Good value and friendly staff. The bikes are well-maintained and the process of getting your bike is pretty simple.

Good price, friendly service. The bikes themselves are rather diverse in both look and quality but overall serviceable. Helmets and locks provided. Not all bikes will have a bag, best to carry your own. Dont worry if you arrive late, the bike rental lasts for 24 hours so its possible to lock them up at your hotel and return them the next day.

Awesome experience! The staff were super helpful - they did an excellent job for us to get the bikes we wanted, gave us tips for the ride, guided us about the places we should stop by and things to do on the way. Its an experience you shouldnt miss during your stay in San Francisco and people in Ferry Building Bike Rentals will just make it better.

We rent 3 bikes for a trip to Sausalito. We did our reservation priori online.Unfortunately, even with an online reservation and all our details, they were not able to hand over bikes in our sizes. We had to drive with the too small bikes to their other location.The quality of the bikes were horrible. The breaks did not work and the helmets were absolutely old and unhygienic.One star for the friendly sales girl.

We reserved our bikes online to get the 20% discount and we were on our way 5 mins after we got at their shop. The sign up process and map session were really well explained, and they also gave us locks and helmets for our bikes. The best thing about this place is that the ferry from Sausalito lands exactly at the same building where they are located. Overall, we had a lot of fun.

I had a lot of fun, but this bike rental place lacks some of the perks of other places-- for example, they dont give you clear instructions for a route and you have to purchase your ferry ticket on your own. Still very fun, I definitely recommend a bike tour in SF!

Very friendly staff, quite decent bikes - they have different types, but it’s good to come early as when I went in the early afternoon almost all bikes were gone.Really good experience, worth noting that for extra charge you can leave the bike at their other shop in Fisherman’s Wharf.

Unbeatable location, friendly staff, and quality bikes! Whats not to like? The ferry loop brings you right back to where you started, so you get a bike ride, self-guided tour, and sweeping views of the bay on the boat ride back. Quite a bargain.

Great service, a very reasonable price, open longer hours to accommodate someone who really wants to pedal.On the outside of the building, north of the main entrance. Do NOT go in the ferry building.In a city where most things are expensive and of questionable value, this is the real deal.

Great location right by the ferry building for ferries back from Sausalito, and really easy to rent. Locks and helmets came with the bikes and there was a basket on the back to keep your belongings in.

The bikes were of high quality and felt safe. Also, the staff was really friendly and helpful.

They do have multiple locations, but my bike was rusty and made lots of unnecessary noise. There were also multiple defects that could and should have been addressed prior to renting.Also, due to a ferry malfunction about 500 people were stuck in Sausalito. When I called to ask what to do I received a very uncalled for response. I personally would not use them again, but I cannot say that any of the others are any better.
