We had an awesome time fishing in the Bay! Captain David was great, not only in finding great spots to catch fish but in telling stories about local points of interest. Thanks for a great time!

I had the great pleasure of joining my besties on Warrior Poet for a day chasing Salmon. Warrior Poet’s captain was really fantastic. He knew where to go to hit the big ones (other fishing boats seemed to miraculously shadow us since they knew we were hitting) and, wow, we went big! The first 7 were on ice very quickly and the limit of two salmon per person was easily achieved. Our captain was good at teaching the rookies like me how to catch the biggest fish of my life. We caught an estimated 180 pounds of salmon and what a treat!Our Captain was very gracious and a lot of fun to fish with. The First Mate was also very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Between the two of them we had an easy, fun, fish-filled day.After getting back to the dock, the Captain cleaned and filleted all the fish to each angler’s specifications.The best part of this trip is the max number of passengers is six so you can put your group together or buy out the whole boat for yourself! Who wants to stand on a rail surrounded by strangers on a big boat?We caught 12 of the most beautiful salmon I’ve ever seen or tasted and with Warrior Poet, it was a blast and a bargain!

David is a positive and encouraging Captain that will work his tail off to make sure you have a good time and catch some fish. I’m not an expert, but I liked his equipment, and it worked well. He tries to use different baits and communicates with other boats on weather conditions, what is biting, and where. I would definitely go out on Warrior Poet again. -Lawrence Wold
