I work in events and Ive had the opportunity to work with many different party rental companies in San Diego. Platinum is awful with communication and their pricing is higher with no better quality than almost any other rental company in SD. Dont be fooled.

I cant believe it m has taken me so long to post this review. I absolutely, 100%, recommend Platinum Event Rentals! I was the maid of honor to my sisters wedding in Vista, Ca August 2019. The wedding coordinator had another local event rental company but wasnt too confident in recommending them. I found Platinum on Yelp and because of their amazing reviews and incredible photos, I reached out. Cristin was quick in getting back to me and was very detailed of the whole process. All questions were answered thoroughly and I felt confident in making the suggestion to use Platinum for my sisters wedding. The day of the event couldnt have gone more perfect. Everyone was on schedule and the layout was set up to the T. Pick up was on time and done in an orderly fashion. I am attaching two photos so you can see how magical the day was. I am so grateful to Cristin and Platinum Event Rentals. They are seriously the best rental company in San Diego. Call them, you will not regret it. Thank you Cristin and the Platinum team. Wish I could give zero stars. They stole my deposit! Go with another party rental company that has all the same high quality rentals without the high prices and all additional fees. San Diego Party Rentals saved the day and my budget!

I didnt have a great experience neither rented a lot of stuffs so I just talking about my experience. I rented 3 silver chiavari chairs, 3 and I cant believe the ones they gave me were very bad, all pelled, dirty, the pads were yellow and looks all old. At the beginning when I rented I was so exited because I ordered through the web site and looks easy and fast but the surprise was when i got what i ordered.

This place has everything you need to set up an exceptional even. Ive used them a couple times. Prices are reasonable and the staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. Better than another place we used for our wedding.

Cristin over at Platinum Event Rentals was one of the most helpful people I’ve ever encountered in customer service. I must have changed my wedding rental order 20 times, and she would respond every time with such positivity and promptness. It was truly a joy to work with her. She came to the walkthrough of the wedding venue with us to see how many feet of market lights we would need for outside, and worked with the venue manager to confirm when and where the team could set up. You can tell this company has been around a while, and is truly good at what they do. The prices of their rentals were amazing as well, we got the fruitwood folding chairs for the wedding ceremony and then they were later moved to the dinner tables, and they looked gorgeous up against the ivory tablecloths. This was initially how I found this company, was their pricing for the chairs was cheaper than others and they had good reviews. Well thank goodness I found them because I ended up adding more and more to my order with them instead of other vendors, because of how easy it was to work with them and how competitive their prices were. It was my perfect vision. Our sweetheart table was their farmhouse wooden table, and they draped some ivory chiffon across it, which looked so romantic and beautiful. Could not recommend Cristin and Platinum Event Rentals more, will be using them again in a heartbeat for any event rental needs!

I can’t rave enough about Platinum Event Rentals! We used them for our wedding setup and couldn’t be happier! And when I say wedding setup we literally brought in everything — it was just an empty ranch until platinum event rentals showed up. Sydney was so flexible and responsive adjusting everything for us with my 5 million emails making changes! And the delivery men who came and spent FOUR hours setting up went above and beyond! I will NEVER go back to or recommend any friends or family members to Platinum Event Rentals!! And I will also tell everyone I know about my bad experience. I called the day before my daughters wedding to touch base & make sure we were good. Thank God I did because they did not have me on the schedule for deliveries!! She said we over looked it if I wouldnt have called......imagine a wedding at the beach with no canopy & no chairs for my guests!!! Ok so it all worked out, I got over it & I was never rude or acted upset with anyone from Platinum. Well on Monday (next day after wedding) I seen on my online banking that Platinum Events charged my card an amount that was NEVER authorized!!!!! I signed & dated the form that authorized them to charge my card $260.00. They charged my Visa $535.00!!!!!!!!!!!! Its been a week today & they STILL havent reversed it & took care of the problem. When I called them to tell them about this problem....the receptionist was unapologetic!! And at one point she even told me....If you let me speak!!!!! I couldnt believe it. I wanted to speak to the manager or owner but she insisted that she could fix this!!! It hasnt been fixed. My bank advised me to file a dispute because this could be considered fraudulent because they had NO authorization!!!!! Im also doing this review on Yelp!!!

We recently used Platinum Event Rentals for our holiday party. Everyone from Carrie in the office to the delivery crew were polite, friendly, and professional. The prices were very competitive. The delivery crew was on time and the set up was perfect. Will definitely use them for our next event.
