This IS mos def NOT Brain Wash! Place is clean BUT the equipment IS NOT all that trust and believe. About 4 weeks ago, contacted Tony about washer #12 and the fact is was not operating very well on spin cycle. I had to use another to get clothes spun properly. Didnt get a call back and that means I didnt get a refund. This WILL BE the LAST time I use that laundry! Covid 19 or not I deserve much BETTER!

All washers and dryers worked effciently. The place was clean

I was able to get my laundry done with no complaints or problems. The guy who works there was nice and very helpful. My wash was 28 quarters and the dryer was 25 cents for 5 minutes. The dryer took a little longer to dry than I had hoped. Will return again.

Good place to wash laundry

The washer was fast, but expensive and didnt rinse well. The dryers worked very well, super fast and not overpriced. The place in general was clean enough,.But the number of out-of-service machines made me a bit nervous about using the machines that were still working.

When I go the people are nice and the machines do what it suppose to do

Doin laundry @ da 8th Street laundry is awesome cuz other places ppl alwaze worry bout their clothes getting stolen NOT HERE !!! ITS ALWAZE A COOL PLACE TO DO UR LAUNDRY 4 REALZ !!!

To much money. Even though I had dryer on low it burnt my blanket & washing machine ripped my dogs bed & a lot of the stuffing came out. I will never do my laundry there again took $ 30. To do $ 15. In laundry.

Half of the machines were out of order.

Its your basic tiny laundromat. Clean and usually pretty empty. Little Asian woman who runs the place is one tough cookie.

Friendly staff that is helpful!!

This place has been bad for years. They they constantly have older women in here washing clothes and they block everything. To staff are always blocking things. They are next door to a homeless shelter. They have a history of random people coming in and just hanging out. They have plastic chairs to sit it. Machines are often broken. They often dont have employees on site so people are asking me for help when I dont even work there. No bathroom for customers. People try to talk to you. Some of the other patrons are soo cheap that they are constantly looking for dryers that are already hot that were used by other people to put their clothes in in order to try and save $0.25 for 5 minutes. It cost $0.25 for 5 minutes. Ive had to argue with random mentally ill people. They have homeless and drug addicts come in and do laundry.

Nice little laundry mat. No frills just wash, dry and go.

Definitely NOT go there! Dropped a shirt there for cleaning, and two days later when pick up, they did not wash it at all but pretend to have done that! Even worse, the shirt was even dirtier! When asked the old woman manager there, she just yelled and talk dirties, like some people are just dirty, go back to your country (btw, she is a Chinese for sure), we do not serve you, .... etc.. Just so off track and that old woman was just ugly and evil. And the general environment in that laundry is just dirty! will definitely not go, even it is just 2 minutes walk.

Ok.. You can be troubled by homeless individuals at times..

I dont call this Crack Street Laundry, or alternatively Dantes Omitted Level Of Hell, for nothing.UPDATE [5/2016]: SO no longer patronizing this establishment after laundry came out reeking of gawdknowswhat. Hes still finding socks or t-shirts with the odor after re-washing at least once.Highlights:- I will not go despite living 100 yards away - I gleefully wave as I pass it on the way to Brainwash.- S.O. will go on occassion and reports back- Sights reported include domestic abuse, huffing of unidentified substance, shooting up and other drug use, general craziness—inevitably- S.O. no longer will leave laundry, as all my panties mysteriously disappeared from the wash one Saturday afternoon

Um... My clothes got clean? Granted at a laundry mat theyre supposed to, but thats not always the way it goes in this city. So thanks for that to whomever runs the place.

Just dont ever go here. Rude staff, half the machines dont work and they dont refund you if you unknowingly used a broken machine. Instead of apologizing for a faulty machine, she blamed me for not checking to see if it worked! I drove my laundry to another place despite the inconvenience.
