Not worth the hype

I was using united Polaris lounge during my Singapore airline business class flight and was happy with it. I am very impressed with the boarding process and how professional the staffs during check in. It has been a while since I fly my country airlines but glad that it always impressed me with excellent service.

Do me a favor. If you have Star Alliance Gold status, dont go to the United lounge even though youre flying with United. Go to the Singapore Airlines lounge. Its much quieter, better food and drinks.Im still kicking myself for not knowing this sooner. Rather that served with pastries and cold food, I can actually get ham and cheese, hot food and other good stuff. United lounge tends to be very crowded as well. It seems they just let anyone in these days. Make your way to the Singapore airlines, its a much better experience.

Got a chance to travel with Singapore Airlines to travel and back from San Francisco. The staff were very friendly, I had to undergo an issue with my itinerary, they solved it smoothly over few hours and ensured a safe and enjoyable travel.

Small lounge but generally less crowded than the nearby United lounge. The laksa (picture below) is always great!
