This is my first time here in this pretty nail salon. The store was pretty small but really clean. The lady who done my nail was really nice but I forgot to ask her name. Will be back for sure :)

They’re so amazing. All Staff are nice and clean with their stations. Diana is absolutely FANTASTIC. She’s so sweet and so so so talented!!

UNACCEPTABLE customer service. Paid $63 for a Gel manicure and regular pedicure. Within 4 days the gel manicure began to chip. On day 7 I called to come in for a fix. They refused to accommodate on a Saturday and would only accommodate on Monday which I explained wouldn’t work because it would require me to pay childcare (an additional cost to the customer). This was my first time using this salon in my 6 years of getting regular gel manicures in San Diego. Never have I run into this poor of a service and lack of customer service.They refused to honor a customer who has already paid for a service done poorly over customers who have yet to pay.

Dont use Elaine. She does not use the electric files but does everything with standard files. Turned out poor quality. I also made appt. For design which she does not do. Had to wait for another stylist to fit me in for my design. A one hour appointment turned into two hours. I am normally very satisfied with their service. Not this time.😞

Great service! The nail tech was so nice and careful. Great attention to detail. My nails grow really fast and a week later they still look pretty good! Very happy with my nails :)

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!! My mom and I have adopted this location as the only nail salon we will go to now. Nails dont need to breathe, I would have acrylic nails all year long. I think my longest record was about six months. I MIGHT beat that record this time around. ANYWAYS...Kim and Tammy have been doing our sets since two Halloweens ago. They are extremely talented, as the rest of the girls and guys there are, but they seem to figure out exactly what we want through pictures and our inability to say what it is that we want haha. Most of the time my mom and I match and we get a kick out of it! They have never let us down and that is what we appreciate. Theyre a great team there and we will remain loyal to The Little Nail Shop! 💖💖💖

I’ve been coming to get my nails done for years by Tammy, the Best!!! I’ve gotten to know the owner Jeanie and she is so nice and has always been so helpful. Jeanie keeps the nail salon updated with the decor and keep it clean.I’ve had pedicures with Irena and Casper,,,,also great.I recommend this nail place to all my friends and they love it.

My nails actually turned out great! The reason for the 3 stars is because when I made the appointment, I told them, specifically, I wanted ombré nails with gems. The nail tech didn’t seem aware of this and said she had to rush. Also, I was 8 minutes late so that was my bad and I totally understood she needed to rush and not spend lots of time on the little details. While she rushed and did a great job while doing it, I didn’t get the full manicure experience like the work on the cuticles, filing my nails down, wash the dust off, massage, etc. I’m pretty bummed about that part and feel that while I was a few minutes late, they weren’t prepared for an ombré set of nails.

It has literally been two days and i have two painted nails left on my gel manicure. The girl, I think her name was Amy, she was super nice but she ground my nails down with the drill at the beginning even though i didnt have any polish on my nails and ive never had my nails drilled before. Then twice she used the wrong kind of base coat which made the color i wanted apply unevenly. It was only on the third try of applying base coat in which she used a base coat that worked with the gel polish causing a normally 30 min gel manicure to last around 55 min. Like I said, she was nice so it was whatever. But now, two days and $38 later, 90% of the polish peeled off and my nails are damaged from being drilled. Maybe she will never find the right base coat, god only knows.

Just moved here and have tried out a few nail spots and this is definitely the best one out of the hand full I’ve tried. Diana was efficient and my nails look great!!! The nail salon itself is very tidy and clean. Will be back!

I had a really lovely time here. The shop is clean and very cute. My service providers did a wonderful job on my nails and Im really happy with the manicure and pedicure I received. Masks, temperature checks and appointment are required. The receptionist also gave me a call prior to my appointment and let me know they could see me earlier. The prices are very reasonable, especially since the services were so well done. I will absolutely be back!

This place is so cute! The staff is amazing and very friendly. They keep everything so clean. Thet did an amazing job on my nails and didnt take super long! They use good products too. I love my nails. They do amazing nail art and to my satisfaction too!

The fastest most precise care I have gotten by a nail tech since moving to sanding almost 4 years ago. Im happy to have found a new nail salon home because its tough. Give this small shop a chance and book in advance because they are always Busy

Highly qualified ladies that are nail design experienced. Workmanship of employees are detailed oriented and efficient with their time. You are actually greeted with a smile and warmth rather than darting stares and silence. Prices are considered comparable for the service and fanciful results. Appointments highly recommended because of their committed clientele.Disadvantage: no spa pedicure, no spa massage chair. Rated 5-stars because this is an ethnically diverse employee salon. Location is easy, plenty of parking, near highways near colleges, near restaurants, gas etc. Ask for Kim, Charlie or Casper.

I have been to this nail salon a few times but the last time I went it was horrible and I decided not to go back again.Idk if the person was new but when they removed my acrylics it messed up my nails so bad. It was so bad to the point where my nails were red and it even hurt when they touch warm water. My nails had never been in such a bad condition so I couldn’t get them done. It was sad bc I had to wait a few months for them to grow back.I paid $30+ and now I regret it.

Jeannie and her team are the best! Ive been going here for a couple years now and they always do an amazing job and give great customer service. Definitely plan on calling to make an appointment; sometimes they have walk-ins but they book up quickly, especially on weekends. Let them know if you are looking for nail art and theyll hook you up! Everything is reasonably priced, the salon is clean and calm.

First time here and will definitely be coming back! Very sweet and attentive staff with a huge array of both gel and normal polishes. Completely fair prices for the quality of work!

My daughter and I had acrylic fills with designs and gel on top. Excellent work and adorable salon! Our nails look just as good 2 weeks out as when we just got them done. Love this place!

Always book an appointment a day in advance to guarantee the time is available for what you want done. Any nail tech here will create the nail design if your dreams. With the price you pay well below what is spent at a “boogie” nail spa, you can be contributed that cash as a tip. Because these folks deserve recognition and compensation for the exceptional craft they’ve spent years developing.

Worst manicure and pedicure I’ve ever gotten. I have no idea how they have such good reviews. I literally have to go get another pedicure right after this place because it was so bad.

Poor customer service, did not let me finish asking questions on the phone about a nail fix. Poor attitude from the lady on the phone!, do not not recommend this place! I wanted to get a nail fixed as well as a polish change but she didn’t even give me time to ask about that, just said “well you didn’t get it done here” lol.

Tammy has been doing my nails for 15 years. She is so excellent at her profession, that I drive 30 miles every 2 weeks for her to do my gel nails. She can do ANYTHING that has to do with nails. The shop is so pretty and clean and cozy. Jeannie is the owner and I cant say enough GREAT things about her. She is professioanal, friendly and truly wants every customer to have a great experience. Moved to Mission Valley in January and wanted a nail shop that was convenient to my apartment, came across the Little Nail Shop and I love it! Have been going there ever since! They do great work and they are so friendly! The shop is adorable as well. Great people! And such a great selection of colors too. Being in the military, I have to maintain neutral colors. With them having such a big selection of colors it makes it easy for me to stay within regs and change it up!

I felt like they truly cared and took their time on my pedicure and the ladies were so sweet! I am now going there for all my manicures and pedicures :)

This is what they did in the nail to my husband. 5 days ago I took him for a pedicure and this is what we got a big infection on his toe I try to talk with the owner and she just want me to email her what happen ...???😡 now we are going to the hospital .. .but i cant stop to think about what that woman did to make my husband so sick

I am from out of town and needed a manicure and pedicure so I googled and found this gem of a spa. The ladies were professional, friendly,, it was clean and I liked that they used the disposable bowl covers for my pedicure. Even though the chairs did not massage they were comfortable. They ask me every step of the way if I liked what they were doing and that was very considerate and kind. I left there very happy. If I’m ever back in San Diego I will go back to see them. Great job!

They were very professional and made my nails look great! I had a shellac manicure and they did two coats of primer and three coats of color, much better than some of the other places I have been to in the area. They also have a punchcard for a free manicure! I will definitely be coming back. They only take cash tips!

I got a great dip manicure, and my nails look great again after getting a horrible gel manicure from another shop in town, they were misshapen and super thin. They are perfect and nicely shaped again. Pedicure was nice too except the chairs aren’t that comfortable and the water doesn’t stay warm. Will definitely be returning.

I had a pedicure with Lucy. She is an amazing masseuse that gives you the best foot massage ever. Ask for the extended 10 minute massage for only $10. I give her a 10.

They have very good price, especially when comparing to other places that sucked heavily. Im very happy because I just moved to San Diego and Im very picky with pedicure because Im Brazilian and we have really good manicure/pedicure there.

It was by apt, super busy. Nails look good and they offer a lot of styles. Was a fairly quick visit and the person that did eye brows had already gone home ( more than an hour before closing). Chairs are not real comfortable and the buckets for pedicures look small, no massage chairs and the decor is a little dusty.

I had to give 1 star to write this review. First 2 times I came here they did a good job. This last time was horrible. I showed nail tech a picture of how I wanted my nails. She was in such a hurry she rushed through them. I had a very important event to go to that evening. I did not have time to have redone.They were so thick and bumpy I left in tears. It is so frustrating to keep having to remind them throughout manicure what youre wanting to be completely ignored and them having an attitude towards you. Speaking in a foreign language the entire time of your visit. Its obvious they are speaking about you when all other techs are looking at you. Very disappointed. Will not go back again.

They were great enough to take me in last minute and I felt so bad because I was the last customer in there but they were still sweet, professional, and my nails have never looked better. And you know that sore feeling you get the next day, I DON’T have that. Thank you Kim!

This is my second time here. First I saw Casper who did an amazing job on my gel nails. Today I saw Kate and oh my gosh she did a wonderful job as well. Both were very knowledgeable, careful, and precise. I think Ive found my new nail spot :).

I visited this shop recently, after going to N.S. Threading (great place next door!). I hadnt gotten a pedicure in over a month, so I was really looking forward to this pampering. To my dismay, the person who did my feet (she had a flower tattoo on her right shoulder) had a less than courteous attitude. She looked like she was grossed out doing my pedicure and kept speaking to fellow peers nearby in a different language. I was/am offended by her unprofessional behavior. When an employee is giving a service, they should use discretion when speaking loudly in another language around the client. Even though the employee may have been talking about something unrelated in her native language, I felt like I was being targeted and talked about. This behavior was unprofessional and disgusting. I will NEVER go back. I left a tip because its a hard job... but she didnt deserve one.

Always my go to spot. They can do all types of designs and art too so if youre looking for hard gel or nail design they are the best. A little higher than normal prices but the manicure last twice as long. I get ombre over gel and it lasts a month for 35$ instead of 2 weeks at any other soon so its really worth it. They never chip or break and Ive been going there over 2 years steadily 👌

Super cute and clean shop with theee most friendly staff ive ever encountered. I have found a home for my nails. I always go to Tammy, she is AMAZING. She is very meticulous with her work and always makes sure everything is perfectly shaped, filed, designed. Ive gone to a couple other people when she was not there and they were also great albeit a little slower which is fine by me as long as they are doing good work. The owner Jeannie has always been helpful and cheery whenever i book appointments and when i see her in the shop. Check them out! You wont regret it

The person who did my daughters nail was so moody, mad a mean face when we asked her questions. She cut my daughters finger with the buffering machine. Some of the nails are uneven as she got almond shape. The white nail polish was not smooth. Its hard to go to a place where customer service is bad. Only the lady in the front was nice. Will not be coming here again. Also, they need to blast the A.C. when its full of people as it could get pretty warm inside.

Casper did an amazing job on my Jel manicure. The staff are very particular about making sure you get an even, full coat. In and out quickly. Establishment is clean and all of the people working there are friendly and respectful!

I had a simple manicure for my first visit here. The manicurist was Kate and she was friendly and professional. The shop was very busy (I had made an appt) but Kate paid close attention to me and was not distracted by other workers or clients. The manager stopped by to say hello. Next time I will go in the morning as I think it would not be so busy. My appt was at 3pm.

Ive been going to Tami for gel nails for several years. She does amazing work! The salon is always clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend the Little Nail Shop.

Ive been a loyal customer for 3 years. There are some really talanted nail artists. However, for last couple months, Im upset with customer service they provide. Even if you made an appointment, you have to wait at least 15 min. It seems like they try to get as many customers as they can, not really paying attention to customer service. If you value your time, I would not recommend you to go there.

Out of town visitor who found this on google. Reviews were good. I was a walk in about 4 on a Tuesday. Luckily they had 1 opening. I waited about 10mins and got my pedicure. They offer a lot of services. My tech did a great job. I was in/out about 1hr. Prices are reasonable and posted on their site. People are nice and professional. the salon is clean. Advice: Call ahead to make an appt so you’re guaranteed an appt. extremely pleased with the service!!

Great service and price!

Im unsure how they have such great reviews... i waited 25 mins (had an appt) before someone got to me. My gel mani/ pedi was not relaxing at all it was painful and awkward (using a bowl of cold water to put your feet in) super uncomfortable chairs and now i have multiple bloody cuticles. Ouch, never again.
