Wow, what a bunch of liars. They went to the wrong address and called the wrong number to try to rectify the situation. Then they went home again. Nothing done. Later when AAA asked them to come again TO THE RIGHT ADDRESS later at night, they claimed an ABSURD story about being robbed by two people in ski-masks earlier (I live in one of the safest neighborhoods in SD) and not feeling safe coming to me at night. So, we scheduled for the morning. In the morning they didnt come again. I called AAA and asked where they were. Back to the not feeling safe bs again. Unbelievable. They said they would come in the morning and then reverted back to their lie about not feeling safe, dropping the at night part quietly. AAA needs to drop these clowns.
Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid! I had the unfortunate experience of having my vehicle towed here after an auto accident. I obtained all the paper work and went above and beyond the requirements as set forth by SDPD unfortunately the staff here wouldn’t allow me access to the vehicle. The lady at the front desk told me the paper work didn’t have my name on it, even though it did. And continued to tell me only the insurance company could access my car. Even thought the sign on the wall said other wise. Very disappointing, they made a bad situation worse.
Pacific Auto Tow was dispatched via AAA for a flat. They put the spare on so I could make it to Discount Tire. Discount claimed one of the lugs had been rethreaded and was forced to break the stud to remove the tire. I discussed with the mgr and informed him the lugs came on/off with no problem and explained I believed the issue was the torque wrench the tech used. Discount turned me away taking no responsibility. Called Pacific Tow. Justin jumped past all the BS, ordered then installed the parts at no cost to me. Absolutely professional conflict resolution for a situation his company may/may not have even been responsible for. Very pleased. Thanks again Justin.
I called number of times to verify the documents they need for me to retrieve the vehicle. Was told photocopies we’re ok but power of attorney needs to be the original.Showed up and the clerk was pleased that I had my papers in order only to go in the back office and come back saying they need the originals.My aunt lives in LA which means I have to drive up there again to retrieve the documents when they should’ve told me so to begin with.My aunt is disabled and am helping her fix the car which I temporarily parked on the street due to traffic on our driveway when it got towed.We’re they trying to stall in order to accrue more charges?Will you help me keep this business honest by reporting to the BBB?
On 7/13/2020 I was in a car accident off the 5. The CHP called the tow trucks to the scene and my car was in their Miramar until the 16th morning. When my car was transported to my insurance yard the 16th morning. I arrived when my car did. I found several items missing from my car and both of my bolted down amps had been nearly completely unscrewed and the wires were disconnected. I called the office twice and said that thief on their end is not possible and then told me a manager would contact me but never did. My car was 100% tampered with, my items are 100% missing, and my amps were nearly stolen too. I watched my car be loaded onto the truck and I know they were in my car during. Maybe I was that one unlucky client but that was my experience. Good luck
On December 13, 2019 about 1:30 am on my back from San Juan Capistrano to home town San Diego on the 805 freeway, there was a ladder on my line unable to prevent it, my front tire clipped the ladder cause it a flat tire and I be able to manage to pull to shoulder to call for help. My vehicle equipped with Onstar to help they ( OnStar) be able to contact roadside assistance. They got hold off Loyal Towing Service estimates about one hour to get tow truck to stop by. Thirty minutes passed by called dispatcher (Loyal Tow service) on it way. Another thirty minutes passed they didn’t show up. Called Onstar the get hold off another Tow service ( Roadway Towing) and they did the same as the first tow service. I have to use my insurance they be able to get Pacific Autow Center. After they get call, the tow truck driver Juan ( Romeo ) send me a text message on his way after 15 minutes he was there to change my tire. Thank You Pacific Autow Center and Romeo. I will recommend Pacific Autow Center to all my friends and family also where I work.

Contacted AAA for assistance and Paola from Pacific Autow Center showed up in a short amount of time. He was very professional and friendly and charged my dead battery, checked my car’s alternator, and even checked my tires. He did not attempt to hard sell me a new battery and instead suggested that I have my regular mechanic check my battery. I appreciated his honesty and work ethics.
They told me that they would be here in 60 minutes, and I have been waiting for almost 2 hours. Their service is horrible! I already tried to call them so many times. If u are using AAA you should refuse to use this tow company.
Even though it was the last place I wanted to be, considering that my truck was towed there at the request of a (Less-than-likeable) pair of San Diegos finest... The staff there was actually really cool... I wasnt going to be able to get my truck out of the impound, So they let me get my personal belongings out which was a real plus in my book... Anyway... these guys are the very few that set a higher standard...Shot out to my boys at Pacific Autow Center!

No one likes getting their car towed but this was the best experience ever. My dad and I were about to leave the VA hospital when his car died. We called AAA and they gave us a 45 minute ETA. Pacific Autow called and said it’d be 30 minutes - Tony showed up earlier than that! My dad was already in a lot of pain (hence why we were at the hospital) and he was so thoughtful with transport and the route we took. Just the best service - thank you so much!
Great service, waited while we picked up a copy of registration, business 4 blocks from towing company, and for a fax from the auto dealer. In and out in about 20 minutes. Awesome.

Vehicle was towed with AAA service, only to be told that I cannot use AAA because my vehicle was deemed a restoration project by the Pacific Autow driver. While my car is an older car, it is by no means a restoration project. It is a vehicle that I drive that broke down near my house. I had to tow it to my house to get it fixed to the point in which I could even safely tow it/bring it to the mechanic. Driver used well I can just leave or you can pay for the ride tactic, because I need the car fixed, I said yes. I hope I never have this driver again.
Their service is terrible. They are motly running a joke than a business. My car was towed there and after talking to them several times on the phone they could not communicate what documents were needed to take the car out. The manager was rude and kept interrupting while I was talking. I ended up sending a documnt 3 times!!

I applied for this company and was almost to get hired but i ran through a really rough sitiuation, but take my word the owner mr mehdi is amazing guy and streight forward, and the manager is awesome although he was my instructor .

These guys are great. Very professional, and knowledgeable about how to properly tow vehicles. They normally do not do tow for the company that does the roadside assistance for my insurance but they still came through when two other tow truck companies just couldn’t do the job in a timely and professional manner. Definitely going to sign up for AAA so I can have this level of service always.

I got stuck with flat tire on Sunday around 3:00pm on the freeway 56 and 5 I called Pacific auto center asked for roadside assistance and they sent driver he showed up after 15 minutes and help me change the tire in 5 minutes.The service was great they showed up sooner then I been told and the price was very good too.I will recommend them to anyone

Mika says they have the car but I need to bring DMV registration. Car is stolen and registration is in the glove comparment. Mika says no. Had to pay next year reg. Mika send me to Miraindustry.- Show up there. Car was in Poway but they make us wait 30 min to pay some dollie we didnt ask for and after hour fees (notice they are open 24/7). They assure us somebody is waiting for us in Poway-Arrive Poway. Lot closed and nobody to be seen. Call Mika again. Well the gut went to do a job despite being told to wait. Wait 15 minutes more and finally get the car.The only person that was courteous was the young man at Miraindsutry service counter. The dispatcher Mika wasnt courteous, had the wrong information causing unnecessary time waste and didnt follow up with the recovery or her oversight.Total time 3h.

Today I was in a car accident in Downtown. Police officers called this tow company to transport my vehicle. I was assured by the driver, Aaron, approximately three times that the cost of this tow would be under $100, specifically $80-$85.Upon arrival at my property he informed us that he read the paper incorrectly and the actual price would be $178, plus any other mileage and taxes. This is nearly $100 OVER the cost he quoted me three times for. Due to their contract with SDPD, they refused to waive the price difference because all charges incur on the customer. When the price quoted to me by Aaron, three times, is a mistake, this is money that their company needs to cover, as this mistake was their’s. Not all of these charges should incur on me in this case. The only reason that I agreed to this tow was because it was under $100. The fact I had to cover this mistake on their part, makes me feel as though this was a scam. Their customer service is superbly unacceptable.Furthermore, upon arrival at my house, realizing and informing us of his mistake, Aaron contacted the supervisor. He was completely honest about his mistake, but the supervisor repeatedly told him to apologize to us but we have to pay the difference. At this point I became upset - and rightfully so! I had just been in an accident, I’m in shock, my car has been towed, I feel as though I am being scammed from him. I raised my voice and told him he needs to pay this difference. He says he doesn’t have the money, I say I don’t either. Aaron proceeds to laugh in my face, sarcastically say “Bye!” and run to his truck to take my car to the tow yard, where he knew full well I did not want it want it to go. The misogyny here is unbelievable. He makes a mistake, refuses to pay for it, and I’m not allowed to be upset? He can laugh at me and just take off because he doesn’t want to deal with an angry female? If he had taken my car to the yard, he knows VERY well it would have costed me even MORE money, as they charge a daily fee of $50. To his credit, he did release it to my dad, who ended up paying for it. The problem is that in his misogynistic mind, even though he made a mistake, he shouldn’t have to deal with an angry female “because that’s just policy,” so he would have just taken my car to the tow yard. He wanted to financially punish me for reacting to his mistake. THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE. No one, especially someone who is in shock from just having been in a car accident, should have to deal with this treatment.If they contact me with a resolve to these issues, I will update my review. Until then, I would like to give them 0/5 stars, but 1 is the least I can do.Update: They called and they are not going to refund the money because they assume insurance will refund it. He said “If I return that money to you and you get it back from insurance, you’ll be double dipping.” Double dipping? It’s money I shouldn’t have even been charged in the first place! No one should have to cover their employee’s mistake. Also, apparently youre not allowed to get angry and raise your voice at the drivers, even when they make a literal $100 mistake. If you ever have a choice, or are using AAA, DO NOT let this company tow your car. Period.On 2 occasions they took over 4 times as long as they quoted, and when they finally did deliver my vehicle to a collision center, they had heavily damaged the vehicle. The wheel well had a massive dent in it which I know, and have photo-evidence, that it was not there before.I was towed because of a slightly bent axle, but when I received my car, the axle had been broken entirely.All this after a 4 hour wait, during which I was told in 4 updates that the car was just being loaded.Idk if they have toddlers for drivers or really just are that bad, but you do not want your vehicle in their hands.
I have had the worst experience of my life dealing with this so called company! My car was towed to AA Budget and the driver of pacific autow center let my car off of the ramp and smash into a parked truck. My car was dented and the tail light was busted. I know mistakes happen and was not upset at that point. The driver said he was sorry and that they would pay for the damages. I called the number given and spoke to numerous employees who kept saying, I will give John the operations manager the message I would then wait for a few days for a call back. NOTHING HAPPENED. I would call back again and asked to please talk to the manager, AGAIN, I was told by another person they would give the operations manager the message. No call back. This has been going on for months. I have cried, pleaded, and begged for someone to help me get my car fixed. I have, to this day still not had a call back from anyone. I have finally had enough. I have been forced to now purse taking this company to court. All over a few hundred dollars in repairs that could have been taken care of months ago. I really hope you consider going somewhere else because I would not wish this on even my worst enemy. The unprofessional ism and the total disregard for a customer care is just unbelievable.

This company doesn’t know how to properly train tow truck drivers. The driver was rude from the intital phone call he sounded agitated for no reason at all. He had attitude with the customer was cursing and yelling which is completely unnecessary in any situation especially because the customer was not yelling or cursing, the driver AGRESSIVLEY dragged the car onto the bed of the truck while the customer was in the car! How unsafe and unprofessional...disappointed that triple a is contracted with a company so unprofessional. 0/10 don’t recommend!

I ran over a dead animal at 1 am on Thanksgiving. The bones had made a huge hole in one of the tires. I called them for a tow and they showed up quickly. They took notes what type of low car I had and they sent the right tow truck to avoid any damages to the car. They towed the car to the dealer and provided a ride home for me. So my early thanks on Thanksgiving went to Pacific Autow Center.
My car stalled in the middle of a very busy Poway Road. On his way to another appointment, Mark from Pacific Autow came by. All on his own accord, he hooked me up and towed me to the closest service station. Dont know what I would have done without him. Thanks again.

(SVO#10177 Driver:Juan H.) I had broken down on the side of the freeway in California while visiting from Washington. At first they quoted me a time of 2-2.5 hours. I was concerned about being there that long so I had someone come and pick my son, fiance and I up. They called me back about 35 minutes later we had just gotten to their house he said he would be there in 10 minutes. So I headed back. I gave him permission to start loading my car when he got there so by the time we showed back up my car was loaded and ready to go. He was very fast at unloading my car and he was very helpful.

Extremely professional, easy to work with, and explained everything when I had questions. They towed my car twice even with the steering wheel locked and they were ingenutive, prompt, and were able to get me out of some tricky situations.
What a bunch of crooks! Towed my for being 8 minutes pass the time. Wouldnt take it off the truck then charged me $300 to get it back after I walked 15 minutes to their location. Do sad this is what business do. Ruin my vacation because I wasnt right on time, at 11 at night. Hope this business crashes and burns!!
The tow truck driver caused $400 in damage to my forks on my motorcycle. I currently have my bike being repaired at lees cycle. If im not reimbursed for the damage pacific autow has done i will be filing a lawsuit. If you are a potential customer reading this, DO NOT USE PACIFIC AUTOW. i have pictures and video of the damage they did to my bike. I had a feeling this company wasnt legit when the google address is fraudulent, i called and asked where my property was and they told me google has had the wrong address on this shop for 2 YEARS. So i finally get to my motorcycle and find it with oil leaking from my forks, now keep in mind i have put a considerable amount of money into my bike, the people there did not care what so ever about what they did to my bike. I do not understand why CHP would use the services of this place, im sure that CHP must not be aware that PACIFIC AUTOW conducts this activity. I will be contacting the BBB after this review.
Ordered a tow from AAA. Driver called 2 times and hung up. I called back 4 times and driver didn’t answer. Instead driver just left without even being in the area 1 minute!
