They were very quick to take me in and sit me down. My tech was Cheyenne (I don’t know how it was spelled) she was very nice and respectful, I recommend her 😊 did a very well job and I’m very happy with the results, it’s exactly what I wanted. There was no discomfort and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. They explain everything well and walk you through their prices without confusion. I recommend this place it’s nice and quiet with such a chill vibe. Satisfied customer 😆

I got my nails done by ANGIE and the first time she did my nails for my best friends wedding was so pretty but the second time I got my nails done for my baby shower she did such a horrible job… she was rushing, the side of my nails were NOT painted all the way through even though she told me it was going to be fixed after she finished. Nope she lied. It was not fixed. I still saw clear nails. Its like she forgot to do nails because they were not thick like the first time I got my nails done with her. Like come on girl it was my baby shower! Didn’t tip her and didn’t feel bad. I guess they don’t pay her enough to do the same quality of work she use to do… feel bad for her because she honestly had great potential and now she doesn’t even care anymore.

The facility is very clean and the precautions in place are great. The staff is so sweet! I was able to get an appointment with Ellen and she was wonderful. This was my first time getting my nails done in a couple years and I couldnt be happier with the result

Good for pedicure, got a basic pedicure and was disappointed. I got a lighter color and they didn’t do enough coats, I can still see my nail beds. The polish was also clearly old and did that weird streaky bubbling thing that cheap/old polish does. I’m going to have to remove the polish once I’m home. Would not recommend.

Only come here if you have extremely LOW expectations . My problem is I came in here expecting my nails to turn out good and I expected proper sanitation. My nail tech did not properly clean and did not do my nails the way I asked at all. I will NEVER come back here and will let people know not to come here

The worst pedicure Ive had in 20 years. I should have asked to see the licenses of the tech that worked on me. And today, I have burns on me from the UV light and a red and sore cuticle on my big toe.

So I’ve never had dip nails before, and I don’t think I’ll ever be getting them again. I really like the man who did my nails he was very friendly and I thought he was doing a great job. Sadly I got passed on to a young woman to do designs. When I told her that the designs were smeared and I didn’t like it she literally laughed in my face. I’ve never felt more disrespected while getting something done. After she finished laughing she told me it was fine and she then grabbed my hand to put it in the dryer. I literally never complain so I ended up just saying thank you and I paid and still tipped because the guy who did the first half did really well. Well now all of my nails are chipped and generally just feel very uncomfortable and do not look good at all. I really would rather just have them taken off but I literally paid $75 dollars for them and I genuinely hate them. I picked this place because of the reviews and the photo gallery but I guarantee you those people either got lucky or their nails started chipping shortly after their review. Do not go here you will be very disappointed and out of the money you had to begin with.

Go and ask for Tim! The sweetest man ever and takes his time to make sure you get what you want. I’ve had issues with ingrown toe nails and he was able to cut it with no pain! He’s easy to talk to and gives no pressure on the client. I will be going back!

Everytime i went to alpha nails i loveddd my nails but this last time i hated them and my cuticles were messed up and bled a couple times. i had a guy do them who i had never seen there before but he did a horrible job.

THE nest manicure Ive had in San Marcos, and one of the best manicures Ive had EVER. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the service was amazing. My nail-tech Regina did an amazing job, and I had a great time talking with her during my appointment. The whole staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. The manicure was also very affordable! The COVID safety precautions theyve taken are great. Im definitely coming back! 10/10 recommend.

I spent $60 on my nails. They looked great at first, but after a few hours they began to peel. The first coats had not fully dried. Unfortunately, I got my nails done there on the last day of my vacation, so I obviously couldn’t return. I called and spoke about what happened and the girl who answered said I’d get a “full credit” for the next time. I had to get my nails done at a nail salon in my city, as my nails looked disgusting! I spent another $25. So today, I spent a day at the outlets and thought to use my credit. They offered me a $20 gift, when I spent $85! The least they could do was redo my nails!!!!

This is the best place in San Marcos to get your nails done fancily. You can go to other places and theyll do a fine job. But here we the best. Amazing designs, great technicians, and free mimosas. Im going to be a regular here. Excellent prices and a student discount as well.

I’ve been coming here since I got to TXST and I love it! It’s the perfect place to get a full set and pedicure. It’s extremely relaxing and quiet (so if you need to study during a pedicure you can do that) which is a plus in my book. They have a student discount and complementary wine as well! Michelle does my full sets usually and I would highly recommend her because she is fast and great at shaping your nails!

I made an appointment and had really high hopes for getting my nails done. Only for them to keep me waiting for over an hour and then have the receptionist come up to me and cancel my appointment. They wouldn’t schedule me any earlier than 2 days AFTER my first appointment….

I don’t know if the reviews are deceiving, or if i just had a horrible experience! I got my nails done on Wednesday, January 2nd. I got just plain simple acrylic powder with tips, coffin shaped long nails. The next day one of them broke. By Sunday, January 6th, I had 6 broken nails. I drove there Tuesday and told them what happened, and asked for my money back. They said they don’t do refunds, but they would redo a full set free of charge. I had my nails redone that Thursday, January 10th. They redid them same style and powder, I just got them shorter since they swore the nails broke off because they were too long ( I have been getting the same shape and length for 4 years). I even tipped them $10 for spending time to redo my nails that were free 🙃. By Monday, January 14th two of them were broken. I went back and got those two fixed the next day. On Wednesday January, 16th I went to open up my car door and my pinky nail broke and ripped off my whole nail from the nail bed and the same thing happened to another nail Saturday January 19th. Today Monday, January 21st my nail just broke from me literally just scratching my arm! Like WTF! I didn’t even bother driving back up there to get them fixed. In the span of 2/3 weeks, the normal length of time one full set is supposed to last, I have had pretty my two full sets redone. I do not do a lot with my hands, play any sports or anything like that. I am a receptionist in a doctors office, I literally type and answer phones all day, and the nails didn’t even last a week without breaking. Not even like 4/5 days. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Worst nails experience ever and now my nails are messed up beyond repair 💔

Tim did an amazing job on my feet for about two hours. When it was time to do my nails Michelle had a horrible attitude. Was very impatient. Very rude. I was so nice to her but I could tell she had beyond a long long day brought her problems and her attitude to work i no longer wanted her to do my nails. I wanted to leave. I paid for my toes and quickly left. The guy at the front desk was a sweetheart. . Smh God bless america. The money we spend on our nails and feet arent cheap. If you want something simple and very basic this place is fine, really anywhere in San Marcos is fine. Unfortunately I had the best nail artist here and it was underwhelming. Asked for a pretty simple coffin set of ombré nails. One nail is crooked, the matte finish is messed up, the coffin shape is wide/almost square, no apex on some nails, incomplete filing, ombré is different on each nail and blotchy. Also charged $70 for the set which would’ve been $55-60 elsewhere. Overall I would NOT come here for nail art, trendy nails or anything not very fundamental. Probably does a good job on basic manicures and pedicures tho. Very friendly, professional service and pretty interior.

I’ve been here a handful of times, and this truly is the best spot in San Marcos to get your nails done. All of the workers seem to take their time, they have a good variety of colors and styles to choose from. Each person sort of has their own way of doing certain styles and have certain things that they do best, but they all come out good. Prices have a huge range so they have more affordable options as well as more luxurious things. All of the workers are polite, jovial and seem generally happy to be there. Definitely going back and definitely recommend :)

Any set of nails I have gotten from Alpha has outlasted any other work I’ve ever gotten done at a nail salon. The front desk is very organized and all of the nail techs are amazing. I now make regular appointments with Ivy and I strongly encourage everybody else to do the same

I just moved here and was very nervous about finding a new nail person. Ivy did my nails and she is...AWESOME! I can’t brag about her enough. Very sweet and she did the best work on my nails I have ever had.

I wasnt really satisfy with the service they provided me with, first of all I called in to ask if I needed appointment.(waited) 20 minutes in my car, went inside waited another 10 minutes, they told me to choose color which I told them I just wanted French color on my toe nails and hands, I had to get a pedi,( it was just a scrub that was it and color, he said red looked better, I was like no I want French tip color on nails, I taught maybe they didnt have the white color since I didnt see it in the nail polish rack, so he asked what I wanted to do for my nails I said well I was here for the white French tip color only I did got that, I was like ok..when Im about to leave I pay $88.00 I mean I just wanted color on my nails so I was ok .. the white tip lasted just a week,,, really bum about it..😤😤😜😔never going back again .

I have been to several nail salons and I am truly impress with Alpha Nails they did an amazing job and really take the time and truly care what they do. I truly recommend getting the deluxe pedicure it feels amazing and you walk out with a huge smile the prices are amazing and the scenery is truly relaxing. Best place is San Marcos for sure!!!! My favorite nail shop Ever!! The staff is warm and inviting. The atmosphere is relaxing and they make you feel special as a customer every time. My only complaint is that they no longer honor the military discount. I spent over $300 on an occasion and had no idea until I got to the register.

Im not one that gets pedicures alot, its a splurge for me--so I was really disappointed with my experience. Upon arrival, there was only one other person there getting their nails done, I immediately stepped on a live cricket. So theres bugs. Then I waited almost 10 minutes for a tech to come get me. Once again--only one other person in the salon. He had to go back to the room 3 times (during the pedicure) to get other supplies he kept forgetting. I then had to ask him twice to please get the dirt from the corner of my toe nail. I left with it still there because I was so frustrated. Definitely not a good experience and not relaxing one bit. I will not be back

This is by far the best nail salon I have Been to. The decor is nice and the lighting is perfect like a spa. Comfortable seating and they offer complimentary beverages and wine. I didn’t like the fact I had to ask for a drink but other than that the service was awesome and my tech did an amazing job on my pedicure. I rec this place in San marcos

My wife and I got a pedicure at Alpha and I have to say that it was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly, big thumbs up to Jeffrey, Tim and Cindy, you guys are great and know what youre doing. I just love to walk out of a nail salon and feel like Im walking on clouds. I was a walk in, without an appointment. Fortunately, they were able to take me right away. Eva did my nails, a full set of solar nails. I am very pleased with the job she did. I would definitely return to her again. She was very nice and very pleasant to visit with.

Great pedicure. Place seems very clean. Wasn’t busy when I was there but from the number of stations they have, I assume they are pretty busy at times.Only complaint is that they charged $20 extra for gel polish. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons and haven’t ever been charged that high for gel with a pedicure.

Horrible service. The workers do not shut up. They will continue to speak about themselves and their children without anyone asking. I thought I was coming in for a peaceful manicure and pedicure. I experienced the opposite. I also didn’t know how much any of the services were. I took my nine-year-old daughter to get a manicure & pedicure assuming they offer children prices like other salons do. Her pedicure cost me $45 her manicure cost me $45. I tried to dispute it but they do not accept blame or fault. They will not guarantee their work, they will not offer a resolution they will simply tell you “Just pay.” When I asked if I could speak to their manager they told me he’s not available, he does not come into the salon, but that he will call me. Of course, he never did and he probably doesn’t exist. Not only are they unprofessional, their manicures and pedicures are horrible.I had to come back three days later to have them reapply shellac. Total cost $280

Highly recommend coming to alpha. This is the only place I go to because of how great the service is and how friendly the employees are. I always leave satisfied and they are always doing what they can to make sure you get what you want. They are usually busy so make sure to make an appointment or just call ahead and check in. Michelle does my manicures every time (she sits at the front) and she’s amazing!! I always have Jeff do my pedicures because he does them perfect and takes his time!

A lot of time quick sets = bad quality and cutting corners, not with Vincent!! He did everything i look to be done in a manicure, did a perfect shape, the design was exactly what i asked for. They have Black light receptive colors, matte gel top coat, and like 100 colors to choose from! I got a full set with a design on 2 nails in gel polish and it was only $58!!! My sister and I came for manicures today and had a great time!! My nail technician was Johnny T and he did a great job! I came shopping with my boyfriend for Memorial Weekend and after a day of walking we stopped at Alpha Nails Spa to get a pedicure. First impression was that the nail spa is very tidy and elegant. We received the deluxe pedicure which was a great price for the amazing service. The two people who did our pedicures were extremely welcoming and even held a very long conversation with my boyfriend about shoes lol. We will definitely be coming back here when we shop again! I highly recommend.

I’ve been here about 4 times. Each visit was a different experience. The girl who is at table #1 is phenomenal and we had a great conversation, she’s very nice and does beautiful work. However there is another woman there who is at a table in the middle, I don’t remember the table number but she gave me a nail infection. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and this has never happened to me before. She tried to lie saying it was something that I did. I pretended to believe her but my aunt is in the nail industry and taught me a lot about the nail business and process so needless to say I didn’t do this to myself. I would give it a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the infection that I got. Not going back.

First time here and the service was great! Got my nails done by Kelly and she was amazing!! She took her time and made sure I liked the shape, color and overall outcome of how my nails looked. Pedicure was by Ellen and she was great as well, made sure I was comfortable and got my ingrown out which is big for me. Definitely coming back, thank you!

Been going here for the past 2 years and love it! Only place Ill get my nails done (I do shellac/deluxe pedi). Ask for MICHELLE or CINDY!! These girls are the only ones I do my nails with. They take their time and make sure your nails are perfect just how you want them. My mani usually lasts about 2-3 weeks with no chipping. 10/10 recommend.

I have been to alpha nails many times and have services done by Vincent and loved them. The last time I went I called for an appointment at 5:45 with Vincent and they booked me for 5:30 instead. So when I showed up on time for my 5:45 appointment they told me I was late and that they had already seated Vincent. I was told I could wait for him which would’ve been almost 45 minutes or take another nail specialist. They sat me with a bobby within 5 minutes. He was rushing me to sit so instead of finding an actual color I wanted I just chose white shellac on top of acrylic nails which I have gotten before. The whole time he was quick which was appreciated, but very sloppy. My nails are uneven although I asked him to file them straighter many times, and when he put the shellac on top it was so thick and uneven. I got my nails done less than a week ago and a few of them have chipped terribly. My roommate has also had terrible experiences here as well. Nonetheless I am extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning and spending my money here.

When you get a pedicure they have these really nice chairs you sit in and they massage your back like someone is actually massaging your back for you. You get something to drink, and when you get a certain package of pedicure you get to pick a scent(green tea, lavender, mango, etc) When you write a review you get 10% off and also when your a student you get a discount as well. The people are really nice too!

So I’ve lived in San Marcos for 3 years and I’ve never had such a amazing job done! BEN TABLE 12 is the absolute best nail guy I’ve ever had! Hes always making sure your happy while he does your nails, he’s attentive and so creative!! Best place to come in San Marcos for dip and for pedicures highly recommend this place!!!

I am shocked at the highly rated reviews showing on google. However, if you head over to yelp, the 3 star rating is much more suitable for this establishment. 3 stars may even be generous. I had gone to Alpha Nails Spa for a pedicure with my girlfriend. They were so rough and rushed during our pedicure which was a “deluxe pedicure” (Lasted a maximum of half an hour) that they actually missed the dead skin on my foot that I had originally came to get a pedicure to remove. And they sliced open my girlfriends feet on several different places. Friendly staff and clean place but very rushed and poor skill. I will not be returning.

I always get my nails done here and there hasnt been a time where I come out upset. Their nail technicians are by far the best and are really creative on their work. After all they make sure that you are satisfied with their work and they will make adjustments for you. Not to mention their complimentary drinks (wine, water, you got it) they also do student discounts!

I will never go back here. I went 2 weeks ago and had my nails done here told the technician and 3 other people that I was not satisfied with my nails they ignored me said they looked great. They were chipped and pitted. So I thought I try again one more time. Scheduled an Appt with someone who apparently wasnt there today and they didnt bother to tell me till I was sitting down. The gentleman who did my nails (Bobby)was in a hurry, very distracted, got up and went to the back numerous times, super glued himself to me, filed my skin and then cut me. My nails look horrible and all they can say is sorry $50. I will make sure to tell everyone how they dont care about their customers they only care about the money.. The owner should know they offered me no solution to this problem. So disappointing.

Excellent place to get your nails done! The atmosphere is spa-like and relaxing. The selection of colors is amazing, and the customer service is top rate. They always do a wonderful job on my nails.

The owners who are husband and wife are friendly. They have wonderful policies for the employees. They do not allow them to use their cell phones or speak their language. The employees all smile and talk to you and offer you wine, water or mimosas. This is the only salon I go to!
