This place has so much potential. They have so much to do, or they should have. Unfortunately half the equipment is usually broken or unavailable.The locker rooms are usually filthy, especially The family changing room. The steam room and sauna never work and the employees are miserable most of the time. Ive been a member for 7 years and Im sorry to say this is the end for me. The ridiculous covid rules....like no soap allowed in the showers is the final straw for me.

I love to go swimming 3 days a week. Everyone is do friendly ☺️

Showers in locker rooms,2 Fitness rooms,sauna,steam room,Gymnasium and pool are awesome!

From my daughter being on the Bettas swim team years ago to its place as our Fitness Center now, we have always felt at home at the Northern Berkshire Y. It might be a tad dated by modern standards but it fits our needs perfectly. Great place to take the grandkids swimming when they are driving us crazy!

Place has nice staff an is really good for Muscle Muscle Heads who like that dungeon feel who wanna get big or workout but THIS YMCA needs better/ newer workout equipment an I dont mean Cardio machines! Place has been using old workout machines from 30 40 years ago! If you purchased some new machines an accessories for Gym goers more people would go here!

The building is a bit old and past its prime with a leaky ceiling in the fitness center, but the fitness center has most everything a more serious gym user would need including a good assortment of free weights and machines. Cardio equipment was recently replaced and each has a TV monitor hooked up to cable. Pretty much never crowded either and staff is super friendly.
