I just had a great experience at the dentist! Dr Swoboda took excellent care of me. It had been years since I had a cleaning. He didn’t make me feel bad or embarrassed. He gently explained what he was doing and told me amusing stories to occupy my mind. The X-ray technician was also very pleasant and also professional. They all set me at ease.

I dont think Ive ever written a Google review before, but I was excited to because could not be more impressed by Dr. Hummer and his practice! He is excellent, welcoming, and committed to the wellbeing of his patients. I had a bad experience with another dentist a couple years ago and was avoiding going to the dentist, but my trust was totally restored after meeting Dr. Hummer. He explained everything in language I could understand, asked me what I do so that he could use metaphors that make sense to me, made appropriate recommendations for all of my concerns, and called me after to check in and make sure everything was going well. I couldnt give a better recommendation!

I have been an absent patient of Dr Hummer for 10 years and chipped a tooth. They got me in immediately for an early AM appointment, I met Dr Hummer while parking and once again he made me feel welcome and at ease - why did I wait so long. Everyone in the office including the x-ray tech went out of their way to make me feel safe, welcome and well cared for, explaining every procedure and process. Dr Dave did my exam and gave me a thorough tooth cleaning, the best I have ever had! Dr. Hummer is not only a great dentist who know what hes doing but also a great person who genuinely cares about his patients. He gave me BART money after an appointment so I wouldnt be stuck at the wrong station. the entire staff at the office are kind and professional, honestly the best experience at a dentists office.

Dr. Hummer is my regular dentist and has always provided excellent dental care. I knew he was good, but it wasnt until I broke my jaw and fractured two teeth in an accident last fall requiring more extensive dental work, that I came to realize what a truly skilled and caring provider he is. Instead of having my jaw wired shut for the bone to set, Dr. Hummer recommended installing ortho-style brackets on my upper and lower teeth and securing them with bands that I could remove and replace on my own as needed (a far less restrictive alternative). To reassure me this was the best way to go, he arranged for a same day consultation with a busy oral surgeon who reviewed my case and concurred with this recommendation. While I was wearing these brackets, Dr. Hummer personally called me several times just to see how I was doing. Although hes certified to perform simple root canals, this one was more complicated, so he referred me to an excellent endodontist nearby and then coordinated with him ultimately clearing his own schedule so a new crown could be installed before the holidays. Throughout this ordeal, his staff was incredibly supportive as well. For example, since my injuries were the result of an accident, Rebecca, his office manager, worked diligently with me to get this work covered under my medical insurance. Given these circumstances, Ill admit I was not always the easiest patient to work with, yet Dr. Hummer and his team always went the extra mile to ensure my comfort and ultimate well-being. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist. You wont be disappointed.

Dr Hummers office is not fancy... It is clean and comfortable. He and his staff are warm and friendly. You can hear the knowledge and profesionalism the minute you begin talking to he and his staff. Dr Hummr has taken on a big project in my mouth- giving me the beautifull smile I have always wanted. He placed implants and crowns on my front teeth that had been missing for over 40 years- Thanks to a football injury. HIs business manager has educated me all the way through with my dental insurance and I love his new Hygienists. I highly reccomend Dr Hummer and his staff and thank them for giving me something to smile about...Oh and SUPER GENTLE !!!!
