This hotel is absolutely amazing. From the valet staff, front desk, concierge and butlers, just 5 star service. Everyone I have encounter her is above the top on service. The room is beautiful and clean. The decor is quality and the view is beautiful. In my opinion the St. Regis is well worth the money. You definitely get what you came for. Blocks away from all the best shopping. Restaurants galore. Come stay here.

The room and room service is good. Other than that rest of the service is not good, very very disappointing. We stayed over the weekend and neither the restaurant or the bar was open. I don’t want this to be chalked as COVID issue it is not. This place is worse than a courtyard Marriott experience, at least they charge commensurate prices. For folks who are questioning four seasons vs st Regis, four seasons all the way.

For a five star hotel this was disappointing. First room had a broken tv, they moved me to a smaller room which had stains in the comforter and a broken tub, with no additional compensation offered. Im sure they will make a token claim that I should contact them, but seeing that I am writing this during my stay, it would seem if they actually wanted to rectify anything, they would. In addition, inexplicable covid policies seem like just an excuse to scale back services, like offering breakfast and dinner room service is ok, but apparently lunch service is too risky to perform. Reduced services should be accompanied by reduced price. There are many 4 star hotels in the area that offer better quality and services.

All I can say is wow! From the wonderful staff to our gorgeous room this hotel was amazing. Due to Covid19 a lot of the amenities/services at the hotel were suspended but the staff went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. We happened to be in town during a birthday and May was wonderful with helping me arrange a birthday cake prior to our arrival. They have protocols in place for sanitizing and room service hours have been cut short. They are still offering valet services. If you must travel during this pandemic please consider this hotel for its friendly staff, and great location.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of April. The hotel is, of course, clean and finished at the level of 5 stars, but the management was at 1 stars. This was especially felt during the epidemiological restrictions, which now spoil everyones life. Why would I give 2 star to my favorite hotel branch:1. To get inside the building you had to wait for an employee. The card did not work half the time. And the main entrance door was closed for some reason, even during the day.2. They promised not to take money for the pool and spa, since they were closed during the coronavirus epidemic. But they took and did not return.3. It was necessary to sign up for the gym even though there was never anyone there. But often it was not possible to sign up for the time that was convenient for me. This insanity strained.4. Well, in the end, 7 days of the hotel cost me more than 7K for a regular suite, almost 1000 per day - thats a lot. In my opinion.

Its a really nice hotel but not worth the price. Valet is the only form of parking an they charge $70 a night, the room costs $379 a night plus tax an they take an extra $300 as a deposit. The pool is drained an off limits, sauna is closed an off limits, the spa and massage boutique were closed and off limits, the restaurant and bar downstairs were closed and off limits, they dont have a St. Regis shuttle to run you to and from the local attractions. They have room service for breakfast only but breakfast isnt complementary. In total for a 1 day stay we came out of pocket shy of a thousand dollars for a room that shouldve originally cost $300. I dont recommend staying. Unless they open everything up it would be worth it.

I loved the proximity of the San Francisco St. Regis to the waterfront, Pier 39, the Ferry Building, Coit Tower and other sights. I had a number of treatments at the spa, all of which were first-rate. The dining staff at The Grill and the Lobby Lounge were equally wonderful and attentive. Bkash at The Grill made my husbands birthday breakfast memorable and extra special. And the Concierge accommodated our last-minute request for special dining at one of San Frans hottest restaurants. All in all, a fabulous and memorable time.

I have remained in this inn numerous multiple occasions throughout the most recent 10 years or somewhere in the vicinity. Truth be told, my better half and I got connected here. I additionally remain consistently at the Four Seasons. The St. Regis is current, spotless and truly agreeable. The rooms will in general be enormous. I will say, notwithstanding, that it has been a year or so since I last remained here. The administration was somewhat inconsistent. Not no matter how you look at it, however simply to a great extent. Front work area and registration was extraordinary. Ringer administration/front entryway was fabulous. All staff was agreeable and decent. Notwithstanding, we wound up following-up on specific solicitations. For instance, we called for ice. Nothing for 30 minutes or more. We called once more. after 20 minutes it was conveyed. There are a couple of other comparable models. All things considered, I will keep on remaining here, however in the expectations that these little issues improve.

I frequently visit San Francisco and typically stay at hotels that are closest to my office. My experience with hotels in the area tend to be ones that are cheaper and only providing the bare minimum or if you move up to a staying at a hotel with a bit more class, they tend to put a ton of effort into their downstairs amenities. On a business trip, I am lucky to even take advantage of these features once during my stay. So I really was excited walking into St. Regiss hotel room which they ensured was close to the highest floor. The view out the window was awesome, the room had plenty of room and the setup for all the furniture just made sense and I found I was actually using the desk and relaxing in the room provided a chair. I loved the light automation which I could control right beside my bed. The bathroom was sooo clean with a lovely stand up shower and bathtub. With SFs water conservation laws, It was nice to know I could take a shower and have enough water pressure to fulfill my needs. I enjoyed the two-day maid service, especially the evening bed turndown service which they would do, picking up any trash, placing any clothing in a more appropriate place, replenishing any water, lowering the curtains and so so so much more. But my favorite part of this was the radio being turned on softly playing some casual hits on the radio. With all that being done, walking into the room after a long day of work made it so delightful and so easy to immediately relax. My only wish I had done before arriving was to get more information on the services which were offered during my stay. Now knowing that some laundry services are avaliable makes it even more enticing. I cannot wait for my next trip to SF and will have to make sure I stay at the St. Regis San Francisco next time!

We had two issues. First issue was upon check-in, the crib, microwave, and mini-fridge werent placed in the room as confirmed and reassured to us by the butler service. We had confirmed these room requests at booking, and again the day before via the butler service. Neither of the items confirmed to us were in the room. Second issue, the restaurant didnt have a high chair on both days, first day - we were told the hotel had so many babies on the property during our stay that the high chairs all must be used (an unlikely fact, and more likely a lie). Second day, they assured us they would make sure to have a high chair for us since we would still be at the property. I went ahead the morning of the second day to confirm the high chair for my wife and son. I was reassured effusively by the host that there would be a high chair. Alas, there was no high chair. If you have children, Id look for another 5-star property than the St. Regis San Francisco. Weve really enjoyed the Shangri-La Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim Vancouver, and St. Regis Deer Valley.

My family and I spent the last evening of our 10 day family vacation at the St. Regis. During our trip, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco, the Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay and the Evergreen Lodge in Yosemite. There simply was not a better way to end our trip. In fact, our experience made us want to extend our trip just to stay an extra night at the hotel. Our check-in was seemless. We were met with valet and bellmen who were more than helpful and accomidating. At the front desk, we were met with Champagne and sparkling apple juice for our three girls. The folks at the desk even suprised my youngest daughter with a backpack and stuffed animal that she is still talking about. Our rooms were perfect! Connecting rooms with a great view and accomidations. We were in heaven! There was a small noise issue (next door was a bit loud), but when we called downstairs, the issue was handled immediately. We ordered room service for breakfast the next morning and again the staff exceeded our expectations. They catered to my wife and I and my children. This hotel is what others should strive for!

I love the St Regis hotels. We used to stay in the New York one. This San Francisco St Regis is super modern whereas in NY it is a historic place with the King Cole bar and fabulous opulent reception. Simple but very well designed, light and airy luxurious without being cloying, is the best description of the San Francisco St Regis. In a good location, away from the rather seedy Union Square it has art gallery nearby and is central enough for most things.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this St. Regis. As elite members, we were upgraded at check-in. The additional items we requested prior to check-in were in the room at arrival. Valet staff here is awesome. They are very responsive in holding the door and opening doors of transportation. They had umbrellas for us to check out when it began raining.Rooms and Lobby are stylish and modern and in good condition. The Grill restaurant was awesome! Wonderful food and amazing service. Made us feel very welcome. They still offer stocked mini- bars... so awesome as sooo many hotels have now discontinued this service. There was plenty of complimentary drinking water in the room. The only unappreciated occurrence was that at 7am on Saturday morning, there was construction taking place up above us. As well as the shower had green hard water stains on the floor. And, we found the mattresses to be too firm. However, I understand that is subjective. All else was spectacular.

St Regis is a great modern hotel in a bustling city. It’s a soothing space, my room was large and airy, loved the color tones in the room. The staff is helpful and professional when needed, and not obsequious (that might be spelled wrong), which I appreciate. I had a busy three night stay for business, used the gym a few times- it’s in a large corner space that’s kind of a sliver but it works- lots of treadmills and weights to the point of overcrowding as they almost all are but it works- I used the peloton bikes.Lobby is a good meeting spot, busy during day. Didn’t eat in hotel, myriad options in neighborhood. The Grove on corner of mission is a good breakfast spot, otherwise I walked to Union Square to meet people or to North Beach for dinner. Had free time last afternoon and did sf moma, worthwhile. Yes, it’s expensive, but everything in SF is, I combined points and cash to make it work better, I’d stay again.

The food was very good, but the service was confused, but still polite. With regard to the room, the suite was very nice, but the sofa could use a very good clean and several small details are showing wear and could use some attention. Ive stayed at this property twice now; and both times things were fine, but not exceptional. For me, its the small attention and personalization to details that Ive come to love with the St Regis brand. I just havent experienced that here - even with an anniversary stay. Our recent experience we enjoyed the champagne saboring. (You really must attend if you have not.) Lucca, who conducts this service, is new to the property and was probably the most hospitable staff member that we encountered. But at check-out, there was an error on our bill. I explained to the front desk that we didnt order room service, just the complimentary coffee from the butler service. She did remove from the bill, but seemed rather reluctant to do so - and not very apologetic that it was there in the first place. Both times Ive used my SPG SNA to upgrade my room, so while it was nice to get upgraded - I was already doing so with my own upgrades and received the room requested (not an upgrade beyond). Also, with other St Regis (and other SPG brands) I frequently receive small notes in the room - thanking me for my stay from management. I love receiving those; but unfortunately dont receive those here. I really want to love this St Regis, just havent had the exceptional experiences Im used to when spending the rates that they charge.

The St. Regis excels in service, comfort, and style. There are so many hotels in SF where you would have something to complain about (e.g. Parc 55 - dreary shower tubs and curtains; Palace - too big and not personalized; Ritz Carlton - no free breakfast for elite members; and the list goes on) - but St. Regis really achieves perfection. The one thing I appreciate most is the caring and personalized service. The staff members know you on a personal level (even after a couple of stays), the messaging app is responsive and effective, and they go out of their way to make your stay special. Not just in SF but everywhere. It’s like a home to me and I love staying there every time.

Ive been staying at the St. Regis San Francisco consistently over the past few years for work travel. What I am most impressed is the consistency of service that is always on full display by the entire team. The property has also been well-maintained over the years. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting San Francisco - for business or for leisure. Im deeply appreciative of the team for making the hotel a home away from home.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very accommodating and so very professional and friendly. The room was always perfection. Room service offers a lovely selection, it is severed quickly and perfectly to order. After a long day out and about the St. Regis room service is very satisfying.Everything about this establishment is utterly top notch. I would recommend a stay of any length here to everyone.

As a veteran traveler it was a welcome experience to stay here with my husband and 2 children for an 8 day vacation in SF. From the moment we entered the hotel we were transported to a serene and supremely elegant environment - this was achieved by also managing to be cozy, inviting and family friendly. The mix of sleek modern decor and ancient chinoiserie is the setting for the lobby with one of the cities most popular bars that invokes many of SFs best characteristics. The staff is what really enriched our experience at the St. Regis and in SF. Everyone on staff was polite, welcoming and quite enchanting. They made certain all our needs were met by recommending the best room, making all our reservations and suggest things we hadnt thought of -- like a fantastic new Sushi restaurant. At the very end they even found a charger and recharged my kindle for the long flight home. The rooms, particularly the beds, were so comfortable we couldnt wait to get back each day! The in-room spa bath products were a special treat. The pool was a calming family oasis after the long, fun days of sight seeing, and we were able to catch up with all our local friends who wanted to come and meet us at the beautiful St. Regis bar.The location is great to access the whole city-- right next door is the SFModern Museum and the outstanding Yerba Buena Cultural Center. There is even a super trendy Blue Bottle Coffee down the road!We are already planning our return to our new found nirvana.THANK YOU ST. REGIS SF!!!

The service and hotel was spectacular as you would expect nothing less from a St. Regis. The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and spacious and had a great view of the city. The food at the restaurants there was also top notch. This hotel is conveniently located to most things you would want to see in San Francisco including SFMMOA which I highly recommend.

Having stayed at multiple St Regis hotels world wide, I must say the St Regis San Francisco is one of the best in the group. Not only is the location convenient to all that San Francisco has to offer, the hotel is elegant yet comfortable, not at all stuffy. Probably due to the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The concierge in particular are knowledgable, well-connected, yet warm and charming. Housekeeping was efficient and nearly invisible. In-Room Dining always served with a genuine smile and efficiency. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict with its Meyer Lemon Hollandaise with Black Truffle! Vitrine was a wonderful, relaxed experienced with a light but sophisticated menu.

What a wonderful hotel. Ive spent over 800 nights in Starwood hotels, and the St. Regis SF reminds me what a true luxury hotel can and should be. I stayed at the hotel on the front-end of a week of business in Silicon Valley. The experience was so great (and I was in need of pampering and rest before flying back to the east coast) that I booked another 3 days on the back end of my trip. Great upgrade both times. Probably the best Platinum breakfast experience Ive ever had -- you choose from a special menu of entrees, plus beverages, etc. I was impressed that having stayed only a total of 5 nights across 2 separate visits, staff recognized me by name and genuinely welcomed me back to the hotel. Great concierge staff. Great location. I could go on and on. I cant wait to go back.

Beautiful hotel and guest services are second to none! Everything was spectacular from food to service! Room has refrigerator stocked with alcohol and sodas and snacks as well. Butler/maid service twice a day and turn down service at night. Slippers and robes are complimentary to use throughout your stay. Pool was clean and warm. Ordered room service and loved it. They give you a time your meal will arrive so there’s no guessing when its coming. Bar service was good and wait staff very attentive. The only thing I can find to complain about is the soap, shampoo and the bath wash needs to go! The bath wash leaves blue plastic particles all over you and the tub. The shampoo and conditioner are not good and smell funny. Everything is so beautiful the bath soaps matter too!

One star due to absolute incompetence of front desk and accounting staff. I was double charged for minibar consumption. Once on my room bill and a second transaction after I checked out and departed. Three phone calls and it is still not resolved. I was told theyd immediately send me an updated folio but they have not done that. They also told me the credit would take 7 to 10 business days - why on earth can they not void the incorrect transaction. You literally cannot speak to any competent human here - noone knows what to do and there is no ability to escalate.Total failure of process and customer service. In addition, Im Marriott Bonvoy Titanium + Ambassador status and there was zero recognition (no suite upgrade, no appreciation). On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable.

I attended a fundraising dinner at the St. Regis hotel. The event included a live auction and dinner. The space was modern and classy, and most importantly the food was excellent. Food at catered events like this can be hit or miss, so it was a pleasant surprise to get good food. Additionally the wait staff were attentive and professional.

St Regis, your service has been beyond incredible. The moment I stepped in and till I left, it was truly magnificent. The attention to details especially in housekeeping was truly amazing and was beyond my expectation. It was a short stay but it will be a lifetime and memorable experience. Until we meet again and hopefully soon.

Beautiful, luxurious, modern rooms with amazing views of the city. Pricing is at a premium but the room size is large, and everything is high quality down to the last detail. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in before. The location is good, several bars and restaurants in the area and a few museums just steps away.

A sanctuary of calm in this hipster city. Its nice to walk in from the white noise of the street to the soft murmour of the fireplace in the lobby. Very nice and forthcoming staff in every respect. Very family friendly guests. Great location for walking to the Union Square and China Town and for getting onto the freeway. The SF MOMA and the Jewish museum are both within a 60 seconds walk. The In Situ restaurant at the SF MOMA is one of the most exciting spots for fine dining in the city. Steam room and sauna are only accessible for people who book a spa treatment. The pool is open 24hrs to all guests and is a pleasure to use. Rooms with a view of the Yerba Buena gardens are worth the extra cost.

Used SPG points and Suite night rewards for a birthday night here. We got bumped up to the Metropolitan suite (above the Astor suite) and loved it. The suite was massive, well-lit and -decorated, with plenty of space for us to spread out. We stayed the night in and thanks to an extended check out (4pm) we both decided to work from home what with the great views and wonderful setting. And the spacious bathroom was great, with a wonderfully deep tub. There were a few things that were a little off. We couldnt get the wifi to work on all of our computers (though the wired connection was fine). The touchscreen controls didnt always work for the shades or lights, and the TV in the bedroom did not respond to the remote nor take the Bluray input, so no movies in bed. Also, we werent impressed with the food: our tiramisu was frozen in the middle and our brunch was underwhelming. And sadly the hot tub was under renovation. Those are minor quibbles in our book, the room was simply fantastic and we were thrilled to get upgraded above the normal suite thanks to platinum status. We would have loved to spend the whole weekend there, especially being close Yerba Buena gardens and downtown.

We came to San Fran for a trip for our anniversary and I loved this hotel! The staff was so helpful and accommodating, and and extremely knowledgeable about local culture and transportation. I have stayed at a sister luxury hotel of St. Regis for my birthday last year, but that experience was completely miserable. HOWEVER, St. Regis San Francisco made up for that and more this birthday trip! First, the staff was responsive and friendly! Everything we needed, they gave and it also came with a smile. When there was a small hiccup in room service, they proactively made it right and I appreciated it! Since it was my birthday, they gave me a cake and handwritten note wishing me a wonderful day. The details provided by the staff was phenomenal. This location has an amazing staff, from the moment valet opened my car door to the moment the closed my car door when I ended my trip, every staff member I encountered presented themselves well, efficient, friendly, and helpful. I cannot praise the service enough! The room was spectacular and the views were amazing. The amenities were great and made my weekend a comfortable one. The black out drapes and comfortable bed gave me the best nights rest Ive had in a long time. Finally, the pool was a nice bonus. It was heated and indoor; therefore, my hubby and I got to swim when it was cold and chilly in SF. Overall, I definitely would come back!

The hotel is nicely done in a contemporary design and is fairly new. The reservation desk was very helpful. She was going to give us a standard room but took it a step farther to give us a suite for our anniversary. That is great customer service. After you check in the butler walks you to your room describing the hotel and room amenities. The room was fantastic with a great view as a corner room. Light and shades can be operated with a master control in the bedroom. The Regis hotel takes it to the next level in service. Room service was excellent and to top off our stay, they provided an anniversary cake. The hotel is close to shopping and a few museums. The doorman was friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time. We may have to make this an annual event.

My wife and I recently stayed at this property to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and babymoon. The staff was sensational. Mariah, the concierge, was extremely helpful in assisting us with identifying fabulous restaurants to celebrate the special occasion. The night time Bentley car service was a great feature that distinguishes this hotels from other 5 star properties in the area. The hotel also has a great central location. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a stay in San Francisco.

Having never stayed at a St. Regis previously I have to say I am a CONVERT! I throughly enjoyed my stay at the St. Regis SF and REALLY enjoyed their spa. I visit many spas all over the world and have to say, while the facilities are small, they are well appointed and the staff top notch. I would recommend this hotel and spa to my closest of friends and family. Thank you Linh in the spa - your recommendations and technical skills are superb. Thank you St. Regis for a lovely weekend for a stay at home dad that needed some true R&R.
