The new bikes come with a lot of cool features like integrated lights and throttle mode which makes them ideal for deliveries. I really recommend renting a bike with these guys.

Awesome prices in the bay - I never wrote this review. In fact, I never write reviews. The person guiding me through the sign up process must have sneaked it in when he asked for my phone so he could bookmark the Zoomo Rider Hub. I just noticed this and is very disconcerting to have employees lie and go through your phone. Dont let them touch your phone. Trust is gone

They did not have available bikes when I came into the shop but the guy at the front desk took my info and made sure to get me a bike ASAP. I recommend this business to anyone looking for the best way to move around San Francisco.

With these bikes the hills in San Francisco are no longer a problem.

Ive purchased a rent to own bike from this shop and they have breached my contract they continue to charge my account after they raised my fee from the agreed payment. Do not give your information to them they will just ignore your calls and take forever to respond to your email. They are not a honest business due to they steal your money and raise your rates when you already agreed on a payment. Be careful when doing business with them they do not hold up their end of the bargain.

Easy start like said and Joe called me within a few hours of me submitting my application. a few weeks I came through and Im very happy I did! Tyler got me set up for a nice trial ride and Jesse closed the deal. She explained the operation of the bike quickly and efficiently. This is on top of a great ride. The battery exchange is dope and Im excited to park the car, get in better shape, and the zero emissions is the icing on the cake!!! Highly recommended😎

You need to take your bike inside businesses with you or watch your bike while inside and be prepared to confront anyone who you see touching your bike. Any unimpressive pair of bolt cutters could slice through the rather small u-lock they give.

They have no customer service if you rent a bike and have unprofessional business practices. They will also report the bike as stolen if you miss a payment.

Humberto and the staff are super responsive and helpful. Give concise instructions and details about the rental and how all the aspects work. The bikes handle very well, efficient to ride, and fun to enjoy the city on.

Place with good costumer service. Humberto spent good amount of time explaining all safety features, bike functionality and and company policy. From the first day was able to get all information without hiding surprises.

I stoped by today interested in a bike. They set me up with a test ride and I was in love with it right after! Harold was very generous and walked me through the on boarding process. 5 stars to his service and patience. Tyler helped me adjust some problems on it before I rode over. 5 starts to his service as well. This place is great, more people should check it out!

To preface this review, please dont let my initial experience impact your decision to rent from Bolt. Its clear that my negative initial experience isnt the norm and I dont want one team member to overshadow all the other employees who are absolutely fantastic.Im not going to lie, initially I had a terrible experience renting from Bolt Bikes. I dont recall his name, but the guy who got me set up lacked any and all customer service skills. Theres an initial $49 on-boarding fee and with that one would think youd walk out of there fully educated on the rental program as well as the bike itself. The service is covered by a movie you watch, but when I was getting the bike the guy gave it to me and the only thing he did was make sure I synced my phone to the bike and then tried sending me on my way without making any adjustments or telling me how to use the thing. To make matters worse, I went out to make deliveries that night and he had given me the wrong key to the u-lock so I ended up losing out on a whole nights worth of deliveries and it was like I had paid someone to take money away from me. My next interaction with the company was for a repair and I ended up with the same guy who on-boarded me. I arrived for my 2pm appointment and he said that the mechanic would take a look at it and they would give me a call when it was clear how long the repair would take. The afternoon went by and I decided to pop back in before they closed and find out when my bike would be ready. Come to find out, it had been ready and the guy just neglected to call me, again leading to lost income. I was planning on making it my last week after that.But then I had the pleasure of interacting with their mechanic and a female employee and they totally turned it around for me. They were incredibly engaging. almost like we were all old friends, and when it turned out that the issue I was having with my bike was continuing, they went above and beyond to make sure I was on a brand new bike the next day.I went in for another repair a couple weeks later and not only did he fix my bike, but he gave me a fresh battery so I could keep delivering. I was incredibly impressed by that extra service and demonstrated that they do actually care about their clients.And when I popped in a couple weeks later with an issue with my battery, the guy at the front door had me swapped out with a new one and on my way within a couple minutes, no questions asked.Had it not been for the bad interaction with that one associate, they would have been a 5 for sure.

If you are looking to rent a bike in San Francisco this is the place to do it. You will get the best bike, best value for your money, and best service from their dedicated staff. I have been renting from them from the beginning of them opening in SF. The company has friendly staff, top of the line equipment, and extra services to help us work longer. Their staff Tyler is the person who handled most of my repairs is always going out of his way (taking time if needed and reasonable to help outside of work hours) although now they are busier then the beginng of the shop opening so I wouldnt expect them to be able to do that again and they shouldnt have to. Tyler does a great job whenever it comes to repairs and normal wear and tear not once have I questioned the work being done. Tyler is a 10/10 person and employee for Bolt Bikes he is always professional and friendly. They really want us couriers to make as much money as possible and provide services they dont have to like the battery swaps. I would not be able to be a courier and do it at the level I have been without the hardwork Tyler and the company Bolt Bikes I really appreciate you guys thank you forever and may the prosperity continue.
