A great tour company that provides a wealth of information in a fun way. If you have limited time in SF, their tours are the best way to see a lot in a short amount of time.

DO NOT BOOK A TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY. The company was forced to close down but had no courtesy to email customers, we showed up only to find a sign posted that they were forced to stop operations. Its highly un professional and irresponsible practice.

Top tour of San Francisco. Visited lots of sites. Kathy was great. Good commentary, beautiful date. Ferry cruise was better than expected. Everything was smooth and ran on-time. Bus/van was really, really nice.

Comprehensive tour of the city. Ferry ride from Sausalito was a surprise. commentary included cool things like Sausalito was originally misspelled but the decided to keep the name. Academy of Sciences Museum is insulated with Levis blue jeans and the grass roof is mowed by sheep. Victorian homes were named after Queen Victoria who ruled for about 60 years. Interesting stuff we only could have learned by taking a tour with these folks. Thanks for the great tour.

This is how you tour! Right on time, a small black van pulls up and we were blown away to see the inside. Tall roof where you can stand up inside, with large captains seats, and a TV set. Made about 11 tour stops, with a couple downhill walks. We saw so many double decker tours with people freezing outside and having to walk up hills while we were in a luxury van. No comparison. We walked down Lombard street (we saw people having to walk up), stopped at the victorian homes, stopped at cable car museum, Grace and Japanese Tea Garden. Of course, we did many stops in and around the Golden Gate Bridge. Tour ended via a bay cruise boat back to the starting point. Best tour!

Great day on the Premium City Tour. Small tour group, nice spacious van with phone charging options, complimentary water, 5 star service, lots of tour stops, great commentary. Cant ask for anything more. Book with these folks.

The 9 Hour tour was well planned. Chinatown, Grace Cathedral, Nob Hill, Alamo Square Park and Golden Gate Bridge were excellent stops on our way to San Francisco respectively. Our tour guide was very helpful and well prepared for the trip. We went on all the elective tour. It was appeal spending the extra money. The cost for the tour was right based on the hotels that we stayed. It was great!

Our one day San Francisco Combo tour was amazing. It starts from ferry building to 13 stops includes Muir woods and Smaller group shuttles end with ferry building. Our guide was answered all our questions, very caring, and helping us with everything. I can highly recommend San Francisco Tours and will definitely book them again for my next San Francisco trip!

DO NOT BOOK! Company is permanently closed. However, their website is still active and they are continuing to accept tour bookings that will never commence. Extremely dodgy. I received an email outlining their company closure with NO information whatsoever about how my money will be refunded or when. Judging by other reviews, this has happened in June, yet I only got an email now (late July) about my tour next week being cancelled. They could have notified much earlier but instead are leaving their website open to phish people and rob them of their money!! I have done this tour before so they were genuine once upon a time. Luckily, I have rebooked a similar tour with Dylans Tours. If you need something similar, go there instead.

Booking was the worst experience EVER! The web site was a breeze...only an hour later I received an email with an over booking issue. Change made. The next day I received another email with yet another issue with a different tour. This time, due to park service regulations, the company couldnt re-book it so they blamed it on me! I somehow used their website wrong?!!! Laughable. I called customer service and the rep continued to tell me that i did something wring and kept talking over me! All i ask is to be called with a solution, not accusations that i used their site wring. Their site clearly has TONS of discrepancies! At this point FURIOUS!

Easily one of the worst travel experiences Ive ever had. Honestly if I had the option to give 0 stars I would. Firstly, the tour guide was over 20 minutes late and we were left contacting the company to confirm the tour was still on. Each stop was AT MOST 10 minutes, while you spent the vast majority of time in a bus. Not at all the experience they suggest on their website. They did not drop us off back at our hotel even though we paid for this service and asked the tour guid, the reason provided was the driver is in a bad mood. That same driver was also the reason we were stuck outside the bus at one stop as he was napping in the back. But to my dismay this wasnt the worst service Id receive through the company. I than called twice and emailed over 5 times to share my experience and received one email back saying they were reviewing the matter... its now been over a month. Honestly Im not one to complain and have done a number of different tours around the world, truthfully this is the worst service Ive ever received. Absolutely would not recommend.

This familiarity was not just an extra activity bus ride as it can be in numerous cities. The tour follows a great direction where informative and often funny annotations are made. It is solitary of the best behaviors to make out the city and get your bearing.

My family members all are on our first visit to San Francisco and it was positively one of the best things and we have done. Phil was our driver/guide did an amazing job. He was very well-informed as well as humorous, which ended the visit that a great deal superior.

We took the 5 hour tour and it was a good deal to do it given our very limited time in San Francisco. Id recommend that you spend less time eating at Sausalito and get a few more sights in but the rest of the sights were well covered. We did feel rushed at times but when I look back at it, we did cover a lot. Our tour guide, Kyle, was good, but was sometimes too long winded and taking about his experiences with another tour company (Grayline). Will recommend this for optimal coverage.

The Yosemite 2 Day Train Tour was awesome with super good guides. First day we are a heavy night (and morning) on Yosemite View Lodge Hotel. It is very near to valley floor of Yosemite. Yosemite train tour places are Yosemite Valley, lake views, Guided walks, park, Inspiration Point, Half Dome. It was a great experience for us.

Our one day Yosemite Train Tour was wonderful! I enjoyed every minute of the trip! We got to see Ferry Building, National Park and Valley within such a restricted amount of time. Overall it was enjoyable trip.

We did the 5 hour visit of San Francisco. Was a superior tour. We took the ferry to Sausalito & jump on the shuttle from there; this was great while we avoided all the transfer gridlock imminent onto Golden Gate Bridge from differing track. Would have been enormous to have a few free proceedings in Chinatown to grip an iced...

One honest advice to anyone planning a trip through sanfranshuttletours, please dont miss the opportunity of traveling with these people. You are sure to explore the sights to its fullest when you sign up for the services. They made our trip a pleasurable one… Thanks to the entire team.

Palace of fine arts...we didn’t go inside instead stood on sidewalk by houses. Given 45 min to go around golden gate park....walking into park ate 10 min. We weren’t dropped off at pier 39 like they said. Boring! We will never do this tour again. The only positive was Cathy the tour guide. shuttle windows were filthy.

We visited San Francisco and take the 5 hour first-class city tour. We required to affix the local desired tour but were learned that it ended in September. We were given a tremendous tour. We really enjoyed the combination of the riding and walking tour.

We visited San Francisco and took the 3 days premium city tour. We sought to add the local favorite tour but were conversant that it ended in September. Our tour guide was Judith and the driver was Fernando. We were given a terrific tour. Judith was very conversant and enlightening and kept the tour perfectly paced. We really enjoy the grouping of the riding and walking tour. Judith and Fernando were extremely cooperative to anyone with boundaries. Fernando was an brilliant driver. So glad we took this tour. Thank you!

Excellent Napa valley tour! Very informative and the wineries were not so crowded. You get a more personalised experience. Loved it!

I visited San Francisco wine country with help of SFTours. They will shuttle us privately from any San Francisco hotel to the Wine Country. We stayed with the same driver who was very genial and always made sure we were happy. Each and every time we arrived at a new place SFTours would contact us to check we were happy with our accommodation and travel- it was beautiful our tour in my life…!

Had a city tour booked for May 30th and due to cancellation by the airline, couldnt make the tour. Called 48 hours out but only was refunded 70%. That just doesnt seem fair!! Would NEVER use or recommend this company to anyone.

After a bumpy unfortunate start, the tour ended up great. I am giving this tour a 4-star rating due to the amazing job our tour guide, Kyra and driver, Charles, did at redeeming what what began as an unfortunate situation. Our small group met at the shuttle by Pier 39 as instructed, after touring Alcatraz. Our shuttle driver, Charles, began driving through the city and after we asked where we were headed, he informed us that we were picking up the tour guide (which was our second question). Half and hour later, after driving across the Golden Gate Bridge without stopping, we ended up in Sausalito not knowing fully what was going on. One of the tourists ended up calling the main number to SF Shuttle Tours and then informed us that we were actually meeting up with another tour group because we were under-booked. According to the driver, he didnt know what was going on, but was only driving us where he was told to. Why SF Shuttle Tours didnt communicate to the driver to inform us of what was going on was beyond us. A short statement would have avoided a lot of our frustration. All we knew was that we were driving for 1/2 hour across SF and the Golden Gate Bridge without a tour guide. It seemed like an expensive bus ride at than point. The tour guide, Kyra, took the time to listen to our complaints and questions after the other group boarded the bus. She was not only gracious but she told us the situation that occurred (that we already knew by that point). After apologizing for our late start, Kyra began our tour. Because we were in Sausalito at that point, she gave us a bonus bus tour of the area informing us about this charming little town on our way back to San Francisco. We had a wonderful extended tour because of this, due to Kyras diligence and patience. Hats off to her for making lemonade out of what began as a sour situation. Our tour covered everything as promised and more, thanks to our tour guide and driver that got us everywhere safely and efficiently. Recommend this tour for families with teens (a little too rigorous for little ones due to lots of walking up and down hills and steps); great for groups and couples. I do not recommend this tour for people with mobility issues due to walking up/down inclines and up/down steps at a good pace. Recommend wearing tennis shoes and keep a jacket handy as the Bay Area wind can become chilly at times.

Terrible. Asked for 100pct payment upfront which I did, multiple thousands of dollars. Then they let us down (all 18 of us) by cancelling with no reasonable explanation.Disgusting company: avoid at all costs.

UNETHICAL! They failed to provide me with a full 85% refund as promised on their website and then ignored my email requests to be paid the remaining balance I was due. Based on my experience, they are purposely shorting customers when issuing refunds and if so, they likely owe thousands of dollars in refunds.

Agree, do not use this company. The only reason they received one star is because I had to choose something. They cancelled a portion of our tour and said they would refund us and now we are out over $200! Terrible way to run a business!

This is a fraud. They never turned up and all our tour plan was wasted. I called up 4 times and waited for almost two hours. They did not even bother to call us back, all they lied was the driver is minutes away. Never book your trip here. I rate them the worst in sfo. Zero os what i love to give these idiots

They were right; it was San Francisco’s most comprehensive tours. The tour guide was a walking Wikipedia; we were equipped with loads of interesting facts about the place. My wife and I had a trip planned to San Francisco and booked this tour. My wifes mother has Stage IV cancer. She took a sudden turn for the worse about 24 hours before our trip. The doctors say she is probably going to die in the next day or two. We, of course, now dont want to leave town. Our airline and hotel were very understanding and accomodating. This organization told me on the phone to send them an email explaining the situation. I recieved a generic prewritten response that said that they will never give a refund with less than 72 hours notice no matter what the circumstances and then proceeded to basically chastise me for not buying their not inexpensive trip insurance. Im disappointed about the money. But moreso, I find the fact that they have a generic email precomposed for (death in the family/cancelled flight/etc.) that they just blanket email to anyone asking for a refund to be very callous. And the fact they want to capitalize on a dying family member to chastise you the customer and extol the virtues of trip insurance disgusts me even more.
