What a wonderful way to spend the day! Do yourselves a favor and book a trip with these guys, youll have to get up early and youll be there into the afternoon. DRINK COFFEE. There is a bathroom on board, everything is clean and sanitized between people. They provide everything you need to have a great day fishing including cleaning the fish and giving you the filets if you catch one big enough (big enough varies between fish) all in all we caught 8 halibut between the 2 of us AND we went all around the bay, saw Alcatraz, the whole trip was well worth it ($200pp) **bring snacks!** Brian and Al are the best and helped with making us better fishers each place we went.

Brian at San Francisco fishing charters was AWESOME! He was able to fit myself and 3 sons in last minute due to a cancellation and gave us a great day to remember for a lifetime! We booked a half day trip and he immediately sent us info to prepare us down to the last detail. He was helpful and accommodating to any and all hiccups and got us out for an on time departure headed directly for fish! He had coffee ready and a nice, clean and cozy cabin. Within minutes of arriving to our spot, We were shown every detail to ensure our success and along with that were given any and all assistance. And succeed we did! A couple of hours and we had a limit of our target fish and got to go for a bonus target. We were able to get a few of those too before heading back! I can’t say enough about the quality service and great experience and memories that my boys and I will share for the rest of our lives!

Took my husband shark fishing for his birthday on8/24/21. He caught 6 sharks and I caught 4.I had never fished before and Brian was extremely helpful and patient with me. It was a wonderful day,the other 3 men fishing were extremely nice and the boat was immaculate. It was very clean and Brian made sure the bathroom was cleaned after each person used it and he kept hosing the floors down.A great experience. I would highly recommend Brianand his fishing charter.

Exceptional fishing experience! Jose and Mel were awesome, and so attentive to ensure that we had fresh bait at all times. Jose was great in providing in depth explanations about particular fishing spots and techniques. Overall my wife and I had a great experience. Better than any fishing charter that we had experienced back at home in Australia.

I went fishing once with Brian a few years ago and once again today. Both times were an absolute blast. Brian knows the bay well and is a friendly guy. It doesnt hurt that we caught a ton of fish both times!

I wasnt sure what to expect going shark fishing in SF Bay, but it was really enjoyable and Brian and Jose were calm, fun & knowledgable. Within 5 minutes of dropping our lines the sharks were biting, talk about a good spot! There was a lot of action! I would definitely rebook with this outfit if I make it back to SF.

We hosted a fishing birthday party and these guys were real pros! They were extremely hospitable and highly knowledgeable about fishing. My dad is a fishing guide and I was thoroughly impressed with this crew. The boat was VERY clean and has plenty of room. We caught lots of bass and halibut, and Brian and Joses filleting skills are impressive! HIGHLY recommend.

I went out with Brian and Jose for a birthday trip with some friends and family. It was better than anything I could have expected. These guys are awesome at what they do and it was SO worth it. We caught multiple striped bass and rockfish. It was so fun and these guys really made sure we all had a good time. I cant wait to go again with them. As other reviews said, they were extremely clean and very hospitable.

I had a very good feeling about this trip. After a half day of fishing we had a great time and a medium sized cooler full of fish. The boat was very comfortable and had lots of room. Brian and his brother did a great job and made the experience lots of fun. Would recommend.

I had some friends visiting from Denmark who were looking for their first fishing experience in the Pacific Ocean. We caught more fish than we could even count! My 10-year-old fishing-obsessed son and I live in the SF Bay Area and we decided to try this out. In November striper fishing is the thing, apparently, so we went for that. It did not disappoint! Brian and Jose were fantastic guides (safe, friendly, helpful) and were great with my son. We pulled up so many fish that at some point I needed a break! We had a blast. Highly recommend.

I took my Dad fishing with San Francisco Fishing Charter as an early Fathers Day present, and he loved it! Brian was friendly, accommodating, and professional. Brian and Jose were excellent guides on our half day fishing charter in the SF Bay. First, we fished for Striped Bass and caught our boats limit within about an hour! Then, we spent the rest of the time fishing halibut. We caught many (maybe 15 or so) which was fun for me and my two boys aged 13 and 15. We only kept 3 halibut, and the rest went back to catch another day. I also caught a small rock fish and a shark! Another highlight was the boys feeding the skins and bones from the filleted fish to the eager sea lion at the dock. I plan to come back soon and go out on the ocean to fish, past the bay. Brian and Jose charter the best boat in the Bay Area. Brian has been on a boat since he was a kid and knows the area better than anyone. Why is this important? We went out to catch striped bass and were in the general area of 10-12 other boats. We caught the boat quota in less than an hour while the other boats were not reeling anything up. Why? It is easy, Brian and Jose know the tides and how to work the bait in those tides to catch the fish. At one point we had to use the net to bring in 2-3 fish in one swoop because they were biting so much. I have used Brian and Jose 3 times now all for different fish; shark, salmon and striped bass. All three times it was an enormous success and a great day out in the boat. Want to have a great day in an amazing setting? Call Brian and Jose - they are the best in the business.

Our family had a GREAT time fishing recently with Capt Brian & his brother. We caught 3 large salmon and took home over 40 lbs of fish filets. Fishing was fabulous but our teenage son said feeding the sea lion our fish scraps was the best part of his entire week in San Fran!!

San Francisco Fishing Charter gave me and my family a fantastic fishing trip. Brian and his brother Jose are very smart fishermen and actually gave my party an upgrade from a half-day of rock fish to a half-day of salmon fishing, because they knew where a close fishing site was located and had success there the last couple of days. They made the whole experience very relaxing and comfortable by getting all the rods and bait ready, so that we only had to worry about bringing in the fish and not about whether we had the right gear or bait. Our whole boat hit our limit of Salmon. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Highly recommended! Brian and Jose are friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Caught a mess of fish including four keeper sturgeon on our trip (released). I researched several other charters for our mother and daughter fishing trip and I am so pleased we chose these guys. Brian and Jose are well organized, professional, accommodating, fun and they know how to get you on the fish. My mom caught her limit and we threw back so many that I lost count. This particular day other boats where having difficult catching any fish at all! The boat was very nice and clean. I felt safe with Brian at the wheel and it was obvious he is an experienced captain and fisherman. Brian and Jose were able to answer most all of our questions about fishing, cooking, landscape and the city. They did everything for us, but also allowed us to do things ourselves if we wanted. We felt free to move around on the boat and have fun. I highly recommend Fishin’ Game to anyone looking for a fun day fishing with an experienced crew and anyone who wants to catch a ton of fish. My freezer is packed with fish now!
