The salon is clean and airy, with beautiful iridescent pedi bowls. Linh made me feel at ease and gave me the best pedicure Ive ever had. I had a tangerine scrub, a paraffin treatment, and a hot stone massage! My toes look great, and I feel so pampered. Looking forward to my next pedi with Linh! 😁

I highly recommend Bobcat Nails!! It has to be the best nail salon in San Marcos. Linh is one of the best nail techs Ive ever had; she took care of me and my dad expertly by herself. Definitely go there for full sets or pedicures!!

Linh is my favorite nail tech of all time. She always pushes me to try new designs and she is quick and efficient. My nails always look fantastic and I have referred many people to her. She is more concerned with quality and longevity than anything else, which I appreciate.

The receptionist may have given me a funny look when I dropped my bobcat off to have her nails done, but from there on out the service was top notch! Will definitely be returning as this is so much safer than doing her nails at the house (well for me anyway). Would like to know more about spa services for bobcats as she gets pretty ornery in early winter. A little TLC might be just the trick. Thanks again!

It is not easy finding a good nail tech. I have had the extreme pleasure of going to BobCat Nails (the owner Linh) for almost 6 years now. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I live 30 miles (1-way) from San Marcos but it is worth the trip to go to the best. Have horror tales about other salons, that is why it is so worth it to go to the best. Linh is ALWAYS professional, courteous and does a fantastic job. I highly recommentd.

Theyre okay. Better than all of the other nails salons here in town. If you have a place in your home town just go there. S.A. has much better, I just drive into town every two weeks!

Just had a shellac manicure at Bobcat Nails & Spa. Ive been going there for awhile now & love this salon! I feel so comfortable & appreciated there. Lynh does my nails so well that I can go 4 weeks (my nails grow very slowly) without a break or any other problem. She works quickly which I like!!! The prices are very reasonable. Great place! Try it!!!!!

This is the very best place in town to get your nails done, ladies! Unlike my other visits to salons in SM, the salon owner, Linh, was extremely thorough and made sure my nails were perfect. One of my new favorite spots to get my nails done by far. Lynn and Kathryn are so sweet! This is a great place to sit, chat and drink some wine with new friends. I can bring in any picture and Lynn can recreate it for me with her nail art skills. I am a dental assistant and I wash my hands A LOT and am amazed at how long my gels stay till I have to come in for another gel polish. I would recommend either coming in early or calling before because these ladies are good and book up fast.

Great local shop! Best in town! Amazing prices. The people here treat you like family. They have tons of nail colors and options to choose from. Way more choices and services than anyone in town. I got dip powder nails and they were beautiful for weeks! Longer than anyone else I’ve ever been to. They stayed super strong too. No broken nails, no retouches, just perfect.

I have been getting dip (aka SNS) nails consistently for almost 10 years and solar before that. When I find a good nail tech I stick to them. I‘ve had 3 ladies who were good, but Linh has by far been the best. She is extremely thorough and wants her clients to be completely happy. My nails last longer than ever since she started doing them a year ago. And a bonus is she is efficient without being sloppy! Her pedicures are a must too! Try Linh out and you won’t regret it!

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in this nail salon. I just moved to San Marcos and rely heavily on online reviews. This place had the best reviews so I was very excited and had high expectations. When I arrived a man was ushered in from the back to do my nails and the man the ENTIRE TIME did not speak one word to me, which from my opinion isnt very good customer service. He cut my finger with the file and was very rushed and rough during the service, which I told him multiple times and asked him to be more gentle. He did a very spotty job on my cuticles and the paint job was mediocre. The part that really bothered me the most was when I asked him the price of my gel manicure ($30, which I believe is very expensive) he then proceeded to charge me for $35. I told him that he had charged me $5 extra and he insisted that I just put my pin in to run the card without answering my question on the extra $5. I refused and told him that he told me it was $30 and then he proceeded to tell me that the $5 was for his gratuity, which I did NOT tell him to do. When getting my nails done I tend to add 30%-40% for gratuity and planned on tipping him well but the fact that he did a spotty job and then tried to ring out his own tip without my permission left me extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this nail salon.

The last two times Ive been, its been my best experience at a nail salon in San Marcos, maybe ever. I see Tammy. She is professional and kind. Top notch work and I love the atmosphere.

Ive been to Bobcat Nails three times and each time has been great! Ive had a pedicure there and acrylic nails put on. Staff is very attentive and friendly. They offered complimentary wine and never tried to pressure me into getting more done that I didnt come in for. Its in a good location, kind of tucked away from the main hub of San Marcos. It is small though, so you risk having to wait during peak times, but its worth it.

Its been about 8 years since I have had my nails done and i want to get in a routine to continue to have them done. finding a nail salon has been difficult. THIS NAIL SALON IS AMAZING!! They did a wonderful job and didnt rush me at all. I will continue to go back!

Love this place! Theyre always SUPER friendly and know exactly what you want! Ive been coming here since they opened, had a minor issue once, told the owner and ever since havent had any issues. I love the fact everyone there is willing to work with you. You just have to talk to them directly and theyll fix anything. Appointments are highly suggested to get in. Theyre awesome so they stay booked. Walk ins are welcome its just a little more difficult (Ive made this mistake before). My nails stay fabulous!! The jelly pedi is amazing and dipping powder nails! If you love your eyebrows and lips done, they use chocolate flavored wax, SO relaxing!

Love love love!!!! Great quality, got the unicorn acrylic nails done and they last a long time. Theyre gentle when removing the nails unlike other salons who just rip the nail off along with the rest of your nails.

Ive been to this place 5 times, and each time the service got worse and worse. The first two times I went for a pedicure and they kept pushing me to get a different, more expensive one, even after I kept saying I only wanted a basic pedicure. The next time I went for a full set of acrylics and the nail tech was impatient and did not get the acrylic anywhere near my cuticles, so it looked like they were already a week grown out right after I had them done. The fourth time I went in, the nail tech kept commenting on how her feelings were hurt that I didnt remember she had done my nails the previous time; it was really uncomfortable. The fifth time I went in was the worst. I called beforehand to see how much it would be to fill my acrylics while bringing my own gel polish. On the phone I was told it would be $25. When I got there, the nail tech literally raised her voice to me, rolled her eyes at me, and basically yelled at me that it would be the same price as a full set ($45) and that I shouldnt be wasting my money on my own polish. I told her what I was told over the phone, but she rolled her eyes at me again and continued to raise her voice saying the same things over and over. I was on the verge of walking out in the middle of the fill, but decided to just sit through it. When I went to pay, she charged me $37 for the fill (probably because either she was BS-ing me the whole time or she could tell I was not happy).I will never go back to Bobcat Nails and you shouldnt either!!

It was an okay experience. I asked for a Shellac manicure and it was $35 with out tip. To me this seems a little too high as I always get them done at Alpha Nails at the outlets for $40 with better service. The lady who was doing my nails keeped leaving me while she charged and talked to other customers. There was another lady there who stayed with her client the entire time.

Lady was extremely sweet, but my nails turned out crooked and work was extremely sloppy. I asked for a ombré pink to white and it basically looks white. Do not recommend.

I usually love coming here, and I love when the owner does my nails! Except this time she didnt and it was not an enjoyable experience. The other lady rushed through my job, did not fully cover my nails in polish, cut my nails crooked, and when she used the drills, she made the side of my nails bleed. I asked for coffin nails and she told me they dont look good on big hands. I will be returning to see if someone else can fix my nails instead but I only suggest making an appointment with the lady who owns it. Again, I usually enjoy this place but I was left disappointed and just wanted it to be over.

I went here for the first time after Thanksgiving to get the powder dip on my nails. They looked great until I took them off. Two of my nails had fungus on then from their unsanitary tools. I do not recommend unless you want to pay for a doctors visit and antibiotics.

The woman was extremely rude, my nails turned out okay. Definitely not the best though, my friend got a completely different color put on her nails than she asked for. Paid too much for what I got.

My nails and pedi were great and I was going to give them 5 stars until their credit card machine froze, my transaction went through as pending on my account like all of my other transactions but did not show in her credit card reader, and the lady attempted to charge me again... $83.00 is a lot to charge again on my account if your machine is down. Judging by how old the credit card reader was, I would get refunded in 7 Days if she charged it again. What did not help was the woman’s persistance to charge my card after I showed her proof that it came out of my account and that things I bought a week ago are still pending. I called my bank, but it was closed ... I told her that I would come back Monday or call ... and she said “I don’t know.” I told her I would give her my address and she said okay. So I gave her my drivers license and she decided to write my license number down. I told her that I did not give her permission to write my drivers license down... she scratched it out just a little and I said give me the paper and she could write my address down again. She ripped the portion of my paper with my drivers license and aggressively threw it on the pay counter in front of me. I gave her my phone number. There was nothing that I could do about the card reader not working and the attitude did not make it any better ... I will check first thing in the morning to see if the transaction went through and pay if it did not, this review is proof, but I will not be going back again.

I made an appointment with them cause many girls told me to go there. I got seen 20 min after my appointment. I was getting a new set with dip powder and from the start the lady cut my cuticle, I thought ok no big deal it’s just one. But now 8 of my nails are cut and bleeding. By the end, my nails were crooked and jagged, she didn’t smooth them at all and I was done within 30 min. I ended up going to another nail salon to get them fixed and they managed to make my nails look a lot better. Never going back again.

DO NOT GO!I only went bc my regular place was closed on Sundays.After sitting down I saw that the table had 1/2 open bottles of polish, dust everywhere, and just wasn’t very clean in general. So I only went in to have may set taken off. They used a bit that was too big and too granulated and essentially stripped off more than it needed. Several times they cut my skin and then laughed when I jerked away. As they were peeling up my old set, it one wasn’t coming off right away they jammed their own nail under it to pry it up.... I could’ve done that from home?? They were constantly in a rush and half assed the entire thing. Do not go here.

Got the dip nails, there was something wrong with the powder so it looked really bad. They didnt fix it, so I came back the next day and they tried to fix it but it still looked bad. They should have just redone the whole thing but instead I was stuck with ugly nails for two weeks with no refund. The woman doing my nails tried really hard but her boss was not very nice or sympathetic and did nothing to correct the situation

I came here initially because of the great reviews but it is not at all what it is cracked up to be. First off I was overcharged for a fill (I ended up being charged 40 FOR A FILL). They had run out of the color I had on my nails so the woman suggested I do an ombré so I wouldn’t have to get a new set, without informing me that was extra. I wouldn’t be upset if they actually turned out nice but the ombré and shape are seriously so bad. Only went here bc my normal place is closed on Sunday’s and I cracked a nail.

The quality of my manicure was fine, but the service left something to be desired. The technicians talked amongst each other nearly the entire time I was there only occasionally acknowledging me.

My friend and i decided to stop in here and give it a try as all the other places in town seemed to be closed. Upon walking in we were a little thrown off by the abrupt and sort of short service. I dont believe this was a language barrier as weve been given great service before with the same language barrier. There were no prices listen anywhere and we felt unconfortable asking. They let us know the wait would be five minutes. About 20 minutes later we were finally asked to sit and be worked on. My friend and i both asked for the exact same manicure. The process of recieving them was a bit long and painful for each of us. My friends her hand was twisted all sorts of ways unnatural (hurting her) and the woman on her continued insisting she was too stiff. My treatment was a little different. The woman working on my hands either didnt have alot of experience or simply wasnt good and what she did. The actual manicure was uneven and rough on all levels. The actual surface of my nails were all wavy and over all rough to the touch. My cutticles ended up all cut up and scraped leaving them hurting for days. The woman apparently didnt realised she had cut me up. She believed i had scrubbed too hard at the sink with the sponge causing me to bleed. Truth is i didnt use the sponge she instructed me to because of how much my fingers already hurt. Now im not a person huge on getting my nails done. Infact i had only gotten them done twice before this experience. I didnt feel comfortable speaking up or complaining and left the establishment without a peep and even paying a tip. Looking bavk i really believe she didnt deserve it. Today i went to a nail salon in Kyle that i absolutley love. The service was great and quick and best of all painless. And my nails look amazing! My experience today made me rethink on my experience here. I dont want anyone to waste their money being mistreated like i was. I really recomend anywhere else, if only to save your fingers from the pain.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!! The worst mani pedi I have ever experienced. Ridiculous. Infuriating. RIP OFF. Painful.The entire time, it was rushed, and too rough. It felt like she was ripping my whole skin off the entire time.The mani pedi massage was extremely painful, and she kept digging into my arms and legs. I wish I had never gone to this place. I spent $60 on a terrible french pedicure and an even worse gel manicure. I also feel like they are overcharging and giving out random prices and extras for things.After she sped through my gel manicure, I didnt even get a chance to sit and take a look because they had another appointment. She even ripped off a tiny bit of my skin so theres a little dot of blood. I left, looked at my nails.PISSED. So messy. The polish was all over my fingers, the skin surrounding my nails looked straight out of a horror movie, and my hands were dry and stinging. I went in to get it fixed, and instead of using the polish, she tried to just take off parts of the skin which had paint on them. Just so she could get back to do the other girls nails. Never coming here again.

They did not give me the color that I wanted,m argued with me when I told them what I wanted, burned my finger multiple times when clearing off the nail polish with the tool.

Walked in, didnt get acknowledged one time, didnt get asked what I needed, etc. they were with people but that doesnt mean they still cant greet you and acknowledge you are there. Stood there for two minutes, finally just walked out the door because it was that ridiculous.

My wife visited here while I had some errands to run in town. Their quality is on-par with most other nail salons, however the employees spent the entire visit talking among themselves only looking up to ask my wife a brief question and then went back to talking with each other. Total for both hands and feet came to over $70 with a tip. Didnt feel like we really got our moneys worth. According to my wife, the whole experience was just ok and it was not some place she would ever really want to consider going back.

I visited Linh for an acrylic manicure. WOW! My nails are beautiful, they still look beautiful a week and a half later. While Linh has given me many great pedicures, this was the first acrylic manicure she did for me. I love Linh and her staff. She is so sweet and accomodating. I will definitely go back! Great prices and wonderful staff.

My nails were left jagged underneath... even though i asked her to file them 5000 times. The lady would angrily hack at my nails and they’d just get worse. I wanted almond shape and they ended up somewhere between round and garbage.

I got a fungus from the use of unsanitary tools used in my pedicure. Be careful in what they use on your nails because it may not be sanitized!
