I am very happy with the leaf filter installation on the gutters. The installers were very professional and thorough. They also cleaned up the debris when they were clearing out the gutters. Any concern and questions I had were answered on the spot. I had additional questions which I forgot to ask during the installation day. They were answered by the customer service person and even sent somebody to my home to make sure any of my concerns were addressed.
I used this company for gutter installation. The best points of my experience were the price, the customer services and the job looks GREAT! Its rare that you call a business that you see on television and actually get a GREAT customer service experience, especially when you are working with contractors, but this job was great and everyone from the sales guy to the installers was high quality. Would DEFINITELY recommend this service!

From beginning to end, this is one big scam! My husband insisted that we needed gutter guards, and he researched the companies and thought these were the best... Now we think very differently!The initial quote was crazy - like well into the 5 figure range. The guy ended up making some calls and came down by 80% or something, so my husband agreed. I thought it was still too much, but my husband was very persuaded that we needed this product. The installation took less than 1/2 a day, and left a HUGE mess! The installation person took the stuff out of our gutters and left it on the ground. It stained our driveway and brand new patio (Im not happy!). I called the company, and the manager said the company would take care of the stains and power washed the area. That never happened! Instead, 3 different guys came out to look at the stains, agreed it was stained and said someone else would come clean it. But nobody ever actually did the power wash! Its now be MONTHS! No word from the company.On top of the fact that they ruined our driveway and patio, the gutter guards are a joke! We had to have our roof replaced months after these were installed. The roofer said that the guards werent even installed correctly at all at the back of the house (like parts just set in there), and the rest was literally pieced together scraps across the whole house. The roofer has no skin in the game - he initially thought his team would be able to reinstall them, but after seeing what had been done was unable to work with them. The guards now sit in a pile by the side of our house. A complete waste of $4k!!! Avoid this company at all costs.
I had an appointment with someone from the company. He never identified himself. I said hello. The first thing he said was “ Do the lights go around the entire house “? No hello or anything. I said no. He said well the lights will have to come down. I said do you put them back. He said no. I said it cost me $700.00 to have them up. I said can we do it after the holidays? he said the price will be different. I asked him what is the cost. He said I can’t give you a price until next time I come. I said I thought you were here to give me an estimate? He was very rude. I would NEVER do business with this company. I will NEVER refer this company to anyone. Shame on you for hiring such a unprofessional person.

This is my first time installing gutter protection. After reading some reviews I was skeptical - but the job turned out really clean!!!I looked around and this was by far the best system for my application. All my gutters drain into a single system and into a percolation pit, so its important to protect the system from debris.The Leaffilter system is solid from an engineering and design perspective. Good material, fitment and low impact installation.The sales rep was knowledge and spent time answering all my question about the product and worked my budget. The installer was top notch! He was prompt, professional, and took the time do a really clean job. He laid out cardboard to protect our deck from his ladder, walked me through the final results, and didnt leave a single piece scrap material behind. All seems, corners and end-caps were dialed!
LeafFilter was installed last summer (August?). The installer finished the job very quickly, which made me suspicious. i went up and found several issues with the installation.Firstly, the gutter clean-up was far from thorough. I found a lot of debris still left in the gutter (now under the LeafFilter so that I couldnt clean them up myself). Secondly, I found gaps at multiple corners.The installer left me his card and asked me to call him if I have an issue. So, I did and he came back to address issues above. Its my mistake to call him instead of contacting LeafGutter HQ directly.He made the situation even worse by putting a cheap (NOT LeafFilters protector) gutter protector over the corner to paper over gaps.When the rain started to come in Winter, the rain water overflowed at multiple places.This time, I contacted LeafFilter HQ and they sent me a very competent technician (itd have been even better to send him right away instead of a few weeks after my call). He addressed all the issues and the system has worked well since.LeafFilter should introduce a system of reflecting customer feedback in rating installer/contractors performance. Otherwise, unlucky customers like me would end up with bad installation.
My gutters were a mess! They cleaned, sealed the gutters and installed the Leaf filter gutter guards. The left the property clean!
Installed their patented gutter guards on my house. I wont have to use my leaf blower to clear out the gutters while walking on my roof in the future. Have only had them installed for a couple weeks, but anticipate them working as advertised. If they dont Il change my review.
We are very happy with our Leaf Filter gutter protection system - it keeps junk out of our gutters, me off of the ladder, and looks great! James gave us a professional-level education on the product (I feel like a company rep now), and a great deal for the value! Top that off with a quick (same week) and professional install - so glad we did our research and contacted a Leaf Filter!
This review is for services provided in SF, Bay Area, San Jose, CA. I had the products installed on June16, 2020 and after the first major rain in November, the rain water flowed over the gutter and came down like a waterfall in several places. Unfortunately, the worst spot is outside of our bedroom and water hits hard on the window and its frame, makes a lot of noise. The noise wakes us up every time it rains. We called customer support and they informed us that the earliest appointment was three weeks away. The technician came out and thought that installing extra down spouts to divert the water flow, it should prevent the over flow. He used pvc pipes instead of actual pipes for rain gutter, and promised he would come back and paint them nicely, but he never did. Not only that he left screws and debris from installing pvc pipes all over our property. Furthermore, the issue repeated itself when it rained again. I called customer support and again, the next available appointment was three weeks away. I called the service manager, Robert if he can send someone sooner, but he said there was no availability. We explained that the noise is so loud and we cannot sleep, but he said there is nothing he can do. The technician, Spencer did not even show up, and I had to escalate the issue with the customer support. This time service manager and technician came out, and ran some tests, and determined that the grits from the roof is clogging the mesh and causing the over flow. I was telling them that it does not function as their advertisements and guarantees said “you would never have to clean your gutter again.” They cleaned the face of gutter protectors and Robert explained their product prevents leaves and other debris from entering the gutter, and not clean the inside of the gutter again. It is technically true since grits and debris clog the mesh and nothing goes in the gutter including the rainwater. Water overflows like not having gutters at all. Our gutters are now heavily stained. Robert also said they install their products to a thousand of homes per week, and there is 1% of homes that their product won’t work. We explained several times that the noise keeps waking us up every time it rains and asked for removal and refund, but he just brushed off our claim and we need to call the support if it clogs again.So every time we called customer support, the appointment is at least three weeks out and the company does not seem to care that we are deprived from sleep. The filter has a life money back guarantee if the filters ever fail or not fully satisfied. We have more issues after the installation than before and Leaf Filter gave us run around and refuses to back what they advertise. I have had only regrets since the purchase of LeaF Filter. I also noticed that the class action lawsuit is filed against them in December 2020, and the claims are exactly what we are experiencing. We wish we read all the complaints posted on BBB/other websites before we made the decision. Beware - The class action also states that the company makes an effort to scrub the internet of consumer complaints. Although our review is based on our honest experience with them, we afraid that they do the same for our review.Responding to LeafFilter’s comment.As I stated in my original comment above, service manager and technician came and assessed the situation. Service manager promised to my husband that he will send the report and regional sales director, Zack Morrison will give us a call with resolution, but we have not received any phone call nor report. This is another example of LeafFilter giving us runaround and does not want to take any responsibility of its products and advertisements. It’s unfortunate that we really wanted support the US Manufacturing/Business, and we assume it’s one of the factors for other customers to decide the purchase. It’s too bad that support is not mutual for LeafFilter to its customers. If the company can afford to sponsor NASCAR and Tucker Carlson on Fox, I am sure it can honor the guarantee and refund money.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that your installer, Philippe Hernandez did an excellent job yesterday. He was on time, did the installation, and cleaned everything up nicely. As we rarely hear from customers when we do well, I feel it is important to let companies know when their people do a good job. Thank you.
Said work would take one full day and maybe two. Would send out crew to do the work. Only one man showed up, did not clean gutters and was done in one and one half hours. Then he backed his truck up across the street and ran into my parked car causing major damage. He has no proof of insurance. Local sales rep Mike Sabin does not return my calls and leaf filter customer service is not answering calls and their mailbox is full. To top it all off, a reliable roofing company estimated that I was ripped off on the price. This company is a scam.
The salesman is only out to make a sale. They pitched matching filter and runner colors and did not match. They originally put up white when we ordered a bronze color. The gutters weren’t flush and the filter didn’t cover the gutter. When they came to replace the gutters and It was a different color then what was positioned. We tried to contact the salesman who sold us the product but he was nowhere to be found. The contractors didn’t try to match colors and but up mismatching gutters and returned to cuss us out in front of the neighborhood when we told the installers the colors didn’t match. It was pretty horrible customer service once the product was ordered. They whole process is way more stressful than just writing the check and handing it over for a job well done. Rough experience and if you decide to go with this company good luck to you. I just don’t find it was worth the cost in stress
My property is surrounded by neighbors trees. Happy that I will not be dealing with cleaning my gutters. I will know more when it rains.

We were very excited when we first got this product but it it went downhill from there.We had some issues which we we told someone would come out in the next week to fix. No one showed up. Tried several more time with the same results. Finally got someone out and supposedly they fixed the issues. NOSame issue dripping coming from underneath their system and of course the only place it is doing so is in front of the main entrance. Called again and another person came out and again supposedly fixed the issue. They don’t understand why it is doing what it is doing. After multiple attempts we still have a length of gutter that is dripping due to the leaf filter system.Their customer service is horrible. They say someone will be out and no one shows. They say someone will call to schedule and no one does. We can spend days trying to get ahold of someone. We are tired of the whole thing and wish we had never installed the system.The sales person made promises about how the system would work and was very misleading. I definitely do not recommend Lead Filter
By comparison, I was convinced that the Leaf Filter product was of a better quality (compared to others) during the presentation by the factory representative, Jon Hull. The type of material use to manufacture the filter, the way the filter is made, how debris are prevented entry into the gutter, and how the installation is done without disturbing the integrity of the roof, were strong points I liked. The rep also offered me a good price that was hard to refuse.Need improvement for a 5.a) The installation was not equal to the quality of the product. I got up on the ladder to check water leaking from some areas in the gutter. I found gaps between the roof and the filter corner seams. They were not perfect angles and the filter was not installed flushed to the roof. These should have been in order to serve its purpose of impeding entry of debris into the gutter.b) I was given an appointment for repairs of the leak with a three hour window time. The three hours passed with no one showing up and no calls made. The following morning, I dialed the Service Office 800# several times and was unsuccessful. I called Jon Hull to get assistance. He said he would follow up. I did not hear from anyone regarding the outcome of the follow up. The next morning, someone was at my front door, introduced himself, and informed me that he was doing the repairs. It was coincidental that I was home, I could have been out. Communication could have been much better. I would have appreciated a call explaining why no one showed up on the first appointed date and also let me know when the re-scheduled appointment would take place..
Ive being searching for a long time for an effective way to prevent leaves from my Oak Tree from clogging up all my gutters and causing drainage problems., also the hazard of climbing a ladder to sweep out the leaves. I was happy to have found the fine screen leaf filter which kept the leaves out especially with all the rain and wind weve been having. The LeafFilter person did an efficient job and I appreciated the followup inspection the next day.
Had a vendor come out to demonstrate the product and measure the roof for a cost estimate. It all looked reasonable and I went ahead to schedule the install.The contract gives you three days to cancel in case you have second thoughts. While I did not have second thoughts I did call to change the order. The operator took my number and said the supervisor would have to call back.I did not get a return call so I called again the second day to make sure they can accommodate the change.Still no response so I called on the third day but this time it was to cancel. And guess what, within 30 minutes the supervisor returned my call. Sorry, but by this time I lost faith in the company’s ability to communicate other than when sales is involved.
SCAM.... Charged $1500.00 to clean, add supports, and seal my gutters. They washed them down with water and dabbed calk on the outside of the gutters. I still have small holes in the couplings and corners. The biggest thing is the Technician showed a total of two hours for $173.00. I tried to call the Company a few times with no answer, I then called the sales person -- He told me to call the office. So I canceled the check after I inspected his work. DONT DO IT. Call a handyman.......

I never had problems with my gutters until I spent $3k buying LeafFilters product. My goal was to cover the 2nd floor gutters so I would not have to clean them annually to remove leaves, branches, etc. Instead, the first rain caused all 3 of my gutters to overflow and run down my gutter, house walls and into landscaping, instead of going down the drain. I contacted the warranty dept that scheduled me for a TUE, the local San Jose branch called 1 hour later to reschedule to a WED and told me the tech would call me 1-2 days before to confirm. No one called so I called the branch manager 3 times and he NEVER returned my calls. The technician did not show up on the service date so I called and they said he would be leaving the shop shortly (1-1.5 hours after the window that I was given) but it was obvious they forgot the appointment. Tech is supposed to come out on FRI so we will see if he can fix the botched install job that their contractor did. I regret moving forward with this company - doing the math I could just pay to have the gutters cleaned for many years before recouping my investment. Terrible customer service so far all around. Its as if I am their 1st customer and they are learning as they go.

The crew did not do a good cleanup. They dripped silicone sealant all over the pavers and concrete around the house, which was very difficult to remove. I was told LeafFilter does not use subcontractors, but these were clearly subcontractors. I was told my credit card would not be charged until the job was done and I had approved the work, but my card was charged before the work was completed. On the day the crew was scheduled to arrive, between 8-10am, they did not arrive until after noon and did not call to let me know they were running late.
