Great, old school barbershop with a lot of a character and charm; youll look great when theyre done with your haircut.They also sell mens grooming supplies, like shaving soaps and creams, razors, pomade, combs, etc. So if you need anything like that, they have a great selection to choose from.

Ive gotten multiple cuts from here and call to ask how to make an appointment being i have not got one in over a year and the lady says we dont make em but there is no one here rn so come on in. Being busy I go tomorrow morning and upon walking in im greeted rudly like if I dont belong in there and ask if I can get a hair cut and am told no u have to make an appointment..that was the lady who has cut my hair before. I will never come back.

Went in early 2013 and I like to wear my hair kind of long. When he says that he specializes in pompadours he means it, he really wants to give you a pompadour. Went in for a trim and came out pretty shaved down. Nice guys though, and they have a good pomade.

Awesome, throwback style place. The barbers are fantastic and very meticulous in their cuts. Go in lookin frumpy, leave lookin like a snack and feelin a million bucks. I used to pay less for my haircuts, but this place is well worth a little extra.

Arrived early was the first one in the door. I got a chance to talk with Jose about what I was looking for. He gave me some advice asked me more questions as he started cutting, made sure I got the cut I wanted. I did a search on yelp and Google the night before on this place and others like it. Hands down one of the best cuts and experience I have ever had after getting my haircut! In addition to the haircut I got some, JS SLOANE Beard Oil & Imperial Blacktop Pomade. They got a ton of product to make sure you come out looking your best.I just got to say the time and effort was much appreciated, but be warned the wait time can be long, but once you sit down in the chair you will understand why.

I like this place a lot. The cuts are done right, beard trims are on point, Im always offered a water or root beer, and if theres a game being played its on the TV. Sometimes the wait can get long, I believe its walk-ins only, so my advice is try to go during the week when most people would be working (take an early/late lunch or something). Also its best if you know what exactly you want done, its a barber shop, not a beauty salon.In the supply side theres plenty of hair products and Im always offered a comb. And if you like cats theres usually one or a couple roaming around.I can see why some complain about the parking, but I always walk there so... I dunno, too bad.

This place may have potential Im not sure because on the phone they said no problem walk ins are what we do here then got off thephone. I show up to find that I will have to wait an hour and when I asked the lady cutting hair about how long it will be she became short with me almost trying to convince me not to stay by saying I should go if I have other things to do. On the way out I said by and thanks anyway to which I got no response then I left. I will never return to this location or recommend this shop.

A quality cut, if youre willing to wait.Do not go here if you have somewhere to be in the next two hours. This shop will give you a quality cut hard to find elsewhere, but its becoming more well known and, with only three chairs, there will be a wait. Take the time to put your name in and go for a stroll. Next door (in the same building) you can pick up a complimentary can of root beer or ginger ale while browsing hair supplies or get your shoes shined. Down the street is the School of Visual Philosophy if youd like to talk about art or see some being made with the I Java Cafe next door for a snack while you wait.The haircuts are inexpensive when compared to stylists, but at $25 are more than what youd get at SuperCuts. The quality is beyond that which Ive gotten from $70+ stylists as Stevens full-razor cut (an extra $5, but worth it) will hold its shape and keep feeling great weeks later than something done with shears!The atmosphere of the shop brings you back thirty, forty years as youre almost required to converse with your barber, but thats a good thing. Each of them is a personality and has stories for days, something thatll keep your mind busy while the cuts being done.
