These guys do everything BUT cut/style your hair XD. $20 for a simple beard trim? No thanks. Despite the priceyness, the staff are super friendly/nice, which turned out to be the only redeeming quality of this extravagant establishment.

The space is good and barbershop-y. I go here because Id follow my barber anywhere and he chose here. Apparently they have a really good eduction program and treat the barbers well. So they attract top talent. Prices are a bit high and they dont offer you a drink, like say Peoples does.

Pretty expensive place, especially for an average haircut. I think that there are definitely better spots in SF, especially if you’re not looking for anything crazy. They do sell good hair products though, Baxter of California is a favourite.

The barber I had wasnt really professional. She didnt know how to do my beard properly and couldnt get it to be the same shape on both sides until in the end I almost wanted to tell her to shave it off completely because it wasnt going to be fixed anymore. In terms of price although my barber experience wasnt good at all. The price was fair for SF.

I thought I had left a review for Rays already but Ill just say if youre down in the Financial District and need a haircut, theres no better place to go. Ive gone a few times now in the middle of the work day and have always received quick, exceptional service. From line-ups to fades and tapers, Ray does it all.

My boyfriend gets his hair cut here all the time and he looks so great. The barbers and staff are all very professional when I visit and his specific barber is a really funny guy. Great service :)

Got a beard trim and shave. Rosa did a great job. She gave some great recommendations to visit while in town. Shop was clean and well organized.

This is a very clean and inviting place and I have always had a great experience with the barbers here. They lose a star with me, however, because the person working the desk there was rude to me in a way that made me uncomfortable about going back. Looking forward to Peoples on Valencia reopening.

Haircut was technically clean. But Barber didnt listen or confirm how much I wanted off on the top. Just went in and took a huge chunk of hair right off. I have had amazing haircuts for $15, this was $50. I would suggest getting a haircut outside the city. There is a lot of talent and they are just too rushed. Too busy for walk ins and the when you do make an appointment dont expect to start on time. Wanted a good haircut for Christmas with the length that my wife likes. You ruined Christmas Fellow Barber ;)

Ive been getting my hair cut at Fellow Barber for probably four years now, here and also at the Mission location. Obviously I keep coming back for a reason - every once in a while, when the stars align, you can get a great haircut. They also put a lot of care into the experience. It can be really niceBut they are just totally unreliable. They finally created a reservation system a couple of years ago. Great. If only it wasnt like 50% of the time that I get called five minutes before my haircut and told that the barber is running two hours behind or never came back from their lunch break or some other BS.You know what, stuff happens, thats fine. But if the barber is running so far behind, couldnt you have told me that like, 45 minutes ago? Before I left work and walked all the way over? Also NO I can not wait around for two hours in the middle of the day. Are you joking? In all the time Ive been getting my haircut with Fellow Barber, theyve consistently been, I mean, I dont know what else to call it other than just totally disrespectful of their customers time.

I had gotten 2 haircuts from a competitor, about 3 months apart over the last year. I told her I wanted it long on top, short on the sides. She cut a lot off the top and used a 6 blade on the sides. This was in conjunction with a beard trim and blade lineup, which had not been trimmed for a year.After the initial shock wore off (she cut a lot off) Im really happy with the way I look. Very business appropriate, vice the homeless look I had going on. I think my beard looks better than it ever has. My only complaint is I wish she would have done more with scissors, vice clippers as I have a few strays longer than others at the part. If I return, I will ask for Rosa again.

I got a decent buzz cut for a fair price here.The staff however appeared unfriendly and stand-offish.The concierge entered the wrong kind of service in to the system, but that was no problem in the end.

I love to have my hair cut there. atmosphere is great. only one thing: the online booking system sucks.

If they are killer and it looks good and people like it and my girlfriend likes it, my clients and prospects like it so I can look good for my presentations, I WILL DO IT!So why one star?Because, I respect and honor my time. I have my own errands to do.My appointment was for Tuesday, August 16th at 1:00 pm.I arrived at 12:40 pm. I checked in and I was told to make myself at home. I two other another man seated in the waiting area. one with short hair and another one with rather long hair and a beard. Both on their cell phones.A woman comes out and says, Steven? and the short haired guy stands up and goes to the back.The man with the long hair stands up and then goes to stand behind the front desk. Ahhh! He works here! I get it, he was just checking his phone while on a break. I saw to myself.But then I wait another 10 minutes past my appointment time without anyone coming to me and say, Sorry, we are running a bit behind or Adam, may be bump you back somewhat in time?Nothing.So, at 1:10 pm, I canceled and rolled out. I showed up, they didnt.Also....I am happy about this!Due to a $45 price tag for a high quality haircut, they lacked customer service and communication!What if the Barber cut my hair in a way that I did not want? What if the Barber did anything that was not as I had asked?I would had to go back and reflect on the fact that they didnt respect my time, they didnt respect or honor communicating with me about a short insight of being of service to me.I think that I dodged a bullet!So to the front desk guy who didnt update me, Thank you! You probably saved me from a bad experience.Recommending this place is not worth my time, but posted a bad review up on Yelp or Google is worth my time.My time is precious to me, especially on a lunch break time window on a Tuesday.

The final haircut you receive is highly dependent on the barber. Ive basically asked for the same haircut the last four times I visited, but all four were different. I found it difficult to consistently book the same person every time. Heidi was by far the best for me.

Definitely worth the high price this place demands. The place is cool, has a very friendly dog, and they were accomodating when it came to changing appointments. Has a pretty cool layout with a pool table and a display rack with their products.I used a few photos from Instagram to show what I wanted, and the haircut was on point. My guy used products that werent greasy and kept the style throughout the day. Wasnt extra chatty and didnt try to sell me their products (which is a big plus for me)

Im a hairdresser and was visiting San Fran before I headed down to LA. I was in desperate need of a fresh cut and shave and found this place. Let me tell you, I couldnt have been more impressed. From how I was greeted at the front desk to the atmosphere of the shop, it was a great experience. Princess was my stylist and Ive had my fair share of barbers but she takes the cake. It is obvious she takes great pride in her work as an artist and professional. I wish theyd open up in Chicago because id be a lifer there for sure. If you are in the San Fran area and need to look freaky fresh, get to this place.
