I signed up and paid $300 only for them to change their hours making it so that my family and I were never able to go due to our work hours. During that time I purchased a spa pedicure package, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to book anything withing 2 months on the website. My package expired during covid and they were gracious enough to let me use it within the next 6 months. It has been over 1 year of me dealing with this and they have NEVER picked up the phone for me. If I leave a message they get back to me in 1 or 2 business days, or sometimes a whole week. I really wish they would at least refund my pedicure package so I can be done with them.

I took my families to go there every weekend. It is hard to find a place for kids to swim in the bay area. The best part is that they put the gym equipments besides the swim pool so that I can watch my son and workout at the same time. Also, the pool is not crowded, and nice to kids. The only flaw maybe the high membership fee.

Great place, spacious locker rooms with showers and 300+ lockers. The pool is huge and the slides are fun, the membership is a good price for what it offers. It also has a large exercise facility which also offers personal trainers. great place to go for the summer!(can’t forget the Coconut Lime Verbena smell in their shampoo and hand wash!)(They also have an outdoor cafe in the afternoon)

Pools, swimming, whirlpool, sauna, spa, locker room with amenities and a bar and firepit poolside. Whats NOT to like, except current closing times - current 9pm (pool at 830pm) cuts my swim to 30 minutes or none at all. I hope they will return to their 12am close soon.

From someone who use the facilities with a family.Great water attraction for kids! However the inside play area is closed 99.9% of the time.Provide towels for you to use! However, the towel racks are empty half the time, they are empty 100% of the time if it is the weekend.Nice showers with soaps and lotions to use! However, if you have a family be prepare to wait 30+ minutes for showers.If you want to be over promised and under sold. By all means, it is a great gym.Also the 100$ they promise for recruiting new members, total scam. We invited some 5 close families, never saw a dime.

Incredible club and great location but service is beyond bad. Rude, uninformed, and unable to assist. They found an item I lost and instead of labeling it for me so I could easily get it on my next visit it was thrown into a massive bin I had to dig through. I get having a bulk lost & found for random items but to not even attempt helping a member speaks of the lack of training staff receives and shows how little our business & membership is valued. Summer is coming to an end and this I think that’s a good time to part ways with Villa.

Very displeased with the new daycare policy.The VillaKids director will ban your child for 7 days if you miss one time taking your child in. This means that even though you are a PAYING customer, you cannot use the service you pay for during those 7 days. If you are like me and don’t have anyone to watch your kid, then you also cannot workout for those 7 days either.. very depressing and cruel.I’m not sure why the price has not decreased when there are now so many restrictions. They used to have open drop offs and up to 2.5 hours of daycare time. (Their website still advertises 2.5 hours too) Now you have to plan 24 hours in advance and are only allowed 2 hours, but it has to be within a time slot. Example 8:30am-10:30 am. If you happen to get to Villasport at 9:00am then you only get childcare until 10:30am. (They have been telling me since June that time slots were going away soon, but they haven’t)This policy NOT family friendly and NOT welcoming.

Very clean, spacious and modern club with a lot of options for sports and fitness activities. I like pools for adults and kids, and would like to compliment the aquatics swim instructors, who run good swimming classes for kids of all ages.

Great water and exercise.1 star because they do not tell the customers when first time registry about 1 month cancellation. You have to pay 1 extra month and wait for cancellation. After pay try 1 month, my family have to pay $300 extra and have to use service 1 more month that we do not have time and do not want to go. I believe if you have a kids, great American is the best place to go with much lower price and better kids play zon

4.5 stars. This is by far, the best gym Ive ever been to. I have attended two classes so far--vinyasa yoga and Les Mills The Trip cycling class. Both classes were top quality where I felt like I got an excellent workout. The weight equipment is in great shape and this place has everything I need. My family and I also use the Villa Kids childcare. My kids love to go to Villa Kids. There is lots for them to do and they like the child care workers. The locker rooms are clean and look new. Here are some details about this gym that really make it stand out: In the family locker area, they have a TV for kids to watch while they wait for other family members to dress. There is great-smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in all the showers. The womens locker room has complimentary deodorant and hairspray if you need it. There are swimsuit drying machines in the locker rooms. The pools are amazing and are heated to 80 degrees. Getting in the pool is never uncomfortable and feels great!There are a few things that could be improved and is why I gave a 4.5 star rating. It is extremely hard to get ahold of the membership office or the upstairs fitness desk if you are trying to reach them by phone. They just dont pick up the phone. My other complaint is that the water feature in the indoor pool is never turned on.Overall, this gym has been so wonderful for my family and I. We are very glad we got a membership here.

I am not a member of Villa Sports, but I do use their spa services, specifically massages. The spa service here is great! Clean, easy to book, and the massage therapists are excellent.

I am a member since April 2018 and I am sure there isnt a better gym than the Villa Sports. It also include 2 indoor and 3 outdoor pools along with 2 outdoor whirlpools/hot tubs. I enjoy my evenings here. Staff is friendly and hard working. You have to pay a price for the service and amenities. 5 Stars!!

The whole reason I joined VillaSport was because of the wonderful Spa staff! Manny is such a great salesman without being a typical salesman. Sheila is the holy grail of massage therapist, Thu such a gentle touch esthetician loved my oxygen facial and TraLani did an awesome job on my pedicure. Love, love, LOVE.... always feel so good after a visit to the Spa and seeing my Spa pit crew! 😍

Im really dissatisfied with the registration for kids. Pre-Covid you can drop in to workout within the VillaKids hours of operation. Now, you have to register in advance and if youre a no show that is a penalty on you and you cannot register for a week for VillaKids.It would be amazing if they got rid of the registration completely since families with multiple children for example may not always be able to register their kids for the same time. The staff is great but this new system they are doing for VillaKids is the worst thing theyve implemented.I havent been able to go to the gym as much as I want to since the slots fill up or even day of if I did not register but want to go, I would call and they do not accept walk ins with your children.

I’ve been a member since opening and I love the facility. Its clean and equipment is well maintained. I met with Anthony in 2020 and 2021 for a complimentary fitness evaluation and he was really nice and gave great suggestions for me to work on. Thu at the Spa is amazing for a facial, mani and pedi and Manny is super responsive for scheduling via email. The best time to workout is after 7pm M-F and late afternoon on Saturdays where there is the least amount of people.

Based on their VillaKids:Since the gym has opened back up from Covid restrictions, they implemented a new registration system for families with children. Let me tell you, IT SUCKS. On the weekends there are only two time slots 8:30am and 10:30am. You have to download the app and register at least 24 hours in advance and if the registration is full, youre SOL. This is very problematic and annoying to deal with. If Im paying the same rates pre covid, I want to be able to drop the kids off within the VillaKids hours whenever I am able to get to the gym.

This is a classy gym and the best thing that happened to East San Jose! Even during this pandemic the staff continues to go out of their way for all of their members. It’s clean, safe and has the best equipment available. By far the best gym around. Once things get back to normal they will have their amazing workout classes, fun snacks and a very well run café.

I purchased a 4 class swim package and wanted to schedule my swim lessons. Their website doesnt list the name of my swiminstructor so I was unable to book classes online. So I called them via phone and tried to speak to the athletic director. They were not responsive and kept telling me that there is no availability for the next few days. I have been waiting or the past 3 weeks to schedule my lesson after paying for classes but they are not helpful all. My swim lesson package which I paid for expires at a certain date but they dont let me schedule my classes or return my calls.Funny part is I keep getting automated calls from Villa Sport asking me to become a paid member!

Favorite gym ever. There’s an outside adult only pool and hot tub and bar. Water slides on the kids side and a really nice locker room and spa. The gyms upstairs and you can keep on an eye on your old kids in the pool or your kids in their swim lessons from the windows while your on a treadmill. The kids area is too notch too. Just wish we lived closer to them.

They promised me that Id get my $99 enrollment fee back in the form of a gift card, but I still havent received it and its been over a year. I reached out to customer service and they gave me a gift card number, but it is inactive when I checked on their website. I emailed them again last week, but no response.

Extremely clean and versatile facility. My family & I came here in an open house Jan 5th and upon visiting the pool area & doing the tour, we were sold on getting a membership! The children’s center is spectacular & actually divides them in appropriate age groups. Cleanliness & safety is their top priorities but the part that really hit me was the women’s lounge!! Oh my goodness it’s amazing!! 😍😍😍

Nice gym wonderful pools

I am a sole member and I was looking for some quiet place to exercise and swim in after work hours. The outdoor pools are a delight. They are heated just right and feel relaxing once all of the kid crowd has left. I love coming to the pool at weekend to enjoy sun and comfortable sun patio. But my favorite time in the club is evenings which is exactly what I was looking for. No comparison to other clubs.

Great place, like going to a resort but then being able to go home and sleep. My son loved the water area, the pool and the water area indoors. The mens shower is big, they have a family locker room as well so you can take care of your little one as well. They also served alcoholic beverages for somewhat reasonable prices which is probably better for the pool time rather than gym time. My wife got a massage which she really enjoyed. They pretty much have anything you could ask for.

After moving to Berryessa from the East Coast this past year we were looking for a club that could:1) fulfill my familys fitness goals2) have a kids zone that was clean and encourages our boys to be active3) great classes and activitiesVillaSport goes over the top on our big 3 must haves and has a bonus, the pool is amazing!!Happy members at VillaSport!

Great facility, if expensive. Im a 57-year old totally out-of-shape, still somewhat overweight, woman (despite losing 130 pounds 12.5 years ago). who does NOT feel comfortable in gyms and never has. I took a chance, checked out the facility, talked with some reps there, and gave it a whirl. I love it. Its a very genuinely respectful, well-equipped place for people at all fitness levels; it has great included whirlpool, dry and steam saunas, and for an added fee-for-services spa. Im trying my first group exercise class tomorrow, and tho Im nervous, Im pretty sure theres no reason to be. Im less than a month in to my membership, but Im owning it and feeling great. So far? Its worth it. Ive never said that about a gym/health club before. I feel like a normal person there. Thank you so much!

The facility is amazing . They have plenty of great group exercises I drive half an hour to get there still it was worth .But I recently had bad experience with there gift card department. On my gift card the expiration date is 21 so called on 21 to buy one day pass and one pine wood derby registration since I was not able to do so online they told me you have to be present at the facility to buy those things by gift card. I was told that I can still use my balance when I went today they told me my card already expired on 20th even though the expiration date on card is 21. How is this possible?It is not fair.

The staff cleans everything throughout the day.There are rules of the gym that are posted through the facility, and the best part is that people follow/respect the rules!!Jacuzzi, swimming pools, lounge chairs, basketball gym, steam room, sauna, bunch of workout equipment, mini food bar, classes for yoga and other workouts, aspa for facials, nails, and massages....and...the Best part...2 and a half hours of free baby sitting while you enjoy yourself.Wait, did I say the best part? Theres an open bar that serves alcohol after 4pm!!This place reminds me that Im living my best life.Yes, pricey...but, you get out what you put in. Get your monies worth.

We were here for a birthday party and the experience was pretty positive. The place is clean, well decorated and convenient for family with kids. There are indoor basketball field and kids care when parents are working out. Bathroom/showrooms are clean and kids friendly.The birthday party was in a large room with a large jumping house setup, foods, drinks and popcorn in the side. There are also staff there help watching kids while parents are socializing.

Clean, spacious location with excellent pools for lap swim or fun, more machines than you could possibly need for your workout, which guarantees minimal or no wait for the equipment you desire. Friendly and helpful staff that is always excellent every time I need them. Just prepare to pay a premium price for membership.

This place speaks for itself, truly amazing facilites!I loved doing the walk through and seeing first hand what this place will offer once it opens.The other two missing starts are due to the lack of communication and transparency from the administration. I gave you my money when I signed up, I trusted you when told this place would open at the end of December. I was super stoked about such amazing place and encouraged others to join as well.I joined mid December and since then not a phone call or an email update. - Yes, I called to verify you had my correct email.I had to find out through the grapevine the most recent issues that prevented you from opening. I encourage you guys to over-communicate, especially with those who have signed up already. There was a commitment on our end when we signed the membership paperwork, I encourage you to have the same respect for your members.I must note that my rating and my review will definitely change based on my experience once Villa Sports finally opens up.

Weve been members for about a month now. Weve been coming in daily with our kids at peak times- not crowded at all. The place is clean and organized. Every staff member weve spoken to has been very professional and helpful. One thing I noticed, is that most people do not rinse before getting in the hot tub or pool. It would be great to see a bigger reminder sign or if staff can reinforce this directly with members. Overall great value!

Great gym. One of the best gyms in the bay area. They are very attentive to the customers and their experience for every time they come in. If you keep to yourself for the most part the Villa team are really kind and would never bother you.

Great selection of classes that are included in the monthly membership price.Currently open 5:00am - midnight Monday - Friday and 7:00am - 11:00pm on the weekend.Onsite cafe is helpful if you want a snack or a meal to take home after your workout.Love the pools and dry sauna!

Im not one for writing reviews, but i find myself thinking about this place often. VillaSport is in my neighborhood, and i was so excited to try it out. I am the parent of a one year old, and we like to do weekly activities (especially swimming). I decided to take the tour, my tour guide was pleasant, and showed me around the facility. At the end of the tour i asked about swim classes for toddlers, he informed me that there were no classes, only private lessons. I left disappointed seeing as it was one of the things i really wanted to do there. Of course i later found out online that they do offer classes, and decided to give it a try as a non member with a view to joining later. The class for toddlers (star babies), was in one lane that you cant walk into, you have to rest your child on the side, get in, and then get them in afterwards (terribly dangerous for kids that jump up and run off, or for those younger children that cant quite sit up by themselves), the pool and changing area were also freezing. The front desk staff were always friendly, but when i had questions about ongoing classes they dismissed me 3 times to check in members, i found this terribly rude. I also had a bad experience in the cafeteria, i went in there twice after our swim class only to find no one serving. I left having not purchased anything. I really wanted to want to be there, this place would have been so convenient for me, but it is severely over priced and lacking in customer service :( Perhaps it will change in a few years.

New update: membership has a special now. No enrollment fee for August.Spacious gym with many upscale amenities you wouldn’t find in other gyms such as 4 pools, large kids area, adult spa with cold towels and hot teas, there’s even a TV in the dry sauna. Basketball players beware, however, that the court de-prioritizes full court pickup game. Anytime casual players can go in, and breakup a full court game so they can shoot around.

My children & I love VillaSport. My 7 years old said Its the best place ever!. Every day my children make me take them there. Its good for them, and good for me. They have a nice place to hang out, and I get to exercise. So nice! So fancy! There is no Club in the Bay Area that is so great for both children and adult. Well done Mr or Mrs. VillaSport for building such a nice place. Thank you for coming to Berryessa Neighborhood.

Gorgeous facility with everything you could want. They even offer day care while you work out! They have an indoor pools (one for laps, the other is a water slide park for kids), not to mention 3 more pools outside which are huge! Bathrooms and locker rooms are spotless, this place puts Club Sport to SHAME. I was a member at Club Sport for about a decade, I’m so glad I switched!

Love this place! Totally feels like a resort! Everyone is great that works there and love my trainer Ray Hicks!! The only thing I would say that needs some attention is that kids user the gym equipment not properly, some of them I dont think are even old enough to be up there. Other than that, love everything! The people in the daycare are are great too.

Great gym! A bit pricey for the monthly rate, but has a ton of amenities. Classes actually challenge you, basketball court that can double as a volleyball court, multiple pools, jacquizzis, saunas, and childcare! And everyone is so sweet here, like a community.

The pool is never staffed, always closed. Also, the grill outside has been closed whenever we want to order food. No loud announcement made indicating that it will be closed, even after order was taken for my food. For the price you pay for the membership, the services, such as the bar, seem like they are hardly ever open. They never discount the membership so I dont know why they keep closing services. Whenever we show up, services or amenities that we want to use such as pool or bar are not open.

Great club, Im here often. Still needs some work. They havent gotten all the fitness classes on the schedule yet, and their cafe really needs work. Out of everything so far, the best area is the villa kids. Second is the spa, and last would be the cafe. Mostly due to poor service, food itself is ok but their drinks need work! Pool is very nice with a nice water slide too.

My review is based on a manicure & pedicure service.Honestly, I debated on whether or not to post this because I dont want to compete for future appointments. But I think good talent & great work ethic should be recognized. My nail technician, TraLani Nguyen is a gem! Shes clean with her work, lets you relax and takes her time to make sure the work she does is up to your standards. Not to mention the times Ive seen her Im usually the only customer getting my nails done at the spa! Sure its a little pricer than other places, but for the VIP treatment and cleanliness, Im willing to save my pennies for it!

It was good at the beginning but the pools has become extremely crowded recently and I couldnt swim in couple of visits. No hygiene policy is being enforced. Its very common to have one pool closed because of an accident.

Worst service provided. Management does not refund accordingly when terminating membership. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE: $300+ for a family of 3!!! Its not worth your money. Take a vacation instead. Cardio machines upstairs are very limited. $20 monthly fee gyms have more machines than Villa-sport. During the times that I would work out 6am-8am and 5pm -10pm the gym reminded me of the mall or the flea market. There are children, teenagers and adults running every which way! The pool is the only place you might be able to have family time. Other than that you basically check your child in and go into a crowded gym waiting for people to leave you favorite workout area. Ask ANYBODY!! Their spa/ massage service is overpriced no one uses it. Stay away and save your money. Youll enjoy it for the 1st month and then will want to leave after paying your initial fee $150 each, or more plus the months worth so for a family of 3 an initial fee of about $500/ $600!!

, no waitingBest place for family fun, kids have activities and classes like swimming, water polo, basketball, volleyball, summer camps and more. Theres bingo night for free, special events like wine tasting, Halloween, Xmas, Aloha events. And yes, a place to workout with the most modern and quality equipment. They also have a phletora of workout classes. Theres so much more... Its clean, clean, clean! And no one bothers you when youre working out, little waiting time too.

The place is very modern, clean and well equipped . Some staff are very friendly and courteous some are extremely rude as if they own the place .I had a session with one of the fitness trainer named Cecili - She was late 10 minutes for appointment and then session went ok . At the end of session she was trying to sell the package by saying “ Aren’t you serious to loose 30 pounds “? rather than giving me the time to think about money I will be spending. She made me feel very low rather than encouraging towards achieving my fitness goals . I did not want to go back to her and feel that ever again.I hope Villa sport takes serious effort in hiring the right staff with right credentials and heart for people.

This club is amazing. Gym is ALWAYS clean and alot bigger than it looks. They had a huge indoor and outdoor pool! Lots of great classes and all the state of the art treadmills and cardio machines. What really sold us was the day care. My son loves Villa kids, they have several spacious play rooms which they rotate from and you can leave them up to 2.5 hrs while you get your work out on. My son adjusted really quick and loves the socializing and games. The dues are pricey, but sometimes you can get discounted enrollment fees on certain days at the end of the year. All in all, I love this place.

First things first, I work here as an associate. No one asked me to write this view and opinions are of my own as both a member and a worker. The facility itself is extremely clean and attentive to detail when it comes to workers, members, and facilities. I dont work in Housekeeping, and as a member I know they work extremely hard in following VillaSports goal of being sparkling clean. Overall I can just say VillaSport spares no expense and does not compromise when it comes to their services and facilities. Downside to the Bering perfectionists and making sure everything is state of the art is it causes the delayed opening date. Looking forward to opening though

We were the first ones to join the club and we do like the club. But when it comes to cleaniness, the club needs improvement. The showers, especially in the women side, are dirty – the hair is all over the walls and floors, and in the locker area the carpet is full of hair. I have witnessed people eating oranges in the shower and leaving peels in there and no body picks it up. The showers in the women side have standing water as they are not draining adequately. In the steam room people leave cups, dirty towels and again there is hair all over.I have seen staff watching TV, even changing channels to their liking, while they should be doing their job.I hope that the establishment takes this seriously since it benefits all.Thanking you in anticipation,Sincerely,Niki

Simeon (Zumba instructor) shows great character, puts passion into his craft and showers high level of energy towards the members. He is very motivating and above all he makes his classes fun! You will tell before you enter his class as there is always a big line

VillaSport is a huge building on the corner of Berryessa and N. Capitol. I was curious about just what this massive building was going to be so I stopped in and spoke with Will, their General Manager. Jealous its not closer to home!

There are much cheaper health clubs much closer to our house, but this one is worth the money and extra travel time. I need to swim regularly because of a back condition so having four pools to choose from means you are rarely in want of an empty lane, plus the amenities are excellent.

It is Good place to swim, especially in summer, but I have to wait almost everytime, the swimming class occupied too much swimming lanes. I just doubt we pay for the membership, why should we wait to swimming. the thing is 60% of lanes are occupied for class. that is disappointed.
