There really bad she cut me then the nails won’t even there not the shape that I wanted was in there for two hours waiting

I decided that I would like a mani & pedi today and came to Dans without an appointment. Luckily, I was seen right away. It was early in the day. Maria did my pedi. She was so kind and friendly! She wanted me to be sure I enjoyed my time. She didnt rush my pedi and she truly made me feel like an important customer. We talked about a bunch of things and she even gave me great advice! I felt like more of an old friend than a stranger. She took great care of me and my little toes. ;)Steve did my manicure and fixed one of my broken nails with a tip. He also made me feel like I was important and he did not rush. The hand/wrist massage was very good and much needed.Ive been to many local salons in my 20+ years living here in Sanford and today was my first time at Dans. Im regret that I didnt try them earlier.I prefer posting great reviews, so thats why Ive not left negative feedback elsewhere. Dans Nails was a super hit for me today. I love it!!!! My nails are beautiful!!! The technicians are kind and the Queen of Pedicure is Awesome!!! I am telling you if you’re going anywhere else CHANGE YOUR MIND!!!! Went in and needed a nail emergency!!!! I went to another salon locally who did a terrible job and he re did them!! Im so happy they look great!! Fun environment and good conversation!!!

This was my first time coming to Dans and in my 17 years of going to nail salons they’re definitely top 3! They’re all super friendly and kind and they make you feel so pampered. My only issue is with the lady that painted my nails. Most of the nails didn’t have paint to the cuticle so it looks like they’ve been done for about a week and one nail is lumpy another is crooked. But stuff happens. I’ll definitely be returning, everyone deserves a second chance!

I was left standing at the door that was locked by the way. Not once did anyone come let me in or asked if I needed help. Two people came five minutes later and was let in the salon so I followed in behind them and they was giving service right away and I was still overlooked. So I spoke up and said I would like a full set. But was told I have to wait till the other two people that arrived after me was done. When it was clear that I was there before them. It was only two ladies working and they both was very rude and very Unprofessional. I will not be going back and I will not recommend this place to anyone. So I asked the lady how long will I have to wait and with an attitude she responded I dont know any other time they will tell you wait 30 minutes or how ever long. Never again. If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would.

Very nice & friendly staff, clean salon, did exactly what I asked for & prices were better than most of the other nail salons in town. Gave it 4 Stars because the lady that waxed/tweezed my brows just would not do what I asked. Idk if she wasnt understanding because of the language barrier or if she just didnt know what I was wanting done exactly.. but I tried 3 diff times with 3 diff explanations of what I wanted done, but she never got it. So I just gave up & finished it myself at home. I honestly think that I would have been better off just doing my brows at home with my tweezers. Although it was only $7, I couldve done a better job at home for free. (JBH!) 1st time going & I will definitely be going back!

I love how the owner catered to my elderly mother and was very gentle with her when providing pedicure/manicure services! Ask for Tina!

My wife has been to three nail salons since we have been in the area and absolutely loved the place and her experience, hand sanitation at the front door then they have you wash your hands and check your temperature the nails she received were in her words perfectly done my pedicure was very gentle as I asked for being a dietabetic.

The prettiest set ! They make sure the nails are exactly what you want and they don’t rush through them they take their time to make sure the nails are even and nice ! I definitely recommend the ombré they’re so beautiful!

I don’t know where you’ll find 40$ for ombré. Dan is AMAZING at what he does. I wouldn’t trust no one else!

I had been here before and wanted to use there services again but drove from a hour away cause they said they was open on Sundays and to show up and no they are closed

I went to Dan’s Nails for a fill in and paint. Service was quick, male was nice, but female was rude. I asked for a round shape and they’re crooked. On one hand, the nails are longer than the other. They are very lumpy and one nail has something stuck on it from the paint. The female saw it and painted over it twice anyway. The polish was already chipping by the time I got home and is continuing to do so 2 days later. The acrylic was on the sides of my fingers and I had to cut it off myself. One of my fingers was knicked but it was wiped off like nothing happened. Will definitely not be returning.

My initial visit and thoughts (can’t comment on longevity of the pedicure yet). I love that this place is open on Sunday. It’s nice that it has a Facebook page too. The service was very nice, although it was a little slow, it is the holidays and I only saw 2 people working, so it was understandable.The only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is that the inside of this salon smelled very strongly of chemicals 😷 Which made me a little nauseous personally.They had the football game on, and the massage chairs were working, overall I still liked my experience a lot.

Steve and Tina have been doing my nails sense nail x 2. When they open there on place it was just like they never skip a beat. I’m always please with the quality of work they do. They are just not my nail techs. They are family. Dans nail is the place to go. Love them so much!!!

Dans nails is the best nail salon I have been to yet! My mom and I came in august of 2016 and have been in love since then!! The service is amazing and the workers are to die for! They treat each and everyone of their customers with the greatest respect. There is no where else I would rather go!

My experience each time I come from another state to have my pedicure is always the best at Dans nails! Steve and Tina always go above and beyond to make me feel so important. I will never go back to this place not even a day later the acrylic started chipping off when I called to tell him he said they was fine not only that I get the gel powder n he put regular acrylic on my nails not only that he was not professional asking if I needed a boyfriend that he would be asking my niece if he could be her baby daddy this place was a VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

I have been getting my nails done since I moved to NC and the service is excellent. Fast and friendly staff who cares about their customers and treat them as family. My nails are always done to perfection. My eyebrows are always on perfect. I’m always getting complimented about my nails and toes as well as my eyebrows. I love telling people about Dan’s Nails and live sending people to them. My daughter comes from Maryland to get hers done. My son is always getting pedicures and eyebrows arched.I recommend them 100%

I wish I had a better experience ... I went in on a Monday for a manicure and pedicure and the woman (wife) had such an Attitude while doing my nails and when she filed my nails they were crooked . When I told her politely might I add she gotUp and just walked away and her husband had to come fix it the nails utilized were so darn cheap they broke after one week ! I have never had any gel nails break in half ! I’m so very disappointed the eyebrow wax was good but even then she was rough as hell... I am so saddened by this experience.

So today i came to dans which I usually go 2 another nail place and I ask for coffin nails but instead of coffin my nail are different size and some longer than the other the lady didnt paint them all the way down and i have another color on my nail and she tried to paint over It twice to cover it. But it didnt work so yeah I would not send nobody to dans they are terrible

I’m here every two weeks to get my nails done. Steve and Tina are both amazing! They are so sweet! I also get pedicures and my eyes brows waxed here. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I decided to get my nails services at this salon because of their hours of operation because I get off at 7pm which is literally 3 min down the road. So I walked in the salon to get serviced and one of the workers said that they were closed, yet the hours on the door and google states 8. It was such an inconvenience and I was very upset because I am visiting this area and I am working everyday from 7a-7p for 3 weeks so I don’t have the extra time in my schedule for the inconvenience I feel as if it was unprofessional.

The service was good, didn’t have to wait long at all. But the finish product was absolutely disappointing. I will NOT be returning here. I’d give 0 stars if i could. Very very disappointed.

I will Never go Back!! I went to get gel nails. Ive gotten gel nails at OTHER places that lasted over 3 weeks. I couldnt get them off. The gel nails I received at Dans Nails lasted 2 HOURS, 2 HOURS!!! They started peeling off. I could not believe it. I called them and they told me to come next day to get fixed. I was going out of town and could not. BIG WASTE OF TIME AND $$$$

This is the only place I Come to get my nails done for the last 2 years. Steve is amazing at doing nails. Never had any Problem getting my nails fixed when i messed them up. The Atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Honestly one of the worst nail places I have been. The lady was so rushed and took no time on my nails. I got a gel manicure and she didnt do my cuticles, no lotion, and the gel is SO thick on my nails. Every fingernail is uneven and polish is all over my cuticles. I know it wont last more than just a few days. Very sloppy and definitely not worth the money I paid. Also, the lady took off the gel polish I had on before with the electric file. I get gel manicures every two weeks, and any decent nail salon should know that you dont use an electric file to remove gel polish. The lady who did my nails was also on the phone the entire time so I couldnt even tell her my feedback as she was giving my manicure**update -- After looking at them even more when I got back in my car, one of my nails is already cracked because of how thick the polish is. I went back in and explained what had happened and they refused to give me a refund. Said they do not do refunds and blamed it on the color I picked. NEVER go to this salon.

I have been going to Dans Nails since they opened. I moved away for a few years and hated every where I went. They are so friendly and really listen to what you want done and they do it. Any time I have broken a nail it needed a quick fill they make time for me! Love everyone in there!

I got an acrylic set done and almost half of them were crooked and the front half was not even attached to the nail plate! That is a massive gateway for mold, bacteria, and infection to build up! That will make people get very sick and have fungal infections begin! Will not be going back! Not worth the $40.

Just had my first visit today! Nice people Fast service! Nails looked great at first glance but thumb nail was a little lumpy! They lasted only 1 1/2 week! But I was willing to give them a second chance.Had my second visit yesterday to get all nails removed! I was the only person in salon .Not only did He nick me causing fingers to bleed in two different spots he also forgot to put a top coat of gel on second hand. Having to go back the next day to get my nails finished . Although they fixed my nails .They were rude an brief about doing so.

I am very sad to be writing this review. This place was very close to my home and I loved the girl who did pedicures (Maria). However, last time I went in - to get a full set because of a concert & upcoming vacation, the experience was horrible. First, it took well over two hours with an appointment. First i wanted matte black, which I was told would cost more - no problem, it’s what I wanted. Well, I walked out with three nails looking terrible and that I could come back tomorrow to fix? The timeframe he gave me didn’t work with my events. So, the next day a nail broke so I felt like I HAD to go back on Monday. Monday I walked in and spent 1.5 hours getting 4 nails fixed. Left with them still looking messed up. I left for vacation and while on vacation 5 nails broke or fell off - ending in the results of me having to take them off. So, I tried calling. Their child answered the phone and then hung up when I asked to speak to management. I have called now 4x and now no one answers. I’m assuming they’re avoiding me because they know I’m unhappy with the services. Will post pictures if I can on a review.

A very nice pedicure, the first Ive had where the leg massage wasnt too vigorous. When I told the lady that I have a tender spot on my leg, she really listened. I will go back.

Piss pour nail studioI slipped in on my day off so excited to get a pedicure around 12: 30 on a Thursday and I was made to like a bother the the male and female working in the salon after they tag teams my feet and not speaking but one word to me at the end I noticed the Polish all on my skin when I asked if they could clean it up the man comes over with an attitude does a piss-poor job at cleaning up my toes it just really upsets me that Im left paying for a service that looks like a 10 year old girl painted my toes They simply did not care and thats upsetting

DANS nails is the place I ALWAYS go to for my pedicure and nail needs. They also do eyebrows. Everyone that works there is very nice and treat every customer as a lifetime customer. I enjoy my time at dans nails and feel comfortable there. It is very clean and welcoming establishment. I have been going to DANs for a long time and will continue to. I highly recommend going to Dans to everyone. They so a five star job no matter what you are getting done!

I’m not sure if I went on an “off” day but I had probably the worst set of gels. I’ve never gotten gel before and I wanted to try it out. They looked really good when I left but as days went on I noticed things that I didn’t like about them and how quickly it happened. They rose up so high after the first couple of days.. they weren’t on my nail all the way, they were lopsided and wayyyyy too thick. It looked as if underneath the nail wasn’t wiped all the way. It was just horrible. My feet didn’t look any better. The polish was not coated all the way.. a couple more layers would have done the job. They started to peel 3 days after. All around it was horrible. Maybe I’ll try again. I heard this was the best nail place to go and I was highly disappointed.

I always and only get my nails done at Dans nails. Steve and Tina are the best at gettibg nails done the way you desire. Ive been a customer for 5 years. They can look at a picture of nail art and get it done perfectly. They are experienced and can do anything you request to your nails. They are very friendly and I always look forward to seeing them. #ILOVEDANSNAILS#

First time. Id broken my toe about six months ago and had been diy my feet. In town for business and decided to stop in. Very nice staff and owner Steve was very pleasant.

Today was my first visit, and I was happily surprised to be attended to right away. I went in for a gel mani and admittedly my nails are short, so there’s a little bit of lacquer on my skin. There are a couple of places where it’s a little bumpy, but I’ll be back for the value.
