I rarely get my nails done, like once every two years. So I am no expert on this, but Tony, the owner runs a really great salon. They were so curteous and professional. They listened closely to a concern I had about pedicures then were careful to provide excellent work. The place is peaceful (even with 5 customers and 7 staff) all was calm and relaxing. The employees remain quiet while working, respecting the spa atmosphere. I just may become a regular! Me! A finely manicured woman after all these years.

My friend and I visited this salon 5/12/2021. We both had an appointment for pedicures & manicures. She opted for gel mani and I wanted to be bold and get an acrylic mani for the first time. I had 3 nail technicians working on me back and forth during the appointment. The pedicure was okay, my nail tech #2 was very light touch and did a clean job painting, but there wasnt much emphasis on cuticle and callus care. My biggest regret was getting the acrylic manicure. The 1st nail tech did not prep my nails, no cuticle clean-up, did not cut my natural nail, nothing. She went straight to putting the acrylics on which I found odd. Then she began filing the sides of the acrylic so aggressively she actually cut into the sides of my cuticle on one nail. She kept apologizing but it did make the rest of the experience uncomfortable. 1st nail tech kept leaving to service two other customers (even though 2 techs were available) so 3rd technician came over. She was very kind and agreed to do a design on my nail. Im actually very proud of her work because it was not easy! 1st technician came back to finish my nails but she only applied a clear coat and told me to wash up. But there was still a heavy amount of residue from filing under my nails. Polish was uneven as well. I dont believe this manicure I received was worth the $57. My friend was done early and when she went to pay, the owner argued that she needed to go get cash to pay, he wouldnt accept her debit card. When I went up to pay he said the same thing, so I pointed at the form at the register that says debit card is accepted but tips must be in cash. As I was using my debit card, he continued to scold me about next time not coming back with our cards, only using cash next time.Its the morning after and my nails are already chipping and there are a few scratches. In total, my friend and I decided we wont be coming back.

The owner here is very kind and really cares about their service. I had a dip manicure and it cracked after a day and I returned and they got me in quickly. I am rough with my hands: gardening, cleaning, etc.) I appreciate how present the owner is, but I do think this place is better at pedicures. I’ll be updating later to comment on how long they last.*Update*Cracked 48 hours later...again and now have yellowing. Not sure what’s happening but sad to say I’m trying a different place soon.

I have been going here for the deluxe pedicure. I have problems with my feet... bunions and varicose veins... and the deluxe pedicure is wonderful for me. Tony and staff are all very professional and strive for a calm, peaceful atmosphere. My visits have all been very relaxing and I come away feeling rejuvenated. They keep the salon very clean and safe. Thank you everyone at TL Nails for a consistently pleasant experience!

Beautiful! My first time getting acrylics. I had kim and they are beautiful. Im quiet and have alot of social anxiety but the place and the people are so nice i was completely relaxed. Kim was very patient with me even when i got overwhelmed picking colours. Im going back!!

This used to be my favorite place...but the last 3-4 times I’ve been there haven’t been the best...Seems to miscommunication between staff. I was told to come 30 minutes early to my reservation only to wait for someone for almost 20 minutes...Then the owner didn’t communicate the color I wanted to the nail technician so she was upset with me for having to paint my nails...She then cut my nail so short it was painful to walk in work shoes for 3 daysWhen it came time to pay the owner scolded me for not having cash but there’s a sign that says debit is fine..I’m just disappointed in the service and for being a consistent regular I was really taken aback by my treatmentThink it’s time to find a new nail salonSad!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating even when I showed up close to closing time. However, I dont know if its because I got my nails a bit long (Ive had them like this before) but 3 have already broken so far. 2 of them broke the same week I got them :( And its only been a week and a half

It’s our 1st time here today. They were able to accommodate 3 deluxe pedicures on short notice. I called at 9 and they fit us in at 10:15. The parking is easy, atmosphere is clean and relaxing, customer service is top notch, and they did a great job on our nails!! I will definitely be back!! Thanks TL nails!!

Tony, Lynn and their staff are some of the nicest, most competent nail technicians Ive met. I wont go anywhere else and neither should you.

The service here is excellent; the manager is present and makes his way around the salon to check in with each customer and their experience. I came for a basic manicure, and my nail tech was very detail oriented and kind. The price and value at this salon is excellent $15 for a quality manicure that has lasted me over a week (with regular polish that is pretty much a miracle for me).

I love TL Nails. The people are very nice. Lyn does my acrylic nails and always is very thorough and artistic! They even give you a bottle of water. There is a wonderful assortment of colors for nail polish and gels, and are very sanitary as well. They have a cover that goes inside of the foot spa for pedicures, and it gets changed with each person. Check them out. I highly recommend them. Especially the hot stone massage:)

My daughter and I went here for the first time today. Tony, the owner, was very attentive to our needs. He asked us exactly what we wanted and there was no pressure to buy extra services. He made sure we were relaxed and comfortable. The technicians were wonderful! They were so gentle and did great work. I will never go to another nail salon again and I will recommend this salon to everyone I know!

I was looking for a nail salon that did dip powder manicures, and I wasnt disappointed! TL Nails and spa, Kim, did a great job on my nails! I will definitely be back!

The service was terrible my pedicure consisted of him scrubbing my feet and did nothing to my nails other then paint them. I had to retouch them when I got home. 60$ for 2 pedicures.

One of the best pedicure/manicures Ive ever had! Four of us visited and all absolutely loved it. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Loved the stone massage! And the attention to detail is admirable. Thank you!

Not my first choice. I couldnt figure out how to communicate properly what I wanted. It was not my regular shop. Maybe it was my fault. More senior person tried to help us. Service was done well but it didnt match what I get at home.

Lynn did an amazing job on my nails. I will be going to her. She did the best almond shape nails ever. TL nails take really good care of you. The lady who did my moms orange toes with a flower did an amazing job. My mom really liked the hot rock massage as part of the pedicure. Great prices too I must add.

Lovely place! I was greeted outside and seeted immediately. They offered me water and my nail stylist helped me choose the colors I wanted because I couldnt decide. She did a great job and was so sweet! The manager also have me 10% off since it was my first time. He was so professional and nice and I will definitely be going back!

Some of my bridesmaids, my mom and I got our nails done here for my wedding. They did an amazing job! We got our nails done on March 10, 2017, and my toes still look flawless. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My gel manicure is just starting to come off, but they still look pretty good. Next time I am in San Luis Obispo, I will definitely be going back!

I have delicate cuticles and nails and I received a wonderful (and pain free) manicure and pedicure from Lin (spelling?). The shop was spotless, the people very friendly and the services performed perfectly.

The staff is nice and give complementary water, but the nails are not very good. There are many air bubbles in my nails and there are also hairs in my nail and they cut one of my cuticles which is now bleeding.

Nice workers but Ladies were in a rush and it wasnt even busy. The paint job was okay but my acrylic nails didnt even stay on for a week and Im not rough with things so that says a lot. Dont recommend it.

So ive went to this nail shop a handfull of times and EVERY single time ive LOVED every second . They always ask you to sign in and pick out your color(s) and if your not sure what color then the techs will help choose with you . I always go to lynn for my fills and shes so gentle. Attention to detail is so important to her . If she doesnt think it looks good trust me, she will redo it . I dont even have a chance to ask her to fix anything, shes 2 steps ahead of me . Tony is great and encourages you to be sure that you LOVE your nails before you leave. Ill be going back every time until i move out of state again. Worth every minute of your time and every dollar . I seriously love this place so much that i drive 15 miles one way !
