Good prices (for sf) and never too long of a line to get a cut.

I called to ask what times they have available. They asked for my name so they could look up my profile in the system.I said hey, do you need that info right now, or can you just tell me what times you have available today? What youve got might not work with my schedule.They said we dont need that kind of attitude in our shop and hung up on me.

I went in for a haircut at the barber shop and my usual barber was over booked, so I was set up with Carlos, I was a little apprehensive, I dont change barbers unless I move or they die, but I should have known anyone working in Ivans shop is top notch. Long story short Carlos gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had, he had me looking in the mirror saying ( mirror, mirror on the wall damn I look good.

Carlos give a beard trim and razor line-up like Ive never had. Hes an artist (actually, he is). Blanca gives just as good of a haircut without any fuss. Highly recommend.

Caleb always does a great job. Cuts usually on schedule, good quality, decent price.

Place is horrible I wanted to get a cut but two guys were arguing so it made me withdrawal my choice to get service here

Love these guys! Robert is my go to but I trust them all with my hair. I’m considering moving to the east bay and honestly I’d still come here to get my hair cut. Robert is the king. So professional and has great attention to detail. All friendly and a relaxed environment. Keep up the great work

Overpriced, unprepared for what was charged. I had booked a shears haircut for $45, and I don’t really feel like my hairdresser was very experienced with scissors. I also left with a lot of leftover hair in places like my ears, which other barbershops will usually tidy up. I much prefer Refinery Grooming or JP kempt instead of barber & gent. Your experience might vary, but mine definitely wasn’t worth the price I paid.

Very mixed experiences... Sometimes a great haircut, sometimes you show up for your appointment find the person you booked isnt there.Sometimes they take their time, sometimes its a 10 minute rush job.Tried 5 times... not prepared to gamble any more..

Barber and Gents has the best fade Ive had in San Francisco, and is owned and operated by local SF residents, who have long supported the Mission neighborhood. Using online appointments is the way to go!

Made an appointment for 7:30 waited till 7:45 no one showed up. Called their number no one answered or called me back nothing but a waste of time. Had to go to another shop that was open.

Twice now I have made an early appointment and no one is there to open the store. This was last month but my Buddy dave just told me this happened to him recently so now Im writing a review so people are aware of this unprofessionalism.

Had the most fantastic haircut and experience here, travelled from Sydney and barber from Wisconsin, highly recommended and happy.Adrian
