Great place, cheap hair cut from barber students. Victor was super friendly and gave me a great hair cut and beard trim.

This is my go to barber now. I havent been to a barber before because I usually go to a salon for $10 but after to going to barber academy Ive been going to them for my cuts everything. Shout out to victor who is the one who cuts my hair perfecto all the time!!

It’s amazing place to get haircut. All haircuts are performed by students who are going to be future barbers. The place is clean and hyginic. For walk-ins they charge $5 bucks and they take appointments also but for fixed rates. You can go, give it a try for a new look :)

So the price is right, and they do end up with you walking out looking good. But you’ll pay in time not money, we are talking 2 1/2 hours to give a basic trim with faded sides, this is what we get every 2 weeks and it should take 1/2 an hour.Also don’t expect a professional environment, loud “gangster “ rap music and the students just sitting around bsing, ignoring clients who walk in until they feel like breaking up their conversation to greet them.This wont work for everyone but it is a decent deal!

Great service, they really take their time to make sure everything is right. Unbeatable price ($5!) and every bit as talented barbers as youd find anywhere else. Be sure to tip, these are students getting their hours towards their license.

Messed my hair super bad.. wont recommend anyone to come here.they are not even close to a good hair cut. They are students but if you like your hair . This is not the place to get your hair cut..They took 1 hour to mess up .. which hardly 20 mins job in other shop. Go for 10 dollar get your hair cut done really good.5 dollars are waste ..

Clean, friendly, and professional. For $5 I was expecting a mediocre haircut, but I was wrong. Barbers here put effort to perfect your haircut. Def coming back again.

Seems to me like a place where largely unsupervised students cut hair, which is a problem for a beauty school. I dont mind giving students an opportunity to practice but my feedback would be that supervising students is likely to improve both their learning experience and customer satisfaction. At no point during my 2 hour haircut did an instructor show any interest in what my student was doing in spite of her struggle with a zero fade. The student retried to do it 3 or 4 times, after which i finally gave up and left. Unlikely a student would go in the backroom and ask an instructor to help given that the unavailability of the instructors seemed to be a running joke amongst students. I saw 2 instructors literally pop their heads in once during the entire 2 hours to give a thumbs up, which was followed by students giggling at the pointlesness of the gesture.

Walked out with a bad haircut today. From the older bigger African American male, I asked for a mid taper and he went almost to the top on the sides and could not properly blend the taper when it starts to go behind the ears. I just did my taxes today and had to pay 1,300$ and walking out with a bad haircut today just made my day worse hopefully I’ll be able to fix this at my house with my clippers (I was too lazy to cut my hair today & wanted to check out the barber academy) p.s. I’m glad I didn’t trust him to clean my beard up because I was skeptical on even getting a taper tbh I’m mad but at the same time I understand it’s a school for barbering and should not have expected a perfect cut.

I REALLY REGRET GOING THERE.. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE .. I took my 3yrs old son there.. the lady who was supposed to cut his hair was rude .. she doesn’t know how to smile and didn’t put any effort to be friendly.. He refused to sit in the chair and wanted to sit in another one and was a little scared, as I was calming him down and talking to him, she told me to take him cuz no one is gonna give him a haircut..She literally said”just take him” I’m still shocked.. I mean is it acceptable to talk to customers like this?!!!!My sister was planning to get a haircut but she changed her mind right after this

I had 0 experience cutting hair but I always wanted to cutt hair my inspiration came from the barber who cuts my hair I seen the energy and happyness my barber had and the smile on his clients face and it is priceless.Since I started the academy I have learned to cutt many types of hair as well as different styles my whole life Ive always wanted to proud of work I put in and have others enjoy that happiness as well.I work around other barbers and they are like family we all help each other out laugh and cut hair Ive never bin to another barber school but I think this place is for anyone who is trying to be the best
