I had a great training session at Fitness 19 on Story rd., with the lead Personal Trainer Micheal this past week. Needless to say, As a Personal Trainer myself, I am not easily impressed! But from the very beginning of the Session, he maintained a focused instruction, of which he was more than skillfully capable to pass on to me! Which, in the world of Fitness Trainers, separates the men from the boys, and the ladies from the girls! I highly recommend the Fitness environment of Fitness 19!
I would say that fitness 19 is a quick. Stop to do your fit u want .place is nice n clean .n staff s is great .i would recommend it .
Do not join this gym if you ever want to quit and go to another gym. They make it nearly impossible to cancel your membership.I called Fitness 19 to cancel. Was told to call this other 800 number. A person at the 800 number said I needed to write a letter/email to this email address. The email address goes to some kind of auto- response system. Today, my next Bill date, I go to follow up to make sure I wasn’t charged and the cancellation happened. I was still charged the $15!!!! Now I need to reply to them and follow up on in July. Very very frustrating.
It was a cool place to go work out. But I have requested to cancel my membership wrote a letter and everything and am still getting charged. I will have to now do a stop payment at my bank because I’m still being charged.
Don’t go to this gym ever. It is very bad and I had a bad experience trying to cancel the membership. We call them for the membership and we had 2 memberships and the only canceled one when we told them to cancel both of them and they were still charging us for no reason. It took 1 month to cancel and they still charging annual fees. Don’t go to this gym please.
No push pull sled equipment, only one StairMaster which will be always busy and you will not get a chance to do it.

The young ladies that work there are very nice . The gym has all you need for a good workout. The only dissapointing thing is there is no locker room or showers.

I went after they re-open to enroll for $1.00 first month. The person who attended me, made a contract with no annual fee, going month by month, no automatic charge . I ask for my contract and waited, the sales person told me the printer was down, he will send me the papers via e mail . Now ; I have a contract, have to pay annual fee, they will automatically get their pay . I called to talk to the person who attended me and is gone . I talk to the manager ; he says : it’s what it’s in the contract !!! That I sign ; I’ll keep on going but I’ll fight this to the end . Be Careful with those sales people and hidden fees . I’m really 😡 !

I got a membership 2yrs ago and got a trainer as well. At first things were good however, half way thru my training sessions my trainor didnt deliver nd didnt communicate my visits. Needless to say i have half sessions gone unused but fully paid for. Last year i canceled my membership 2x and recently they said its not canceled and still charging me. This is ridiculous and I refuse to pay for a service i dont use. Stay away from this place.
I never workout at this location but theres always plenty of people in and out actually met one of the guys who go around the country setting up these little affordable gyms and he seemed to be very nice.

What you see is what you get and the equipment here is more than enough for the price of membership. This gym is a good bargain.
Anna is very knowledgeable and often refers to the exact muscles you are working. She also walks around the room to your check form to prevent injury. Im definitely coming back!
Went to the gym this morning to find that no one was there. Waited around for 30 minutes before going home. Called again around 830 to see if they were open and the phone just rang. Is this place still open? Whats going on ?
Great price for what you get. Most locations are nothing flashy and have what you need to get in a solid work out. Only two issues I have are the lack of locations and the, generally, disgusting conditions of the restrooms. Everything else is well and good but the restrooms are, without fail, the worst part of any F19 branch. I just wait until Im done and at home. Maybe Im a drama queen.
Tried it once, while in town, really nice gym, a lot of machines, barbells, dumbbells with lot of weights and my favorite cable crossover machine for my chest!

Not a good experience coming to this location. I have never been to a gym and was seeking information for beginers. The front desk had 3 personal trainers from what I could see and did not receive a greeting or a welcome for me and my partner. I asked for basic information about the gym since I am a beginner. The trainers response was very monotone with the sense that I was asking stupid questions and instead of showing me or explaining to me about what the gym had to offer, first thing I was asked if I had a bank account, routing number, and account number. I felt uncomfortable and to the point that I was giving him my bank information until I stopped and just left. BAD customer service, all I wanted was information...
NEVER enrolling up for this gym again i cancelled my membership and there still charging me every month its been 4 months now of them just stealing my money .I went personally and they said they have to charge “fees”BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES

I paid for a whole year and I explained to the manager that I dont know anything about the fitness machines because its my first experience at the gym. I think he wasnt listening to me because he never made eye contact with me and never ansmered my questions. I signed, he give me my receipt and thats it. I was watching how the other people used the machines and had no clue. I had to ask someone for help and that person told me I have a right to a personal trainer. She also explained to me how use the machines. Bad service and really bad experience with the fitness manager.
If I could give this place 0 stars i would let me begin by saying that we came in at around 9:30 pm we spoke with Duncan i believe his name was everything was going well, until we mention to him that we needed to think about it and we would come back the next morning at this point his attitude changed and he began acting more aggressive and rude we started walking out. We stopped at the front counter and asked him for a mangers number or owners number to get a hold of someone that would be nicer and be able to better help us but he told us im not at liberty to give any numbers then asked for the owners number or email where i could reach him he repeated im not allowed to give that information at this point he was getting more aggressive with my significant other at this point i began to walk outside to cool off my significant other stayed to try and reason with him and ask him to continue to write down the different prices at this point i walked in (only stepped out for less than a minute) the person behind the counter was being rude and obnoxious i looked at my significant other and she mention to me that he was recording her so i asked him if that was true he said yes for his safety he recorded the conversation i told him that he was not allowed to do that he continued to respond by saying i was fearful of my safety. Well im pre law here is a small rule that needs to be known due to it being inside the gym when he began recording audio it became illegal due to not having her consent to keep or record any voice and audio recording the state of California states that its illegal to record any conversation without consent and it is punishable up to 2500 dollar fine on top of 1.5 years in prison if press charges at this moment I have seen that the owner does respond to the complaints so Im hoping he sees this one once you do please feel free to contact me or leave a number where i can reach you i dont want the gym phone number or email it seems thats not where I can reach you please contact me through your direct phone line I will be following up

Update. Tonight I went in after a pretty positive experience with a 7 day pass. Met with an employee whose name I will not mention until I am able to reach his manager. I was about to sign up, and I wanted to follow up on the reply that the manager replied to this review a while back, but I was not able to reach him, just bad luck. No fault of his. The respect the manager gave me made me change my mind to give this place a try.Boy, I wish I never met this employee of his though. This guy was rude. I asked about all the prices, etc, then long story short, I mentioned the bad experience I had on Black Friday. I gave him the receipt I had as proof. The manager had apologized to me and I actually wasnt interested in the refund. It had been a while. I currently pay for two different gyms for convenience. Money is not an issue. I simply pulled it out as proof I did come in. This was when it started. He was asking me for details that led nowhere and it kept going in circles. I felt like there was some miscommunication or something. The employee said I was getting crazy and started recording me for his safety. I was calm. I think he was hoping it got to that point. I really hope he shows it to his supervisor as proof. It was onsided with him doing most of the talking. That doesnt prove anything. I was frustrated he was asking questions that werent moving us forward.What made me more upset was that he told me maybe he shouldnt tell his manager I was there because he wouldnt want to meet with me, but he said this before he recorded me. He also asked me if I was intentionally making things difficult. I wasnt intending to. Why would I cause issues somewhere Id spend so much time in? Also, I dont appreciate being recorded by his cellphone. The whole time he was cutting me off. If he played that all youd hear is his voice. I think he was hoping Id actually escalate it. I didnt.The whole time he said hed write down some prices and list the options. He didnt. He was too busy arguing with me. I told him I was confused. He mumbled, it wasnt, just numbers...etc. I told him as a customer, it was to me and if he could just list and explain. That seemed to get him defensive. He said it wasnt confusing to HIM. Okay I get that, but I said it was confusing to me.Anyway, the time I spent testing out the gym with the 7 day pass was great. The employees were great that time. Very respectful. Im being fair, giving credit where it is due.I dont understand the hit and miss with male and female employee. I got his name but I didnt list on here. I feel it is more professional to talk to a manager. Wish he was more respectful and did not record me.Manager please contact me, the employee said he wouldnt bother telling you I was looking for you, because he thinks you wouldnt want to meet with me. To be clear, I was fine with the prices, and all that. I just dont understand, your other employees were wonderful. I asked for his name. And he asked for mine(why?), but he already had my info because I had my ID. I also had someone else ready to sign up as well. Im not even sure anymore, this is quite concerning.
Gym is well maintained always clean and theirs always fresh towels for you to use.

Over chargingi went there for more than a year . I got my membership online instead of walking they said you cant get this price but if you sign up online it will not going thru. so i got good deal which they dont want give me. i paid them 1st and last month in advance and i asked them to cancel my membership and the guy gym trainer said you have to pay last month. This not right . so they over charged me . i m not recorded for any one and if want to sign up with them make sure you ask something in writing about your first and last month payment

Tried to go work out when the gym opened, its 515 on Thursday morning, and theres 10 people waiting to get in the gym...so much for a 5 am opening.

Solid gym, and I enjoyed my time there, but these people have been charging my card 8 months since I moved out of state (terminating membership) and are refusing to either refund or stop charging me after several calls.
