They COMPLETELY DESTROYED my winter coat and brand new comforter, charged me the full price, and the store manager was extremely RUDE when I visited multiple times to claim for the damage. I was just left speechless when she kept insisting that these damages were already there (again, they were brand new. So were we expected to take pictures from every single angle of the garments before we send them for dry cleaning..? Whats this, a rental car shop?) The store manager just kept being very rude and when I kept insisting, she just simply said she will send them to customer service for an inspection and I have not heard back from them for a month. It is one thing to make a mistake over the dry cleaning process but another to be very disrespectful and arrogant lying about how the damages were already there on these brand new clothes.
Clean, friendly, and fast service!I came here to get some pants tailored, and the staff did a great job accommodating me as a walk-in. They were very friendly and inviting, and I was in and out with measurements taken and a ticket in hand in less than 10 min. The shop is very well-kept, and it seems that they put a lot of care into their work.Theyre all about being green and using less-toxic materials, and they offer email reminders and receipts (saving paper!).To my surprise, my pants were ready a whole day early, and they came out great and neatly pressed! They did a really good job; you get what you pay for and then some!
DO NOT TRUST MULBERRYS WITH ANYTHING!!!!!! I brought my $350 comforter here to have dry cleaned. I informed the lady when I was dropping it off that there was one small (quarter sized) stain to be looked at and fixed (if possible) but not to worry about it if it could not be fixed. I picked up the comforter 5 days later with a massive (basketball sized) stain on it that looked like a worker had spilled coffee all over it. The stain was so bad that the worker there asked me if I had a pet because it looked like an animal had peed on it. I do not have pets and this stain was NOT on the comforter when I dropped it off. The manager was not present when I picked it up so I called her three days later. SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. She blamed it on me and told me that there was nothing they could do because I had one stain on it when I dropped it off. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE SERVICE IN GENERAL. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ITEMS AT ALL YOU WILL NOT EVER LEAVE THEM HERE!!!!!
I had 2 pairs of pants altered and they did a great job.
I just used Mulberrys Garment Care dry cleaning services over at 207 berry street, San Francisco. I dropped off 6 dress shirts and requested that they treat the neck area. When I went to pick up my dry cleaning I noticed that the neck area was not only still dirty but heavily discolored on 4 out of the 6 shirts. I have used their same dry cleaning services before and every time they have ruined atleast one of my shirts each time. I’ve also had to request them to redo the dry cleaning every single time because they do not get the work done first time around. This is the last straw, I am very upset that they have ruined my shirts, some of these dress shirts are upwards of $50 - $80 and are brand new and have been worn once. When I brought up their poor service to the employees over at Mulberrys, not only did they not apologize for ruining my shirts but also lacked customer service. I am not sure if they are using bleach or harsh detergent but this is totally unacceptable. I will be expressing my experience on yelp so other people are aware of how bad this place is, as well as reaching out to corporate regarding the employees and the three dress shirts that are completely ruined and are now unwearable. Please see their yelp reviews for photos of damaged items.
I practically destroyed my favorite leather Kate Spade bag when I had multiple spills in it, including the latest one with coffee. (Im a klutz, what can I say?) I was getting ready to say good-bye to it, when I learned that my dry cleaners also do leather products. I decided it was worth a try; its cheaper than buying a new one. And guess what?! It came out as good as new!! I was so thrilled! And not to mention that every piece of clothing that Ive had dry cleaned there (which has been at least 10 in the last month, alone) have come back looking and smelling clean and new! Highly recommend this place! I also really love that they send emails when your stuff is ready and how much it is, and theyre open every day of the week. Thanks!
They lost my clothes after insisting they dropped them off at my building. After security footage showed they were lying, which took a hot minute to prove, they are reimbursing me, but let’s see if they do. Really, really horrible customer service. Attitude that blames the customer first, then claims ignorance. Laundry locker was fun, innovative and was a startup that actually worked. This? Not so much.
Horrible customer service! The manager herself is rude and even when it’s their own mistake, the manager did not apologize much less show empathy or anything. Not sure how this place is still open if this is how poor their service is.
We have been using GreenStreet for years. Great cleaner able to handle fine clothing. If they do make a error (they are human after all) just let them know and they will take care of it.Also you can request a reusable bag so you dont have to use all of the horrible plastic - they also reuse their hangers, so dont forget to bring them back!
I had 6 or 7 pants that needed to altered and I am happy with the results!
I found this place on accident-it was right near Philz and my friend’s place. I was looking for a dry cleaner that was “green” and able to dry clean my wedding gown at a reasonable price without ruining it. My wedding dress was extremely intricate-lots of bead work, sequins. I actually met and spoke with Kevin, the owner, and he was so kind and professional. He eased my anxiety about the safety of my gown in his hands. I have never had such speed in dry cleaning (I think he had it cleaned in a couple of days) and received only the utmost courtesy and care from the owner of a dry cleaning establishment both over the phone and in person. Highly recommend this dry cleaner.
I used to bring my husbands dry cleaning to this place and really gave them more than enough chances because they were close by but they ruined some very expensive dress shirts all 4 different times. They say they don’t use bleach but they managed to discolor couple of dress shirts that should not be discolored unless you use harsh chemicals. Needless to say I took those damaged items next door to Fanta cleaners and the experts over there confirmed that the discoloration on these shirts only happen from bleach.FYI when I complained to Mulberrys, they took 6 weeks and made me come back three times and said they needed to review their cameras and talk to the manager who was on site of the cleaning location... after making me waste my time they called me back to their store to let me know that it’s not their fault and they can’t do anything about it because they don’t know how it happened even thought I have proof of me dropping off the shirts and taking pictures of the shirts before the dry cleaning and then the shirts being discolored after the service. They did this 4 times so I unfortunately had to discontinue using them. Not only does their service suck but their customer services is terrible as well... oh and trust me they definitely use bleach/harsh chemicals on their customers clothes and lie about it! Thanks!
Very happy with both the dry cleaning and the alterations service here.
They have a very good service and price also. Look like very dedicated employees.
Got two jackets dry cleaned. Quick turn around, fair prices.Very pushy with requesting a review on email. If you rate them once, they keep pestering you every day to do it again on other websites (yelp, google, etc.)
GreenStreets Cleaners on Berry has always met my expectations from great, quick drop-off and pick-up services to making sure my alteration needs are perfect. I brought in a dress to have it taken in and the seamstress made suggestions that made the dress look better than what I had originally wanted it to be.
This business has horrible customer service. Horrible. They charge rush fees if you need something within a day but and the ticket says it is available at 5pm the following day. I dropped off my items the previous day at 8am and they claim that its available after 5pm and not by 5. If there were 0 stars I would rank them that. I mentioned to them that I would not be willing to pay their rush fee if it was later and the person I spoke with said, Im pretty sure you knew that.
I cannot recommend this service. I submitted pants for fitting and a leather jacket to clean. The work took almost two weeks! I could have the pants fitted in any fitting service in a day. The jacket was OK, but they painted a piece of it inside. Even though it is inside it looks horrible. I did not ask them to do it.
Lost my shirts; took them two weeks to even acknowledge that theyve lost the shirts. Didnt provide clear updates, and when they finally agreed that theyve lost the shirts, they didnt agree to fully reimbursing the shirt cost (unless I can provide the proof of purchase with the exact amount - which obviously I didnt have since Id bought these a few years ago). Theyd only offer store credit, which I didnt want because I wouldnt want to go back there again and risk losing my shirts! The whole thing took more than a month, and required several back and forth emails, calls, visits to the store, etc.Its understandable that things can get lost. The part thats unbelievable was how slow they were in responding, and more importantly, the fact that they didnt agree to fully reimbursing us after wasting a month of our time.Definitely not recommend. Youd be better off using the other options in the area, or one of the on-demand dry cleaning alternatives.
Do not use! I made the mistake of going to GreenStreets not once, but twice and had a terrible experience both times. This time my clothes were not washed in time, they were subsequently delivered to the wrong store (I was told to go pick it up from the other location), and was charged for an extra pound of clothing (or perhaps they lost a pound of clothing...)I was in a rush and needed some last minute laundry done so I dropped it off Friday morning and was told that it would be ready by 5pm on Saturday. It was not ready on Saturday. I come back on Sunday early afternoon and was told that it was still not ready (the truck had not yet come) but they took my number and told me theyd call me back. By 5pm I had still not received a call so I went back and sure enough it still was not there. I received a call right after I got back home and was told that my laundry was delivered to a different location and that I should go there to pick it up instead. When I went to the other store to pick up my laundry the person checking out told me that theyre not usually allowed to do this, but [theyll] make an exception and take off the rush fee for [me].Im very disappointed in the service I received and will never go back.
Good at cleaning, VERY BAD at alterations. I gave them a denim for a small hem, gave them clear instructions on the size of material to be removed. Came back a week later only to see that they havent removed the right amount. When I asked if they could fix it they told me it would cost an extra 16$.... Needless to say that I am never gonna use their expensive and bad service ever again.
DO NOT GET NEAR THIS PLACE.A week ago I gave them an expensive leather belt to shorten, and the problems began right from the start - they couldnt tell me how much this simple request would cost me, but promised to call me on the next day. Long story short - since then, I have been back to the store twice, called them twice, and at this point they basically have no clue where my belt is and what is its status.Every basic question I ask is answered by some variation of - I have no clue or my manager is not here. When I ask to speak with the manager over the phone, the answer is this is against company policy.Forget the shortening, by now I am just hoping to get my $90 belt back...
Competent team, solid service offering, reasonable prices and items properly laundered and ironed. Very happy with GreenStreets Cleaners!
Great service, very happy with the quality the items are returned in, a little pricey
Friendly staff and great service at a fair price.
Its really great, good price and great service!
Everything was great - quality service And prompt delivery!
Make sure to ask for pricing on alterations prior to having work done. Otherwise, they hit you with high prices that dont match what they advertise on their pricing guide.
Dropped off my suit for dry cleaning and asked them *not* to press my pants down the middle of the leg like a 1980s Wall Street banker. Lo and behold, I’m Gordon Gekko. Remedy: they’ll press the pants again, one more trip for me, no discount offered. 😑
Friendly and fast! Tank you very much!
Fast friendly service! A++++
Great Service!
