Prices are very reasonable for the quality, it’s not your standard cookie cutter clipper cut that most barber shops give. I was recommended this place by my sister who has been a customer for a couple years. Easily booked an appointment on their website for Franz. I came 5 minutes early to the 10am appointment and he was there before me!Ive been growing my hair out during the Covid pandemic for fun, but after my sister called me a shaggy dog it was time to get a cut.I came knowing I wanted an Asian style bowlcut, and I showed Franz a few pictures. He immediately got to work on the shape of my hair before going into more detail. While cutting away, we talked for a long time about video games and anime.I actually got lost in the conversation and forgot about my hair. Halfway through, he asked me to help him in the right direction for what style I wanted. I was less afraid to ask to trim more, showed him some more pictures of different bowlcuts, and he mostly got it down!Since its my first time and I didnt direct him much, he says he is still learning my style. He also introduced me to texture dust sprays, which would help dry and keep volume in my moist hair.I give this place 4 stars, Im a fan, but I need to come back again in a few months to see if this deserves another star!

Ive been coming here for more than 4 years and its phenomenal every time. Jeremy is a super nice and chill guy, and always does a great job with my cut and styling, and even once when I went in for a color. Feels like a VIP treatment each and every visit!

I booked an appointment online with Savannah. Appointment booking was very smooth and I received reminders by email and text. I am very happy with my haircut. Savannah did a great job figuring out which style I was looking for as all I told her was to cut my hair shoulder length. I wound up with an A frame and some great layers. Very happy with the cut and highly recommend Savannah as shes been in the business for a while and is very knowledgeable. She also does color.

Tubbs did a fantastic job! Very professional and courteous, even before I got to the salon, notifying me of a schedule change and technical issues so I could get cash on the way there. While other salons seem to overcharge for what you get, Id say my cut was definitely worth it!

Thaddeus does a clean fade. One of the best barbershops Ive been to. Would highly recommend coming here if in SF.

This place is awesome, feels cozy, and the crew that works here are great people. Ive had cuts from both Jeremy and Thaddeus and they deliver quality style cuts every time.The cuts are priced competitively with other barber/salon shops and lean towards the higher end.However, with the great conversation and attention to detail - I feel that it is worth it.Go get yourself a personal cut here and rack up those compliments.

Very unusual to see a place that gives both great adult haircuts, and can also do a great toddler cut!

This was my fist time to a new barber in a while. I was trying out a new haircut for the fist time and I appreciate that they took a little more time than most to talk about what I wanted before starting. I also liked that they used some techniques (e.g. a straight razor) my more old barber didnt, so my cut definitely looked better than what I could get before.

Nice neighborhood salon. Very accommodating stylists. I just say what I want and they really listen. So far cuts have been better than color but Im sure I can do a better job of advocating for myself. Last time I had roots done and I didnt get a toner so ended up with some brassiness

Jeremy has been cutting my hair for about 3 years now and Ive been very happy each time I go in. His attention to detail is top notch. When I was in college I used to get my hair cut at an old school barber shop. Jeremys shop has a nice upscale barber shop feel but they also cut womens hair too. Always clean, professional, warm shaving cream to shave the hair off the back of your neck with a straight razor, warm towel on your neck after the shaving. Will continue to come here for as long as Jeremy is cis cutting hair.

After growing my hair out for the past four years, I finally decided to go short. I bought a yelp deal and asked for the latest reservation available that week, so I wouldnt have to leave work on the peninsula too early to get there in time. The receptionist said that the latest time slot was that Friday at 6:00PM. I still had to leave work early because of the traffic and got there at 5:30. Phil, the hair dresser, was cutting someone elses hair, so I sat and read a magazine. Eventually it was 6:30 and nobody had acknowledged me. Only after Phil wrapped things up with his other client did he say hi, and apologized for the wait, which I was pretty peeved about.However, Phil was really nice and did a great job at hacking off 15 inches for me. I really like my cut, which is impressive because I often dont like my hair short and regret cutting it. Not this time! Overall customer service could be improved, but I was generally pleased with my experience.

Wish I got the dude...girl totally messed my hair up. I dont know if it was intentional or not but didnt notice til I got home. They seem very nice and eager to make conversation but sometimes it just feels forced. Just my experience tho ^.^

When I go into a hair salon, I have trouble articulating how I want my haircut. Franz Jeremy can do a lot from only a few vague statements, and I am always impressed with the result.

Was hoping I would find my neighborhood salon, but my haircut is terrible. I have straight shoulder length hair and all I needed was a one inch trim. How difficult is that? The cut is so uneven, that I cant even let my hair down! Ugh!
