Sid was responsive and incredibly professional. I hope I am lucky enough to have Sid continue to review my properties. Many other Appraisers are not responsive or not professional. Sid provides appraisals based on true market comps. If that’s what you are looking for, make sure you call Sid.

We have texted and called many times to get an ETA on a report that was resubmitted for changes because the original report was not completed to the specified guidelines. It should have been completed correctly on 7/25/2021 its not 8/09/2021 still waiting on ETA. They also charge charge additional fees for changes.

Inspection was honest and fair. The company really showed detail in property comparisons.

I had a great experience with South Shore Home Appraisals. I called up Sidney for an appointment and he came out that same week and had my appraisal ready within a few days. The following year I needed some paperwork filled out referencing the appraisal Sydney had done for tax purposes and Sydney got the paperwork back to me promptly. I definitely recommend Sydney for home appraisals.

I recently had to obtain an appraisal of my condo for estate valuation purposes. I don’t have any friends/contacts in that field, so I had to do some research into how to find a real estate appraiser/what to look for/etc. A point I encountered again and again in my research was to make sure the appraiser is knowledgeable about your neighborhood, and even better if that knowledgeable appraiser actually lived or worked in your neighborhood. (I guess it’s not uncommon for some appraisers to drive far afield from their ‘home’ areas all in the name of landing an appraisal gig.) All that being said, Sidney Loiseau was the perfect (and easy) choice for me. Not only did he have more positive reviews than any other appraiser in my area, but his business address was just a couple blocks from my condo—BINGO! I was pleased with all my interactions with Sidney, and he produced a beautiful and professional appraisal (well, I’m not sure that appraisals can be beautiful, but regardless, Sydney nailed it—it WAS beautiful. P.S., I was under the gun time-wise to submit this appraisal to the estate people, and I really appreciated how Sidney went out of his way to accommodate my time constraints!
