The Kroc Center has lots of community programs and staff are very nice. The gym is temporary closed till ?
I love the building I love the nice appliances that it has in the studio apartments. But the staff who works the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. Lets just say their focus isnt on customer service. Very rude people.Miss Kari D
Very helpful and respectful. The Pantry Help Counselor (Kamela??) was AWESOME. Thanks so much!!
Its a great place for homeless people to start over, clean fresh studios, they give you a welcome home package when you move in and have a full staff of Case Managers to help you get acclimated to your new place.
Ive been a member for about 3 months. A great place for just about anything you might need and more! A very special place! Multiple activities I dont know where to begin. Well worth a visit to see for yourself!
Okay okay okay okay so did you know that they have a five level gym in this building and its open to the public to have memberships and they even have a price port for poor people like me if you have an EBT card my suggestion to you is to run not walk not climb hop on the bus jump off on the 30 on the 31 route this is the gym to get a membership at and you wont feel guilty if you dont go guess what is under $15 a month so worth the time thank you to the sponsors and Partnerships of the community for this gym with Salvation Army awesome
This place is pretty awesome.. I use services regularly. Only thing is the water for the showers are not hot is always cold.
Terrible place.. The hot water didnt work in the shower for over a week. there is no Towel Service and they charge you$2 for a little hand towel if you want to take a shower. There is never any hand soap in the locker rooms. the bathrooms are usually dirty and the computer room has 6 computers and only 4 usually work.. Dont waste you money here.
The arcade, swimming pool, and computer lab is the best!I went here as a kid and I love this place dearly!Cheaper memberships and classes than the YMCA.They impact high need communities and serve everyone with kindness and respect
Was here for the feel good fair. We made people feel good.
This Salvation Army is outstanding and Full of joy very Exiting to know the presence of the creator is among us.
I was not allowed to move in at the opening, while I was homeless. But I use the lockeroom services to stay clean while homeless. Best gym membership in the bay $40.00 month to month. Now they charge you an administrative fee $40.00 plus the cost of membership which have gone up slightly. During the last drought they fussed about taking long showers. NOT COOL!!!!! YOU DO GET TO ATTEND THE YEARLY BAR B QUE!!!
I just love the services Salvation army provides for everyone. The monthly cost for teens are $10 and dont let the location intimidate you! If you want to practice your basketball skills or soccer skills, Salvation Army in the Tenderloin is the best place to go to!
Can a homeless person live here?
The area its located in is disgusting. But the program is ok. The need more staff that engages the children better. Overall good program.
The people were helpful but I really dont know much about the place.. I went there for a festival fundraiser thing..
Clean, modern organized,-once you have been admitted into the program. Nice folks.
My child goes to the salvation army ASP they have the best staff and they give high protection and are are safe around children
This a great place to workout, and there are many different activities that go here.
I attend regular and use the facilities. Clean, friendly staff.I feel safe when Im there.I would not be able to attend if they didnt have senior rate.rates.rates. You
Good for what it does. Used to have a pool but they choose to not staff it, it was the only one in the neighborhood and the only affordable one for many folks
Nice and clean. Friendly staff
If I was able to rate 0 I would.the workers Are So disrespectful. Some need to get fired.👿👿👿
Amazing place with so much opportunity for underserved youth, including Tech in the Tenderloin tech programs!
The place sucks. Five years ago it was nice
This is they best place to work out, place Ball, shoot pool. Try it

Great gymnasium and weight room.
Nice people working there?
Love it, employed there ❤
Seedy neighborhood and below-average basketball court with rubber floors that apparently arent cleaned often. But its something, so its hard to knock it in the downtown area where theres not many other options.
Exercise machines changed recently. One I just cant figure out.
A great place to hold events
To do exercise its the very good environment
I am giving gving Kroc 5 stars because of the fact that they cared enough to open a facility that will benefit everyone that uses it
Great resource for people in the Tenderloin
They did my taxes for free.
