I have found my new favorite place! My sister and I both got full sets and had two separate ladies, both were wonderful! The lady that did my nails really took her time to perfect them and was humming the whole time. She really seemed to enjoy what she does and it was like watching an artist. Six people came in behind us but we didnt feel rushed and had a great time all around!! (:

Went only because the place I do like to go was closed on a Sunday. Not only did a man who came in after I did get helped before I did but when I did get service she didnt take my old nail polish off. You can see both colors on my nails. She didnt ask if I wanted my nails shorter she also assumed that I wanted acrylic. NEVER GO

I got a manicure and a deluxe pedicure here today. I unexpectedly had some time today so I was glad that they accept walk-ins. The lady that did my manicure just felt cold and not personable. She did a great job she was just more concerned talking to her coworker. The lady that did my pedicure was fantastic though! While I was sitting getting my pedicure the other workers were sitting in the chairs as well talking loudly on the phone and staring at me. It gave an unwelcome environment. I wont be back even though it was one of the best pedicures I had ever received.

Soon as you walk into the salon blond hair lady to left did my nails she rushed saying how cute my nails were..when I got home 3 of my nails were messed up two of them had acrylic left under them one nail didnt have acrylic over nail and one was dis shaped. When I went into fix them they told me I have to wait 30mins for something I already paid for and they were rude

Nice people. Never a long wait. Very well staffed. My 1st choice in San Marcos. I dont get acrylic nails so I can only attest to pedicures and basic manicures. 😁💅

Second visit and I do believe I love my second full set better than my first set. Sadly that was only 2 weeks ago.

Save your time and money. It was a horrible experience. I couldn’t get my chair to work and asked for help twice and they just said “it’s working” and didn’t listen. Not a big deal, just the chair, just added on to the whole experience. During the manicure she was super rough cutting me twice. It was 6:40, and they close at 7. The man approached me and asked me to pay and I told him my nails were drying and couldn’t get into my purse right now. 5 minutes later a woman comes over and says “I’ll help you” and opened my purse. I asked her to get out of my purse and she stated “it’s ok I will help” and pulled my wallet out. Was rushed out to the point my nails weren’t even dried but I didn’t care. Unprofessional and horrible quality

It was my first time in this place and getting my nails done so I didnt know what kind to get and I told them I didnt know & that it was my first time and I felt like they suggested the highest price nails set for me just for business and that just wrong, i thought theyd let me know some options to make me feel more comfortable but they didnt. I showed them a picture of a simple alien eyes design and the man failed horribly to do two small eye lines and left them crooked he knew it didnt look right idk why he continued! He didnt even clip my natural nail as all salon employees are supposed to do. I paid $55 🤦‍♀️

Great job! Staff take their time on spa pedicures! Will go back in a couple of months!

Love this place.. Im here every two weeks. Holly is great.. and I love all the different colors they have in powder.Plus they take their time to do great work. Love doing mother and daughter spa days.

I love this nail salon! Cindy is my go to lady but all the nail techs are fabulous! They have a huge selection of new colors and also offer waxing. I drive 30 mins just to get my toes does here!

They have organic nails. Very pretty work. Although my nails still come off too easily since Im a hard worker and cleaner. There is a cash discount but you have to ask for it or you wont get it. It took me three visits and I did mention it but the owner just said yes and didnt give it to me. Maybe a lack of understanding communication? Very nice atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings. Especially the pedicure in the back with the big fish tank. Also nice to have a glass of wine while get in your nails done. Sharon is a very nice kind person to beautify your what your nails with a good attitude.

My nails look awful. They are wide & the acrylic looks bubbly when I specifically told her how I liked my acrylics to look. I got a pedicure too and the lady doing my toes cut me twice and was super rough. She filed two of my toe nails way too short & made me bleed. The only reason I gave one star is because they do offer a student discount but other than that do not go here.

Got my solar nails off and the lady didnt have a name tag, didnt introduce herself. Very awkward and she clipped them down really short, then she pulled them off with a fake tip. It hurt, she also buffed them and buffed my skin on my fingers in the process. She made me super nervous touching my hands. Im also not sure she even had washed her hands. My nails are too short and I had some hang nails.

I have been coming to this salon for over 7 yrs. I recently moved to Austin yet will continue to drive to San Marcos to get my nails done. The woman are so nice while doing my nails and no matter how much time passes between visits they remember me and always ask how my husband and I have been. Great service.

In my past experiences this is the best nail place in San Marcos. You just have to make sure and tell them that you want your nails a certain length or if one is too long or something just say so. Super nice staff too

If I could give 0 stars I would. I honestly could not believe how rude the man doing my nails was. I asked him if he could smooth my tip down and he looked at me and said “you don’t tell me what to do, I do not get controlled” I got up and left

I stopped going to JB Nails last year after leaving with my cuticles bleeding after a manicure. They use to take their time and make the experience great...now they rush you thru to get to the next person.

I went as a first time customer, my Fiancee as a V-day gift told me go get my nails done.. I dont really like too cuz its hard to do stuff with them.. However Im not novice when im getting them done.. I inspect my nails.. But i went with my sister and was very distracted talking so I did not get the chance to check every 5 min.. But I asked the nail tech how long she been doing nails she said 15 years.. I was impressed but after doing them so long some ppl get careless, and stop doing their best.. In this case I think is what happened.. My nails from a picture holding my hand out looked great.. But they were bumpy, thick and my rhinestones were crooked.. And she had no idea what kind of designs to do with rhinestones... I ususally see nails techs who have worked as a nail tech knowing these designs with rhinestones, designs period and if u dont know how let it be known dont take on a project u dnt knw how to do.. I had to step by step tell her where to put every rhinestone.. And she was very rough and acted careless and annoyed with me. If you dont like ur job or got personal issues dont bring them to the table where u do nails.. Never going back!!

Ive been going to them for 3 years+, VERY friendly, they do GREAT work. My daughter loves to go in with me! They love her! I will never go anywhere else.

This is my 2nd time coming here for a pedicure and both times I was very pleased! Today a girl named Kate did my pedicure, she took her time and it was very relaxing.

Had nails dipped. Received what I expected except nails were left rough on the edges. Had to file and unstick edges myself. Same man did my nails before. Last 2 times seemed in a hurry . And yes I tip well. Didnt help last couple times.

Not impressed with the work at all. The tech didnt ask me if I wanted them long or short, they seemed too in a rush to get people in and out and there were only 2 customers actually getting manicures done!! Nails had bubbles in them, one of my pinky nails has a lump on the side from the powder and she left one thumb longer than the other. Paid $35, but honestly it wasnt even worth it! Wish I had gone somewhere else instead!!

Poor customer service. I sat and waited for 45 minutes before I politely got up and walked out. The nail tech put 2 people in front of me because she knew the customers. Dont waste your time and money when there are so many other salons in the area.

Went there for the first time and got a regular polish full set. They turned out a little wide but overall liked how it came out.

My first time getting a pedicure & the experience was awesome here. My nail tech was very friendly & did a great job.

They’re absolutely horrible. My nails are bumpy, thick as Oreos, sides of my nails are not even painted, and so much more. Don’t recommend especially for 40 freaking dollars.

The pedicure was amazing, but my toe nails were cut pretty crooked and she didnt put a top coat on my nails so Im expecting them to chip soon.

I did not have any work done here. I walked in the door and was wanting a nail fixed with fills. The woman in the front was very Rude. When I went to go sit down the same woman started coughing, I looked up at her and she wasnt covering her mouth. She was coughing all over my daughter and me. I got up and we walked out. Place looked unclean and I wont spend my money at a place that doesnt seem to want it.

When you pick a color for toes they need to let you know if they dont have the color you choose. I have an ugly hot pink toe color instead of nude. When i said something about it they argued woth me and told me I was wrong. Pretty irritating. Two stars because the foot massage was good.

This is the worst nail place I have ever been to. Don’t make the same mistake I did! My nails looked absolutely horrible, and my friends and family thought so too. The technician cut my fingers open with the file several times and it was very painful to sit through for an hour. When I asked for my money back, they refused and offered to fix it instead. Seeing how they did such a horrible job to begin with, I did not want them touching my nails, so I kept insisting on getting my money back. The owner finally agreed to refund me ONLY IF HE COULD CUT MY NAILS OFF with clippers (not fully remove them). Long story short, I got my money back after an hour of the owner yelling at me and asking me why I didn’t like my nails 100 times when it was clearly a botched job.

The staff was kind, but the work on my nails was horrible. They do get busy so it is recommended to call ahead. But the work they did on my nails was really not the best, my nails only lasted a week and a half, and that is because I do not get my nails done often. I felt like they were just rushing to get me out of the way.

In my experience the staff were nice but their work was absolutely horrid. She didnt ask how long or short I wanted the nails she just cut them very very short and didnt ask what shape either. Basically I got whatever she wanted. Luckily what she did is what I wanted. The nails had small bubbles all in them and after a week were starting to come off on their own. All of this for $35. I couldve went to Seguin where I live and paid $25 for perfect nails.

The people in this shop are always so nice. So if you just want a friendly environment, go here! But they did a horrible job on my fill! I had a broken thumb nail and so the girl half-ass filed my previous nail off and put the new one on top of the old one. I figured everyone makes mistakes, so when I go back, theyll just fix it, right? WRONG! She told me IF it breaks, shell fix it for free. I dont have time to keep going in to have my nails fixed because they couldnt get it right the first time.

They have a boy there that is very rough,Un happy and rude, the lady Diane knewHe was un happy but put me with him...Not a good job at all !!! Went in to treatMyself left crying, upset and 45 bucks to be assaulted by this guy, then she said when you come back heres my name.. really you were doing nothing when I got here. the rest of the ladies seemed ok, the little girl by me ask meIs he hurting you? I was scared to say yes

I was visiting my daughter who had been to this salon a couple times. First, every design my daughter asked about was just flat out refused with a flat no. Mind you, the requests were nothing radical. One was even a design the have listed on their price board, marble tip. When I inquired the lady acted like she didnt understand what I was saying. The kicker of the whole visit came next. A lady came in asking if she could use the restroom. Her son was meeting the shuttle to depart for the Marines but the recruiting office was closed. They first acted like they didnt understand what she was saying, then topped it off with telling her to walk across the parking lot and go to the Marshalls. I was stunned! As a military mom with 2 children who have served I was embarrassed. I understand that she wasnt a customer, but it was so out of line. This salon will not get any repeat business from me or my daughter. To that Marine and his mom, thank you for your service and sacrifice for this country!! I will carry you both in my prayers. Be safe and again, Thank you!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Called ahead to make sure they had time. A friend and I showed up and she started working on my friend and stopped mid way to take care of me. Meanwhile other workers were taking care of people walking in. To top it off the pedicure was terrible-nail polish all on the sides of my toes, crooked nails.
