call on Friday at 1PM. Called several times since spoke withJessica and apparently the manager is never available and they have no idea when he/she will be in and only the manager has authority to take off charges. This is customer service at its worst. Both ladies are very ignorant liars and they will go to any limits to steal from customers. The last conversation is the car was return at 10:10 so with the 10 minutes it’s considered an extra day. Please be aware do not let this company tell you they’ll email your receipt get it at the time of return. This is one company you do not want to do business with. They are very unprofessional. One star is too good of a rating.
I returned the car a month ago. And today they charged me over 100 .They told me it was a parking ticket and they charged me another $50 for PROCESSING FEE. They are a shady company. They made their own rule and charged people whatever they want.
I had overall very pleasant experience with Allied Rent A Car. They gave me a new car for a very fair price. Their prices were actually cheaper than other places and their customer service was excellent. I will definitely rent from them again.

I have been going to Allied rent a car for a few years now, and they as good today as they were back then. Their service is the reason why I never purchased my own truck. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL GET SCREWED! First of all the information they sent me via Priceline didnt include any information pertaining to a number to call to be picked up. Then the corporate company gave me a number for a non working cell phone. Then when I got my car the check tire pressure light was on and they glossed over that and forgot to write it on my sheet. So when I returned it I got stuck with a $50 fee to fix the flat when you could take it to any place and get it fixed for free. Oh and the cigarette lighter didnt work so I couldnt use my GPS. I was told that I could try to bring it back but no guarantee of a replacement car. Complete disaster of a company and horrible customer service. Pay the extra $3 for a reputable company.
I warn anybody that comes to this place to be aware they change the prices on you the second day you have the car. I was in San Diego and they demanded that I brought the car back to get me in a cheaper one or there were going to charge me $100 a day for a Kia Soul. Then when I tried to negotiate a fair price with them the girls just last night to I just say
The car I rented was not maintained well at all and was so dirty that I had to pull over and clean the windows from the inside because I couldn’t see. The brakes were bad and it was making noises when driving above 60mph. The service was also terrible, the rental location is 1 desk in the lobby of the Hilton hotel with 1 person working. It was 1 person answering the phones, checking people in, renting cars and moving the cars in the lot. I was renting at night and the person was using the light from their iPhone to look for scratches. The wait time was about 30 mins because I waiting for 1 person to do everything. The return service was even worse. The car that I rented had a gas gauge that kept fluctuating and the rental person even told me so, however they would not let 1/16 of a tank go even though the gauge was moving up and down the whole time. Stay away from the small unprofessional rental location and stick with the bigger names. You will get better and faster service and you will get new cars that are properly maintained.
Literally the most horrendous experience Ive ever had with a company. Nelly and Maria were both awful. They were not helpful and they charge me for a car that I did not even rent. I was not even in Los Angeles at the time! My travel company booked me by mistake even though I went to San Diego, and nobody could cancel the reservation. Allied still charged me for not picking up the car that I did not even get. Also when I tried to cancel they kept directing me back and forth between the travel company and the rental car company. What a nightmare. Run away from this place
I rented a honda civic last week and i got excellent service. I deff recommend them! Their pricing is the lowest I could find and they were super friendly.
The lady who answered at 2:10 pm PST on may 28th 2019 was so rude! she claimed she was the manager and cursed me out on the phone. smh bad service! she needs to be fired!!!!!
I am a local. I booked through Priceline for pickup at Allied/Ecomonys Hilton location near John Wayne (SNA) Airport. All Priceline documentation says unlimited miles - email, reservation on line, text alert, etc. In small fine print on the voluminous terms page, they mention that locals have a 150 mile per day limit. They upped my $20 per day rental car an additional $10 per day to add double miles and still not unlimited. Criminal - additional 50% cost over the eye-catching quote on Priceline. They also have a hidden debit card additional charge of $8.50 per day. I use Fox and other cheap car rentals and they dont have these ridiculous fees. STAY AWAY!
I never leave reviews but this has warranted one. Our flight was delayed in Portland, OR, which meant that we would miss our connection from Sacramento to Ontario, CA. We were told our only option would be to be re-routed to LAX then shuttled over to Ontario. The airline was great.We couldnt get ahold of anyone at the car rental place (Allied) prior to taking off from Portland. In Sacramento, I called up the # Kayak provided and reached Allied. The woman was not at all helpful. I asked if I would be charged a fee if we didnt pick up our car on time, if we would be able to pick up a car the next day, what their number was over there, if she could help us at all since we had to pick up family members who had also flown into Ontario. She said she had no idea what they did at that location and wouldnt call over to get any information.We were SOL and had no idea if wed be charged. Next morning, we saw a charge for a full days rental plus taxes and fees for not picking up our car. We called that morning and that is where it got super fun. My philosophy is to treat all customer service reps with respect since dealing with people on the phone can sometimes be terrible and it is often not their fault if they cant do anything. That is how I operate unless I am in turn not respected, treated with good customer service, or spoken down to.I explained that our travel was out of our hands and that we got extremely poor customer service from the woman the previous night who, if she had given us better direction, we could have called Kayak to cancel the reservation, but she NEVER mentioned that! Because of misinformation from their employee who was also not willing at all to help us, we were charged a fee and we felt that was unfair. They said they would not be able to reverse the charge but were being super vague about it, saying that its just an automatic charge and they cant do anything about it. We asked to speak to a supervisor. We were told to call back the next day to talk to Lan at the Ontario, CA location.We did that. We spoke to her and she was also being super vague about not being able to reverse anything. She was also being super cryptic in that she wouldnt give us her last name so we could document this. We asked to speak to her supervisor. She said we could call the corporate office but wouldnt give us any names of any one person we should talk with.We called the corporate office and spoke with Shereen (sp?) and she was being completely unhelpful and cryptic. She would also not provide us with any last names. So on Christmas Eve, she was unwilling to reverse a charge that we incurred because our flight was delayed and we got some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced from their representatives. She said no one could help us and said her supervisor was Matt (turns out is the CEO). Then she hung up on us. Deplorable. Pathetic. We told all of our family members about it. No one is renting from them.
Professional my ass this place is the worst car rental place in o.c. and dont believe the 5 star ratings those are managers that work their. their trying to look good Gilmer is the worst and most unprofessional person I meet talk about breaking all California driving laws in 1 day yes i cant imagine haveing him drive my family i would pull him over and knock some sense in his uneducated disrespectful and the most gudgemental jesus freak I meet and can u believe he trys to listen to jesus music jesus teaches u to be a hypocrite and a lier because thats what he displays by breaking laws and disrespectful driving by passing cars with families in it at 100 mph thats how fast this company is gonna go down with this character in control i cant believe this company has somebody like this run their company if hes the face of your company I feel sorry for u all. their cars are dirty stinky like if they rent them out to anybody who in return vomit and leave dirty stains all over the vehicle and they have lazy washers who just sprinkle a lil water and send it off with the next vomit candidate thier cars have to serously be serviced all their vehicles feel like their not even gonna get u from point a to point b safe this company and their drivers have no respect for the law and for the people of California so dont ever rent from this place or you as well have no respect for California and its laws they are there for a reason to keep people safe and this allied company can care less for safety all they care about is your credit card number lets keep companys who care about California and familys safety in business unlike this company and its staff who display carelessness they need to go out of business .
I thought I made a reservation to rent a convertible camaro. They took my credit card info and everything. I called back a week later to confirm, but they didnt have my reservation and they dont even own a convertible camaro!
We call the number and wait on the phone for 30 min. They tell us they have an suv available so we go to get and the place is completely shut down! They are NOT open till 8 on Fridays.
The truck barely worked, they gave us the truck without any gas then harassed us when we turned it back in fuller than we brought it back. They put the wrong time on the pickup and then overcharged us when we returned. DO NOT rent from this location unless you want to get ripped off.

The WORST customer service I have ever experience from a rental car company. First they didnt have the car I reserved, so I had to wait in the office for over an hour until a similar car came in. The staff are short, not helpful and the cars substandard. I would never rent from this company again and do not recommend it!
