Absolutely LOVE this place. They were a bit swamped but they had me in the massage chair soaking my feet while I waited. The nice man who did my pedicure was SO sweet. I had a blister on my ankle from my new sandals and he made sure to avoid the area and even offered me a band-aid when I was done. The woman who did my nails was super sweet too! She was fast and great to talk to. Everyone there was super nice and caring all while doing an amazing job. If I were to be nit picky, the butt area on the massage chair could use some more padding but that didnt take away from my experience. Heads up: tips are cash or venmo so be prepared :)

Best experience in San Diego thus far. I could make an appt online. Got a text confirmation. Did not have to wait long the two ladies who did my manicure and pedicure were amazing. Just got regular polish and still love the quailty. They were not pushy about gel anx really completed my mani pedi meticulously. The shop is huge, clean, and confortable. Ultimate pedicure was just what I would expect! Great job!

Amazing! They dont cut corners and their prices are reasonable. $42 for basic mani/pedi. $55 for a deluxe mani/pedi where they massage for a good 10 minutes! Clean. Great massage chairs.

Arrived 5 minutes early to my 4:00 PM apt. Two women who were there for their 4:30 apt were sat and serviced before me...after 25 minutes of waiting my services started. I came in with the exact nail shape I wanted, nail tech changed the shape and every single nail looks different. Pretty disappointing job after I was super patient and paid for a sub-par dip. No apology was offered and manager was the one who did my nails.

I don’t like the technique of how manicure and pedicure were done. They tore off the cuticle with tweezers, which then grew quickly and unevenly. Also, gel nail polish was not neatly applied. However, the staff itself is very friendly

Decent work.... if you dont mind the wait. We had an appointment and it took an hour and 18 minutes for me to get started and my friend (who is a man and felt slightly discrimated on for being ignored) an hour and 43 minutes to get worked on. Plus they served people who came in AFTER us as well. Hope they can fix whatever appointment/walk-in system they have in place or just be honestthat it wont be done when they say it will.

I scheduled a last minute appointment for Saturday morning and they werent super busy or crowded.I made an appointment for a dip powder and pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was amazing and it didnt feel rushed at all. Whats more amazing is that, She did NOT cut me/my skin while trimming my cuticles! Which is a huge plus for me. I opted in for the #2 pedicure that was listed in the services book which I believe was either the luxury or ultimate pedicure. I feel like I got my moneys worth and wasnt skimped out on anything. The pedicure was pretty much spot on an hour long service and my dip powder manicure took about an hour and a half. The gentleman that did my nails was gentle and also did NOT cut me while trimming my cuticles. His shaping was also on point plus he didnt forget to put cuticle oil when finished.Their services book and online services when scanning the QR code looks a little different, so make sure that you are confirming your prices. The lady that did my pedicure made sure to confirm my pricing for both of my services before they started on anything which gave me piece of mind, I appreciate that she communicated it with me before hand. Both of my services were done at the same time.

I went with my daughter to get a pedicure, I pay $120, I will never return to this place. My daughter had an infected in the big toe on her right foot, I had to take her to the doctor to give her medicine for the inflammation and infection.

This place was very friendly and had many colors to choose from. The prices were a little high and the pedicure was just ok. But they were quick and polite.

The owner is literally the nicest, friendliest human being Ive ever met. I took my daughter (13 years old) at the time so she could get her nails done before our trip to NYC (pre-Covid-19). They did the best job ever! Perfect for a 13 year old girl. Not too much but not too little. Weve been back ever since and will continue to go back.

I get a gel manicure roughly every 6 weeks...It is the best I have had. Not thick, just the right amount.When they were closed earlier last year I had to wait four months to go back. My nails looked pretty bad, BUT not one broke! That is doing it right!

Im posting this 2 weeks after going, but the peeling of the manicure happened almost immediately after I left. They dont know what theyre doing, I cant believe my SNS manicure peeled off in layers. You can see it in the pictures. She applied gel top coat and made me stick my hand under the UV light, even though I insisted this is not how they dry or how to top coat the manicure. Waste of money and of course my nails started to peel within the day. Then, to top it off, my nails were uneven and there was polish on my skin I had to remove when I got home.

My go-to nail place! Super clean and adhering to covid guidelines. I always leave with amazing nails.

Mary does a FANTASTIC job on my nails. Really exactly what I wanted and she is fast and thorough! Communication can be an issue and the “boss” is constantly trying to upsell so that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I went in at 7 days and really just wanted a color change and finally just ended up getting a fill early because it was just easier than arguing lol. He took over the conversation as soon as I asked for a color change. I’ll be using Mary from now on though despite the annoying guy because she does SUCH a great job! PS: price for a fill is typical. I pay $42 whether it’s two weeks or one week lol! 😉

Really expensive acrylic nails with tips. I paid $62 for acrylic nails and they still told me that they would normally cost more. When in other nail salons they cost $35 for full acrylic nails with forms. Other than the price range really great work and customer service.Update: Its been two days after I got my nails done and the color started to peel off.😡😡Im upset because I paid $62 for the chrome to just come off after two days!?!?

Really unfortunate because I heard so many great things about this place, but I got my nails done with dip and they looked amazing for the first week but then the top glossy layer started to chip off. I went back and they were nice about fixing it and told me to come back if it was an issue still and like clockwork about a week later the top layer on about half of my nails started to chip off. unfortunately I couldn’t go back because I was on a trip but I’ve had dip last at other places for over a month so I will not be going back.

Came into town for the weekend and had a nail emergency so I looked up nail salons close to me and found Downtown Nail & Spa. I walked in and they seated me right away for my pedicure and fill .The facility was super clean and had great selections of polish.Amy was the best nail tech! She was so friendly and sweet and did a fantastic job with my pedicure. My fill turned out amazing too!Thank you for a great job! Would highly recommend and will come back if Im ever in town again!

I’ve been going here since I moved to SD - best salon in downtown. All the technicians are good, variety of packages / prices and usually no wait (though it’s better if you can call ahead especially if you want to specify your technician).I get (natural nail) regular mani - pedi with xtra callous removal and it’s a great deal for me at under $50.

I love Jenny. She always does a thorough beautiful job on my nails. She knows my personal taste, and will recommend different ideas for me to try. I have been to other nail salons in the past, Downtown Nail & Spa in my opinion is the best!

Went in here with high hopes do to the review. But by the end of my visit I just Slapped a clear coat on and called it good. Basically spent two hours in a chair to end up paying $40 for nothing. The man doing my nails did decent. But one lady from the front desk actually ARGUED with me about what I wanted. Everyone I would Explain what I wanted To the man doing my nails, about 5 minutes later she would come up and tell him to stop and do something different. She would not listen to me and made the entire thing frustrating. My acrylics are all different sizes and lopsided. And the one nail I actually got glitter on is patchy and chipping off 20 minutes later.My friend as well had to change her whole color and design set because they weren’t able to do it and even after it was messed up. Even tho I’m extremely agitated and won’t ever be back. I’m not saying everyone there is incapable.$40 poorer and very disappointed.

This is the place to go. I called to check if they could do my hands and feet in one hour. I showed up and had less than an hour. They did it all in 50 minutes. Sean did a wonderful job for my hands and nails. Ken was just as good for my feet and toe nails. While soaking they provided a nice massage for my forearms and calves. I highly recommend this place. There were parking spots just in front with a meter. Really a convenient location. They have another salon on F street. When I am back in San Diego, I will go back there. Clean, friendly and efficient.

I recently moved to SD and its hard to find a nail professional that I can trust. I went in for the 1st time today. My nail professional was Lee. She was awesome because she did what I wanted in a quality and efficient manner. I showed her stiletto shape I desired on Pinterest and she duplicated it exactly. I look forward to going back and being a regular to Lee.

This place is a complete rip off. They charge you $5 to take off gel, $3 for almost every single nail polish, and then on top of it their prices are already extremely high. Ive been to a ton of nail salons in San Diego and have never found one that I would tell everyone to stay completely away from, until now. Dont waste your money people

Clean. I was taken right away. (I wanted a pedicure in a massage chair. A different salon didnt have one.) The woman who took care of me noticed that the polish color I chose wasnt noticeable and offered to change it if I wanted tho my second choice color. I did.

Jennie is the best! Everyone is sweet and my nails look flawless every time. She also waxes my eyebrows and people compliment how good they look. Shes the only one I would go to in San Diego.

This establishment is a room of Asians talking amongst each other and laughing while they are servicing customers. It seems as though it is a family run business, therefore there are kids walking around, playing games, eating around paying customers. YUCK! I experienced one of the employees guarding the door prior I made my payment as if she thought I was going to ditch my bill. I was so hurt that someone would think of me doing such an act. I hope no one else gets this type of treatment because it hurts like hell.

Pedicures are over priced at $28. Got the sea salt scrub addition and it was basically the same scrub that all nail shops use as standard protocol for a pedicure. Id recommend going elsewhere.

Shape could have been better, but i like how they took me right away 50 for a new set with take off for a additional 5 bucks . Hope they stay on. More of a tourist spot than locals coming thru here.

I dont always get a mani-pedi, but when I do, I go to this place. Get the girl with the eye patch, she is sooo funny looking she keeps my pet orangutan captivated for hours and hours!

Worst quality gel Ive EVER had. Ive been getting gel manicures for years. At this place I paid $12 extra for chrome. One of my nails chipped almost entirely off in 6 days. I came back and asked them to fix it and was told they were too busy. For how much I paid (over $80 with a tip) this is totally unacceptable. Do not come here unless you want to throw away your money on low quality polish and poor customer service.
