The worst manager, Darrel, that you can imagine. I and my 2 boys were there couple days ago. My boys were touching WITHOUT opening or destroying toys/merchandise. The manager, he was organizing vegetables, came over and arrogantly said DONT TOUCH ANY TOYS !!! If you guys dont allow the kids enter, you should put big sign outside SAYS KIDS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER!This happened to us multiple times, we just ignored him, but this time he is beyond. As manager he supposed to know how to talk without arguing with customers!

The worst 99 c store customer service. Is near my house but I drive to other 99 c store.And I don’t understand why you return an item next day they give you store credit. I bought two item round light checked in Amazon and found stronger for cheaper price and return the next day . They gave me store credit. I don’t know if this is legal. One more thing, that was a fight between employees and didn’t even realized I am there.

I walked into the 99 with my dog in my arms the entire time she is quiet and doesnt move, when I was leaving I was told by 1 employ (who looked like a customer) to have my dog on a leash. I had walked past many of the workers and NONE of them said anything about my dog being off leash and in my arms. A cashier even said my dog was cute and said nothing. I saw many other dogs off leashes and in their owners arms and in carts. So why was I the only one who had something said to them?Also dont try going by what aisles say they are because its not organized.

Place where we can save our money with good product options for our family. It allows us to supply our family. A great joy to have this tool.Amazing!

Well you know there are those stores that you know you like mostly in your neighborhood. Like Vons or Ralphs or home Depot well this 99 cent store is mine its got everything there, produce, gadgets, even dog food, I mean they even have black out shades, you know those window blinds that you cant see through completely black those are cool they look nice too

99cent store...its a simple store with just about every gadjet for your everyday purposes..Its loaded from paper wtapping to food items..And the low prices are unbeatable ...I really suggest this store..I got a couple if flops for the beach.. Are you crazy 2 pair flops for $ 2.01..anywhere else I would have paid at least $ 10 bucks...

Every time I come the wait time to check is crazy so i come here today im still gete waiting tonpay for stuff the line is halfway down the Ailes on 2 registers the management is none existent. You cant even find the manager its 714 on a Sunday rediculus

There are many $1 items. But, it is no longer a true dollar store. I was coming here 3x a month or more. Now, so much is priced from $1.49 to $24.99 that Sometimes, I think it isnt worth the trip.That being said, if youre looking for produce, this should be your first stop for some great prices!

They have a lot of stuff at unbeatable prices, name brands too. Fresh veggies and stuff that I can find only here.

I really like this place now. I’ve been coming to this specific location because I live in the area. They’ve had different managers in the last year. And I have noticed a big difference in the store since Daryl (store manager) started working there. He’s very helpful and I can see he’s great with his employees as well. The store looks a lot cleaner and shelves are full of merchandise all the time. They have have great deals almost every day in their produce/dairy departments.

Even though some things are more than 99 cents its still the best place in town! For bargains but you have to be careful to make sure its worth it.

I like this store but I do not like that they allow dogs. Sometimes the floors are really dirty, but they have a great selection of food, so I like to shop here. I always get good deals. They always have bacon, which is a plus!!

At this store you can find everything you need. The workers there are also helpful and friendly. I usual shop there often but today I had a very pleasant experience.I went to get a few items and while in there, my 2 year old daughter Emma picked up a guitar and I got a floating device for swimming which was on clearance for .25 cents along with some groceries. I was satisfied with my shopping and proceeded to the checkout counter when I realized I didnt have my debit card. So I quickly reached into my bag pockets and tried to put together some loose change. I did put together enough to purchase some items, but not enough for the guitar and the flotation device.Long story short... A young lady named Anna saw my struggles and offered to pay for this two items. Now, even though the items only cost $1.25, I am beyond grateful!! That was really kind of her. It was a wonderful experience to know people there are people who still care about others. She gave me hope and I give God the glory!

Price is always good but they need help the place looks bad the The Ledges look half-dead starting to create mold but yet youre still on the Shelf the canned stuff is always the safest to go with is not in the best of areas but I guess thats why its $0. 99 she can find one in a cleaner area I would say go for it but if you absolutely have to then stop here I know I wont be doing it again

Good place to get various items from carrots to wrapping paper. But, they probably need to change their name from 99 Cents Only Stores to 99 Cents & Up Stores. So many items over $1.00 you have to read labels very carefully.

Huge 99 Cent Store with tens of thousands of great buys. But no cashiers! Went in for a few things. Filled a whole basket. I went to check out, there were only two cashiers!! And literally 35 people in line! My frozen food was melting. And by the time I got home my friend and helper had left. :-(

I love going to the 99 only store for the produce. They dont always have the same things, so be careful! I love finding cauliflower and artichokes for 99 cents a piece! They will have bagged zucchini, bags of potatoes and onions and containers of tomatoes.

Worked at a 99 cent store in downtown before, I don’t understand how this 99 lets their cashiers be really rude. I go there maybe daily since I live walking distance from the town square and 4 out of 5 times I’ve been attended by a cashier named Angie who is mostly always in the first register and has showed me terrible customer service. She seems upset most of the time and rushes to get to every single customer, gives me attitude when I ask for bags as if I’m slowing her job even though I always ask before she starts scanning. Other than that the selection is great and has very nice stockers who seem to like their job

Not every 99 cent store is going to carry everything, but this store is fantastic for produce. I regularly find beautiful artichokes, cauliflower, organic salad greens, and asparagus. During the holiday season they have fresh cranberries. The lines are usually long, but the checkers are efficient and there is plenty of parking. Compared to other 99 cents stores it is clean and organized, and their electronics/tool aisle is at least twice the size of other ones.

Terrible now that the virus is out. Very rude. Stock the store at 11 am. I can’t even shop with the employees not doing the six foot rule. Bout to punch your employees in the face. Just wait for it. Well stocked and surprisingly well kept 99 cent store. I go here a few times a week and can always find what I need.The checkout lines can get a bit long and the spacing of the lines from the aisles means things at the front of the store tend to get a bit crowded.Even still, with five or so people ahead of me Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes.

Nice, big and larger selection than most. Lines can be long . Understaffed.

Most items cost $1 (99.99¢), except things like eggs and milk. They do not take coupons. They have produce, which is sometimes $1 per pound and sometimes $1 per package. They have the usual bathroom items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and bar soap. They have cleaning items like scouring powder, scouring pads, bleach and various other cleaning products. They also carry a variety of canned goods, cereals, bread and tortillas. They carry paper towels, toilet paper and Kleenex (off brands). It is a good discount variety store. They do not give cash back on ATM purchases.

They must not have gotten their weekly coffee shipment cuz they were really in short supply.

Great optional store. It carries tons of stuff. You can find some well known brands as well. Very convenient for party favors and treats.

Did not know they sell fresh produces. Great place for inexpensive berries and vegetables. But, make sure to check and get the box because it seems like older products might not be removed as often.

I was there on 12/3/16. Even though they have a good selection of interesting items, I really did not find any 99c ONLY items. When I checked my receipt, I see .999 which is a dollar. I know a penny is not much but this is misleading and fraudulent when you have a sign that says 99 cent only and you go inside and get charged a dollar. Also you should change your sign to dollar plus because you have items selling for more than a dollar. This is very misleading. Merry Christmas!!

They havevsuch great prices its difficult to complain about anything else BUT this store is always dirty, the carts are all over the shopping center, and the outside of the store looks like something youd see in an apocalyptic movie! My daughter and I went to this store today, in tow we had our 2 green cheek conures. One was in a carrier and one was on my shoulder. Darell I assume was the store manager approached us and was extremely rude in telling us our birds were not allowed in the store! When he saw Boomer (my conure) on my shoulder he informed me that was unacceptable. He said only dogs are allowed! How can he determine what animals are emotial support animals. My daughter and I were very upset with the way he spoke to us. There are no signs stating no animals are allowed in the store. If animals are not allowed it should be posted. He definitely didnt need to speak to us the way he did. He clearly seemed to be under the influence as well, do you drug test your management? I am really disappointed in the way we were treated and we will not be returning to this store.

The owner refuses to turn on the air conditioni ng. It is stiffling hot in the store. Even the employees are suffering. They say he said it is too expensive. I tried again today andhad to leave right away. The Mira Mesa store is nice and cool. It is a little bit further away, but it is a much better shopping experence. Clearly the owner doesnt care about his patrons.

They turned the air condition down so low its very hot and stuffy. So much so that you dont browse around to see what goodies you can find, that you hurry to grab your things and go before you feel faint. The lines are long and the cashiers are short
