Waynes been my barber for over 20 years great guy. So yes I highly recommend this place.

I asked if he had time to cut my hair, it was 45 minutes before he closed and there was no one there, he said no. I said i just want a quick cut, he said there are no more quick cuts. I gound A+Barber, he gave me a quick cut. It looked great and the price was very reasonable.

Most likely worst barber shop I’ve ever been too. Never listen to details and the barbers just would rather do their own thing.

Completely messed up my hair. I asked for an extremely simple zero to one fade on the sides with longer on top. She gave ONE of my sides a zero to one fade, and made the other side have literally no fade and made it zero all the way up until where its parted because it looked like thats what the last barber did. That doesnt even make sense. Terrible service, highly discourage anyone from going here.

A barber is the only person whose conversation you can follow, even though he talks over your head.―UnknownIve been getting my haircut by Mario over in Alum Rock for almost the past 18 years, and I still prefer to go there as Im a loyal person. Unfortunately, with my busy schedule lately I havent had time to make the forty minute round-trip over there and took a chance coming to Almaden Barbers as theyre only five minutes from the pad. Heres a little TLDR action:Location- Not too far deep in The Den and in a nice strip mall that includes a sushi joint, Middle Eastern grocery store and one of my new favorite places to eat Mos.Cost- $17 (cash only) which is more expensive than the hack-and-slash places you can find elsewhere, but lets just say you get what you pay for.Service- On both my visits Ive seen Mr James Do whos quick, silent and efficient. I think he was a Ninja in a past life...Ambiance- Clean and quiet shop thats full of old timers talking about their kids and grand kids. Real old sKool kinda place, ja dig?Cut- Mr Do keeps it tight. He does an excellent job and gives me what I ask for. Altho, granted Im pretty simple, but people can screw up the simplest things. I love that he blends my sideburns into my beard if theyre not quite at the same length; a lot of barbers wont on principle because they feel like they would have to charge you for a beard trim??? He also did a good job on my squirmy 6-year-old on my first visit.Overall Almaden Barbers is a solid 1A spot for me when I need a quick and fast haircut―Im usually in and out in less that twenty minutes. I think they prefer calling ahead to make appointments, but I aint got time for that noise, son! Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease.
