WOW! What a great experience! Basically Free Bike Rentals is the way to go if you want to experience a bike ride across the Golden Gate. As they state, not only do you rent the bikes, but you also receive a credit in the amount you paid to rent the bikes to spend at the Sports Basement! (Sports Basement store is located on the bike trail to the Golden Gate Bridge.) We were also surprised how nice and well maintained the bikes were! I would highly recommend Basically Free Bike Rentals to anyone wanting to do this tour.
What an awesome concept! We got the 65USD electric bikes - which I cant recommend enough (seriously) - and went over the bridge as well as up to the highest peaks to see the view.It was an amazing day, I suggest you do what we did and aim to get the bikes around midday, then you can beat the rush of groups coming in, head to Palace of Fine arts, then something to eat (theres some starbucks or other shops near by) then you can head to the bridge and stop at the shop on your way back and collect your 65$ worth of clothes and BASICALLY get one day free bike and in my case a new Levis jacket :)HIGHLY recommended.
This was one of the best activities we could have chosen for the day in San Francisco, but our absolute BEST decision was getting our bikes from Basically Free Bike Rentals! From the start, Rich was awesome! He worked with us to select our bike and schedule our rental. His best advice: electric assist bike. It was a MUST for the ride; we went on a all day ride exploring SF without having to completely exert ourselves. The credit at Sports Basement was greatβmake sure you plan time for adequate shoppingβthe place is HUGE! Great bikes and a great ride for the dayβthanks to Rich and his staff for an effortless bike rental experience! Looking forward to our next visit and bike adventure!
The guys who run this place are great! Friendly, smart, fast service and provide you with all the information and advice you need to have fun in San Francisco with their rental bikes! We spent a wonderful day going from their shop to Sausalito. Bike rental is basically free because after paying you will receive a voucher (of equal value) to buy what you want in Sport Basement stores. Super store with any merchandise not just for sports use. You can also leave your bike in the shop when you dont want to use it anymore. The rental offers more choice for the type of bicycle with different costs. The most expensive but also the most comfortable bicycle is the electric one. A safety helmet is also provided with the bike. In San Francisco it is not easy to use the bicycle if you are not trained so these guys will advise you on the best routes to do, listen to them! The quality of bikes and equipment is very high so you can feel comfortable. The only problem I had was the rear brake after 50km (the brake remained activated by itself sometimes). I advise everyone to turn to these guys, they are real professionals!
Great, super friendly service. The entire amount you pay for your bike is redeemable at the sports basement store which is on the way to the Golden gate bridge bike path anyway and has a great selection of sports/outdoor stuff. Bikes are comfortable and adjusted to your height, gears all worked great. If you get into trouble along the way you can call the store and have someone come out rescue you. Thanks for the great afternoon!
Been recommended this place to rent a bike in San Fran to ride the Golden Gate bridge. Get an electric bike! it makes it so much easierBest thing about this company to hire is...that you basically pay $65 to rent a bike, you can get $65 to spend at their warehouse.ITS SUCH A GOOD DEAL! its a sports warehouse, you can buy anything from shirts, to shoes to bikes. I highly recommend and try to pedal up to Battery spencer
If youβre in San Francisco and wanting to go biking, this place is great. They give you a voucher for the same price as the bike rental to use at a Sporting store you pass on the way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Hence the name, Basically Free Bike Rentals. The service was pleasant and the equipment good. We biked into Sausalito and took the ferry back. Nice way to spend the afternoon.
Great value for the money. You get a voucher for the bike-rate amount to spend in their sportsstore (everyone will find something).Bikes are lightweight which is important to climb most of thr hills in SF. Bikes are state of the art. Check brakes and gears before you go. helmet, lock and a small front-bag is included. Friendly staff. Thanks
Sounds too good to be true but isnt! You genuinely get $80 of credit for Sports Basement when you hire two sports hybrid bikes for the day. When we went to spend the credit we were told we still had a further $20 to spend because one of our picks was on sale. Couldnt believe they were actively telling us to go pick out something else for free!! No catches, we got really good stuff in the shop and our bikes then basically for free! Really good quality bikes, very easy to ride. Such a good decision to hire them - no better way to see the city.
Its a great place. The staff is friendly and the bikes are in great condition. They take the time to explain about the bikes and handling. Efficient service, in and out in less than 20 minutes. I would always come back and recommend them to friends. Thank you for making the SF Golden Gate bike tour such a memorable experience.
This is the place to rent a bike (as long as you can redeem the credit @ Sports Basement). The bikes worked, they were quality bikes and comfortable to ride. Seat was adjustable, and they give you everything you need to cruise around or leave the bike locked up. Loved being able to redeem the credit at the sporting goods store, although the store is a bit of a hike from any of the Basically Free venues. However its nice that you can return the bike to any Basically Free or Sports Basement. Would use again.
Just as it says... basically free as they credit you the cost of the rental for you to spend in their store... and itβs a big store. Easy to find something useful !Bike was well maintained, friendlyStaff, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They provided maps and excellent directions to where we wanted to go. I would recommend them for bike rentals. Was a great day !
Awesome place! Rented a bike without reservation, however they were out of the bikes we wanted (cheapest one) so we got a free upgrade to a better bike. Along the way is a massive store with good brands for which you get a voucher of the rental amount. Used it to buy a jacket to make my trip up the bridge a big warmer.Bikes were also good, except for the gears that did not really work when going uphill.
What a brilliant idea! Im not sure how they manage it, but you really get the value of your rental towards free goods at their store! The bikes were great and the people were friendly. We managed to do the ride with three children. Great day out, and you come home with a bonus. Five stars.
A great experience to rise a Bike indeed basically free No strings attached. The staff was welcoming and as a plus was able to remember were our party went that day and was really involved with our experience. The bikes were in great condition with very comfortable suspension on the bikes. We enjoyed our great trip over the Golden Gate to Sausalito tremendously. This will be an experience that my son will talk about for years to come.
Amazing service, could not fault. Recommended by someone back home (South Wales, UK), and we were not disappointed. Great bikes, easy to use locks, friendly staff with lots of local tips and guidance. Amazing concept with the balance of the bikes to be used as a voucher at Sports Basement; got myself a fab new pair of walking trousers :) super happy and could not recommend highly enough!
The concept is creative, Pay the bike rent but can actually get products from the store, on the way to the bridge, at the same value of the rent. The staff in the bike rent has highly service qualities and the renting process is easy and efficient, so is the return. It is the best deal in town to rent bikes. Highly recommended.
After researching various bike rental places in San Francisco we decided to book with basically free bike rentals, it was the best decision of our US holiday! Great service provided by Rich, who advised us to rent electric bikes, and great advice it was too. Amazing day cycling across the golden gate bridge to Sausilito and back, a must for any visitors to SF. We used the voucher Rich gave us in the sports basement the next day, and ended up getting $130 worth of clothing for free. Excellent service and would recommend thoroughly... no brainer!
Awesome place for renting a bike! Not only bike were good, but rental is for sure basically free. I rented a bike for $60 and they give me credit for $56 in their store. So I got $56 worth of stuff AND a bike for a day. I have only one place for renting a bike in SF now.We cycled from 9am till 8pm, for 60km up and downhill, and all 4 bikes didnt let us down. If you want to explore SF and surroundings I would recommend electro bike - much easier and more pleasant experience (especially for those who not used to cycling). And dont be lazy - drop by their store and use that credit, there are bunch of useful stuff there. Worst case scenario - just get some food and drinks. Thanks guys for your service, will be recommending you to everybody β€οΈ
What an awesome experience! You rent bikes and all of the money spent towards the bike rental becomes a credit to Sports Basement (great deals and brands). The guys at the rental place were super helpful as we decided which bike to pick and gave us suggestions on a route that wouldnt be too hilly. We did the all day rental and took our time going from the shop, across the bridge, through the GG Park, town, and through Fishermans Wharf and returned the bikes around 4:30. Overall, a great experience.
I cannot rate this place high enough. Five stars dont do it justice. We rented a tandem for the day (booked in advance, so it was about $45). We then received a receipt that allowed us to buy up to the value of our rental at sports Basement, no catch! Staff were friendly and helpful, we had an absolute blast! Thanks guys!!
Such a fun experience! Hugh was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place/ activity to anyone visiting (or having visitors) in the city!
Its a great place to rent bikes or go on bike tours. We where a small group of 4 and for 3 hours rental it cost $50 a couple so not a bad price but thats not all, when you rent a bike you get a voucher for sports basement which is owned by the same people,so what happens is on the way back from the golden gate bridge you pop into the shop and spend your voucher. The staff at the bike shop where great and gave us some good advice, they also told us where we could get a really good burger so that was great as well, also the bikes are good and they have plenty to choose from.
Way too long to get checked in and on our way, but seemed like some staff called in sick. The deal is that what you pay for bike rental, you get back dollar for dollar in their huge sporting goods store. It really is a great deal if you use it to buy something you actually need. The store has a great selection and the prices seem in line with other retailers. The store is on the main bike route so, if you can transport your purchase on a bike, its convenient. However, it might not be easy to get back to the store after you return the rental.
Excellent service, super friendly and helpful people and we indeed receive this voucher of the value of the rental... we couldnt believe it but it is true ! Great choice in the Sport Basement store, so youll find what you want and also you could add drinks/foods. A great idea, a great team
Rent your bike here...I REPEAT...RENT your bike here! Not only is their customer service top notch, but the bike selection is too! We rented the E-bikes and had the best time cruising around the city. The best part was taking our credit and spending it at the Sports Basement. Itβs a no brainer!!! The entire team at the shop was great to work with. We will definitely be renting bikes again from Basically Free when we are back in town. Donβt go anywhere else!
They actually are basically free! You pay for the rental but get credit at their sports store which is huge and has tons of excellent brand name outdoor wear, camping gear and other rentals. We got an amazing rain jacket basically for free since we were going to rent bikes anyway. The bikes were comfy, easy to get and return. Wed definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an active day trip.
Amazing bike rental! Could not believe we actually got the price of the rental to spend in the sports store (on the way to Golden Gate Bridge). Really friendly and helpful staff in the store who gave us a map and advised on which route was best to take for where we wanted to go. Thoroughly recommend.
The deal is just as incredibly good as it sounds, the staff is super helpful and nice, rented a really nice new tandem bike that took us to some incredible sceneries around the Bay, even the βroad serviceβ arrived quickly after being summoned to fix a flat tire. Getting a full rebate of the rental sum at Sports Basement was very simple by just showing the rental receipt at the counter, the rebate was valid for everything except gift cards & rentals in their huge selection. Easy drive-by-shopping on our way biking to Golden Gate bridge.
This is just the most fantastic concept and it really is for free. My family and I rented electric bikes for 2 days and experienced SF in a perfect way. We got up all hills and everyone on normal bikes were envying us :-) the icing on top was our visit at sports basement where we stocked up for our visits in 3 national parks with the voucher we got from our bike rental - yes itβs actually for free :-) So donβt be afraid that this is a deal that is too good to be true.
We hired bikes from the branch near the fishermanβs wharf to go across the Golden Gate Bridge and were so impressed with Sports Basement. Choosing and selecting the bikes was made easy and the staff gave a brilliant talk on the route and bits of useful advice along the way. We also got a generous voucher to spend in the main store. Really, really impressed with the whole service and quality of bikes too.
Incredible experience! We got the hybrid bikes (the cheapest) and biked 25 miles all day with no problems. Took the bikes across the bridge, on the ferry, through the park and so much more. Service was super friendly and thereβs 2 locations to pick up and drop off. Also the bikes do come with a lock, so great for stopping and going!
Collin was very helpful and knowledgeable. HE was great. Its not too good to be true. You get a credit to spend at a really nice sports store. Look no place else. Bikes were top of the line and the electric bikes are the only way to go.
Rich and the staff at the Columbus location were beyond amazing to help our family get fitted and set up to ride. Their electric bikes are amazing. We could not have made the round trip ride to Sausalito and back without them. We have amazing memories of our day of bike riding over the Golden Gate bridge. One of our BEST days during our visit to San Francisco!!! Shopping at the Sports Basement was a close second. ;-)
I like the concept - its a very clever way to bring customers to their shop! Bikes are good. Prices in the shop are a bit expensive but its totally ok if you consider that you have rented the bike for free - and the bikes are in a good condition! Please note that I lost a wheel during my trip, but it was fixed back in 5 minutes (its why I give 4 stars and not five). The concept is definitely great and innovative... for the shop and for the customers. The disadvantage is that you are a bit forced to consume and its not driven by need - you spend 30-60 minutes in a shop to get your prepaid good and not because you need something.Definitely the best offer in San Francisco for bike rental - and a bit ashamed of not giving 5 stars!Suggestion (if its not the case already), provide a map application for our phones with the roads you suggest (and the place of the shop). Its difficult to know where to go as an example near the bridge.
Great staff, quality service and travel info. And of course the store credit is awesome! I was willing to pay for just the bikes so the store credit was a bonus. Highly recommend the bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and back. This is the only place you should rent bikes from in the city. Itβs a no-brainer.
Very helpful staff getting us the right bikes and suggesting local routes. My chain came off soon into our ride but I swapped the bike for a new one at the Sports Basement store at Crissy Field.Thats the real benefit of hiring bikes here - we did get them for free as we bought items in the Sports Basement store!
It was a great experience! All what we expend in the bike was turn into credit!! The shop where to buy is in the same route you take to Golden Gate so you can stop some minutes and do some shopping! How do they treated us both at the bike shop and when buying was great! Definitely is the place where you have to rent bike in SF :)
Great place with a thorough consultation before handing out bikes. One of the clerks insisted on giving my girlfriend a more comfortable bike even though it was cheaper. They also will deliver you a new bike if yours has any issues like a flat tire. Great service!
Would definitely return - excellent service, bike selection, pricing, location & I couldnt believe that we walked out of the Sports Basement with zero headache and great gear in the amount that we spent on the bike rental. Super deal. The store is along the route that we were taking across the Bay Bridge and a pleasant stopping point.
Bikes were okay for our one day trip. We (family with 3 kids) picked-up the bikes at the shop at Fishermans Wharf. On our way to the Golden Gate bridge we could easily replace one of the kids bikes at their main Sports Basement shops since it was too small for our boy. Two of the bikes had saddles that were moving horizontally and even fixing them very hard did not completely solve it. Using the rental price fully as credit for their main Sports Basement shop is of course an unbeatable benefit. And the shop itself is huge and offers a lot of stuff for sports and outdoor activities. The employees in the main Sports Basement shop were very nice and friendly. The folks at the Fishermans Wharf that we met were also nice and friendly, but didnt keep up to the same level.
This experience was a laugh and a hoot from start to end. Our group of 20 was a late booking (6am on the day) and the team at Sports Basement responded brilliantly. Rich our tour guide was sensation, equal parts of humour, knowledge and organisation/group management. I can not express enough how Rich made some less than ideal experiences in San Fran so much better from his professionalism and enjoyment of his work. I am so glad we used Sports Basement to hire our bikes and ride San Fran! Thanks Rich and team.
We had two e-bikes and one sport-bike, all bikes were in a very good condition, additionally we became helmets and panniers and some hints for our planned tour, a good service. We had a great day and the e-bike was very helpfully ;-)But the best of all was that we got the whole rental fee (tax excluded) as a voucher for shopping at the associated sports shop near by the Golden Gate Bridge. They had a large selection of sports clothings, shoes and equipment. No problem to use the whole voucher, there is no minimum purchase. Great deal!
I dont know how their business model works, but it makes for a great bike rental service! They were very helpful at the shop and suggested a great route for us to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge and then see a ton of the city. Helmets and bike locks are included in the rental. We stopped at the cavernous Sports Basement and I picked out some hiking pants Ive been wanting as well as some additional items to use up our voucher. It all works as advertised; I dont know why youd use anyone else!
There are a lot of bike rental services in SF but I was fortunate to stumble upon this one. The process was simple and the experience was great. Plus you get to redeem your bike rental for store credit at the Sports Basement. Huge win all the way around. Special thanks to Rich, Marshall and team for sharing tips and getting us all squared away!
I had such a wonderful experience using this service over the weekend. All the staff were very friendly all day including when I picked up my rental and dropped it off. At one point I accidentally shifted the gear the wrong way causing the chain to come off but they sent out their rescue immediately and fixed it up for me! It was excellent! I would highly recommend to others who are visiting!
Well, its basically free bike rentals. It doesnt make much sense to rent elsewhere to be honest, at least if youre headed in the direction of the Golden Gate Bridge, which is where the Sports Basement store is located.Rental procedure is fast, enter some of your data on a PC, get your bike, pay and go! Bikes are in a OK condition, seats are comfortable.Once you reach the store you can shop for the value of the bike rental fee (excluding taxes). They have a decent selection of products in all sport areas, although I would have preferred more running clothes. There are also drinks and snacks that can come in handy for your bike tour. The tour itself to the Bridge and back is fairly easy, should be doable for anyone (some may have to push their bikes up some small hills.
Great bike rental, staff were friendly and helpful and yes we really did get the credit to spend in the sports warehouse! We were waiting for the catch but this really is a genuine offer.Bike rental was a great way to explore San Francisco especially cycling over the bridge !
Super experience at this rental. Super nice staff who take the time to explain everything well. You get route maps. For the rental price you will receive a voucher that you can redeem in the store that you encounter along the way for everything that is in store there. Staff in the store is super nice and wants to help you redeem your total voucher. We had two hybrid bikes that cycled very smoothly. This bike rental really gets a big compliment, thx guys!
We hired the electric bikes which were great! Double the price but you can cover a lot of distance easily. Plus you can redeem the cost at the sports warehouse which has heaps to choose from.
Rented 2 sport hybrids. In and out quickly, very nice staff. Cruises over 21 miles all through SF. Bikes held up well. Not sure how the business model works giving full credit of rental to use at Sports Basement, but an amazing value!
What a great business... So friendly and helpful. The cost of the rental is deducted from any purchases from Sports Basement. Sports Basement is also a great business with quality sport equipment. Great service there as well.During my bike ride I encountered a flat tire. I was referred to a local bicycle shop for repair. The cost was $20 and I was promptly reimbursed for the repair. The bicycles are quality and easy to ride. The rental included the helmet, lock, and bag. Great people... Highly recommended!!Thanks for a great day exploring San Francisco on a bike!
Great bikes, low price, amazing opening hours, and friendly service. It feels like Ive wandered into some parallel universe, and thats BEFORE you find out that your entire cost is credit at Sports Basement. The bike I rented was significantly better than those Ive rented at other nearby locations. Ill be going back for that reason alone!
Extremely professional company. 100% reliable. Their service, bikes and helmets exceeded our expectations. We had such an enjoyable and memorable first day in SF. We used the voucher for Sports Basement along the way and you can find almost anything there. The ride fishermanβs wharf to Sausalito was pleasant and 95% of the way was paved and safe to ride. What a day!
One of the greatest bike rentals Ive seen:1. Very friendly and informative staff2. We got some great quality sports gear in the shop basically for free - for the amount we spent on bike hire. No catch here! And the warehouse where we got the items from is vast, so plenty of choice!3. The bikes were really high quality - a must for hilly places like SF!Highly recommend using their service!
This is an amazing deal. They were great with getting you set up and ready to go, the electric bikes are a must do and a breeze to have on the very hilly streets of San Fran. Not only that but the sign is correct, it is basically free. You pay for your bikes when you rent but then they hand you a receipt for that amount plus tax that you can redeem at their store by the golden gate bridge which you literally just walk in and pick up anything and that credit covers it. So we had a 130 dollar rental which we expected but also got a hiking backpack and a few other cool things worth 130 dollars from the sports store as well.Would definitely rent here again!!
This business rocks. Knowledgeable, nice, friendly, and the kicker is you can use the entire rental fee towards purchases at their store on the ride to/from the Golden Gate Bridge. Gear is top of the line and stuff for all sports. Family was blown away and we walked away with what kids needed for school.
Great idea and the name of the shop is what it means! Decent bikes that were very comfortable. Get a voucher for what you pay to hire the bikes that you can redeem with no minimum spend. The shop has well known brands and lots of choice. You get a lot more than using other companies to hire bikes.
We loved our bikes. The tandem was perfect and incredibly easy to handle. Thanks so much. The store credit is a wonderful deal. Sports Basement was amazing.
Very straightforward. Good bikes. Easy streamlined bike rental process. Helpful staff. Great mission.
I rented an ebike for three hours on a beautiful afternoon. The rental was easy, the bike was great for going up all the hills, and I spent my reward on a cute little bag at the Sports Basement. I was skeptical this was too good to be true. The deal is for real, and it was so much fun!
βSkip the lines, save your money.βVery glad I came across this deal. The location was fairly easy to find. Its slightly off the beaten track, but this only made life easier; a lack of fisherman wharf weekend chaos meant I was able to get a bike quickly and get out quickly.Everyone else riding the path to the Golden Gate appeared to have bikes from the other company, but walking past the competitor, the line was long, the selection of bikes appear to be less and the price about the same. The bike provided by Basically Free Bike Rentals was probably the standard bike Ive ridden. Comfortable, suspension and quick. The hire cost goes towards a credit with the sports warehouse (which has one shop on the path). You have 3 days to spend your credit though, so dont worry about getting anything on the first day (unless you have time later).Worth noting that 3 hours isnt really enough time to get across the bridge and back on a busy day. Worth just taking bike out for the day.The bike comes with a comfortable helmet and a industrial lock for the bike.
So glad basically free bikes was across from our hotel! Most bike rentals in the city cost $40-$50 for the day, but for a little under $40 you can get a daily bike rental and the best part is your rental price can be used as store credit at Sports Basement! They have everything you can imagine at Sports Basement, I.E. Patagonia, outdoor equipment, bags, drinks and beverages, so it was super easy to swing by on our bikes and make a purchase! Essentially you get to buy something for yourself and get a free bike rental! Rental and return was super easy, and the bikes were great! Highly suggest biking the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito!
This is the best place to rent bikes in San Francisco! Great prices, very friendly staff and good bikes. Dont waste your time anywhere else
Incredible idea! Rent and get great stuff at a wonderful store: Sports Basement. Weve rented bikes when in the Bay Area for years. Not only was the service great, but the bikes were also well maintained and everything worked. Sadly, this is unusual for rentals as they are used over and over again. The bonus was we were able to go into a store (Sports Basement) that we never knew existed.
Went for the full day E-bike rental and was not disappointed. My girlfriend and I were able to get all around the city, over the Golden Gatebridge and up to the hills. They provided a voucher to be used at the store as well and I was able to get myself a nice new pair of shoes! But above it all was the service. After the day was done and we were tired from biking all day, I had a mental lapse and forgot my wallet in the bag provided on the front of the bikes. When I called to make sure it was still there, they were closing soon and I wasnt going to be able to get there in time. I was totally fine with waiting until morning to go and pick it up, but instead a lovely team member decided she would personally deliver my wallet after her shift. It was above and beyond what any worker should do, but it was much appreciated since I was only visiting for three days and wanted to spend as much time exploring the city as I could. So thank you to Basically Free Bike Rentals, I highly recommend their business.
Awesome! I rented the electric bike, the ride has been perfect and also I had a coupon of the same amount to spend on sport basement mega store. Thanks guys! Its a great experience and I highly recommend them.
It sounds like a deal too good to be true, but itβs not! I will rent from this shop every time Iβm in San Francisco from now on! Great service on an unbeatable deal!
A very good place to hirer a bike for the day. The service was fantastic with staff very knowledgeable of the area and the best part was the price was very reasonable. Would recommend for kids and adults.
Canβt recommend this place enough, we were going to rent bikes from another provider for the same price. We dropped in here, got the voucher for $50 and spent it in the Sports Store. There really is no catch, the store had lots of choice. Highly recommended. The staff were great as well.
Amazing! Got new Adidas shoes for renting 2 bikes for a day!Donβt forget to make a reservation online first, youβll get 20% off the price they are promoting which is already really good!We had to pay about 55$ and got a 52$ voucher (excl. sales taxes) to use at Sports basement.Awesome deal and really a must-do for any visitors to San Fransisco!
Great and friendly people in the bike rental shop. The bikes were good and we got a voucher for the shop. We thought there must be a hidden disadvantage, but it wasnβt. Got with the voucher some nice sunglasses in the sports basement for free.
You get store credit for the fee you pay it really is basically free. The bikes are good too very steady even on the highway near the vista point. Highly recommend. Staff are great! Listen to their recommendation.
Awesome experience. Great staff, really helpful and nice. Literally no problem with the bikes, and the store is really great too. We bought some stuff we needed and had our rental basically for free. Why go somewhere else? Donβt! This is the place to go!!
Very good service. The visit to the store is a good idea. We rent 4 bikes and with that we could buy a bag, converse shoes and one maillot. Great deal for us!
A very nice home, a reservation possible on the site that offers more a reduction, note of very good bike!Big plus π, you can enjoy a very attractive offer in their sports shop.I recommend.
Had a coupon for 10% off at another place but stumbled upon these guys. They not only matched they coupon but went another 10% off. The dude at the counter was awesome. Super savvy on the area. Gave us an awesome route to follow. Ended up at 32 miles of amazingness. The in store credit was a total bonus! Their store was super impressive and had I not been flying home, I would have bought more! Ha me guys!
Basically free because whatever you pay you get as a shopping discount. Excellent ebike. Great service. Efficient operation
We rented our bikes here for cycling across Golden Gate Bridge last September. This is a no frills, super laid back place to rent bicycles. They treat you like adults, and no deposit fee (they take your credit card info). Unlike Blazing Saddles, the place was very quiet when we swing by last time. The best part about this place is that you basically get back your rental fee in a form of gift certificate for Sports Basement. You can claim it for up to 48 hours after you return the back. The staff were professional and friendly. Truly an amazing experience.I cant recommend this place enough. if you need to rent a bike in SF, you need to go to this place.
They have Hungarian at the check-in device. I did not need it, but its still awesome! The chain came off my bike. I called them, we were able to figure out where I was, and I got a new bike in about half an hour. Nice!I lost my voucher, but not my discount! The store phoned the store where I rented the bike from, they confirmed I was there, and it was all sorted out.All the staff was friendly and helpful.
