Sebastian was absolutely amazing, he went above and beyond to make sure we were getting exactly what we envisioned.I first came to Sebastian with no idea what I was doing in looking for an engagement ring and with a short time frame of when I needed it. He explained to me in detail all the intricacies of what makes a quality diamond and how different characteristics of the gem, setting, and metal impact the cost of a ring. He worked patiently and was never pushy in trying to up-sell or hurry me while I was viewing designs. Once I settled on a design and price point that matched exactly what I wanted, he bent over backwards to help me get the ring in time. Sebastian was also extremely transparent in the ring making process, showing me the engraved serial number on the diamond before and after being set, then gave me a certificate of authenticity with a matching serial number.My wife and I came back a year or so later to have custom wedding bands made to fit her ring. Sebastian was once again extremely patient and accommodating. He gave us tons of advice on what approaches we could take and worked within our price point. I wanted to share an experience I had with the Williams and Sons Fine Jewellers in Carmel Valley at Del Mar Highlands Town Center.I brought my Bell and Ross BR03 Aviator Watch into Sebastian Rajabi to install a new battery. Sebastian had never seen my watch before as it was custom made for the airline that I fly for and was a limited edition. It obviously had a lot of sentimental value to me and I wanted to make sure that it was given the care that such a watch deserves. Upon installing the battery successfully the crown appeared to not activate the digital section of the watch and I could not use it. Of course I was very concerned that the crown did not work. Sebastian agreed to cover any damage that he may have caused to the watch. I then sent the watch to one of two Bell and Ross certified watch repairmen in the U.S.(L.A. and Florida). It cost me $58 more (FEDEX) for my trouble and they were able to sort the problem at no charge. What I really appreciated about Sebastian and Williams and Sons, is that they picked up the charges for the transport fedex to and from the certified Bell and Ross watch repairman. As the crown is quite a complicated part of this watch, it would be easy for someone not trained on Bell and Ross watches to install the crown incorrectly. I really appreciate the attention, professionalism and integrity that Sebastian exercised in making me whole for my troubles. I will continue to be a client and I can vouch for Sebastians professionalism. Thank you Sebastian.Dave

Sebastian hit on my daughter, saying hed like to observe her play video games with him. Offered his laptop, to be able to game together. He asked if she lived by Barona. He asked where She worked. She went in to sell rings and she told me if he hadnt been holding her Drivers license as ID to sell the jewelery, shed have left much sooner. He creeped her out.All of this had to have been recorded on some security cameras in the store, so others would know.

I wanted the stone to be GIA certified and to confirm that the engraved serial number matched the certificate for our own peace of mind.Prior to discovering William & Sons, we had spent several long and stressful afternoons in the LA jewelry district, and we were feeling very underwhelmed and discouraged with our options. I wanted my diamond to have that “wow” factor and be wholeheartedly excited about my ring... and so far that wasn’t happening. And he was happy to show us that the engraved serial number matched the GIA certificate, which was the last bit of reassurance we needed. I recently went into Sebastians store to inquire about getting my engagement ring reset. His designs are stunning and from what I can tell visually, the craftsmanship is top-notch. Sebastian himself is excellent to work with - polite, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and takes a lot of pride in his work. I have not yet decided what to do with my ring reset but I have seen his designs and work in store and they are stunning. I have had him work on a very special bracelet that was handed down to me from my grandmother. He did a wonderful job repairing and refurbishing the precious piece for me. His prices are reasonable and he is a pleasure to work with. I sent a friend to him who used him to repair her grandmothers platinum and diamond wedding set. He did a beautiful job and had it done quickly. She was very pleased. Normally I dont do reviews, but when someone goes above and beyond they deserve recognition. I picked out my dream wedding ring solitaire mounting from this jewelers collection. You literally can not buy it anywhere else without a diamond already mounted in it, but I found it here and... I bet if he didnt have it he would have found it for me. One problem, it needed to be tweaked in order for my diamond that I already had to fit. He let me know they do all their own jewelry work and he could make it happen for me. I was skeptical to say the least as I am a perfectionist when it comes to something like this. I was worried about compromising the look of the high quality designer mount. This jeweler assured me he could make the adjustments and the ring would look exactly the same...my thoughts...no way...all the fine details that make this rings quality will be lost. Its really hard to find someone that knows anything about higher end jewelry unless they work for that specific high end jewelry company. Well boy was I wrong! He got the dimensions for my diamond, reconstructed the ring and it is PERFECT!!!! He updated me along the way and even finished it early to surprise me!! The customer service I received was like no other. He was so patient with my doubts and questions. Little did I know he was a genius with high end designer jewelry reconstruction. I actually feel silly now questioning him like he was an amateur and showing him pictures of something he was more familiar with than me. Customer service and skills like this do not exist anymore. If you have any jewelry needs please give them a chance to show you what kind of service you should be getting. You will never want to go anywhere else. I absolutely love them!! My ring is beautiful and no one knows I had any work done to it at all!!

He was very accommodating when discussing meeting times and always made sure to let me know that my business and my time were very important to him. I took a bunch of pictures of the ring that she loved, and went about searching for a smaller business to go about making my purchase. After doing some research of jewelry stores in the area, I ended up setting up a meeting with Sebastian. Though he did not have the exact type of ring that I was looking for, he was able to help me create the exact ring that she wanted by custom making it for me. I was able to show him the pictures, and he assured me that his in-house manufacturer could custom make it. He was also very good at helping me find a diamond that met the specifications that I had laid out, and got me something at a reasonable price that exceeded my expectations. He got a wax mold from his manufacturer of the ring we designed based on the original, and we were able to examine it and make tweaks before the OK was given to have it cast. From start to finish, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend going to Sebastian if you want a personal and flexible experience.

I didnt feel rushed, I felt like he was really invested into making my ring the best he could within my budget.If you are reading this and wondering should you visit him, yes you should. He doesnt have a store front, so the ambiance is different from the get go. You go into his office and can relax and tell him what you want and how he can make your vision happen. I feel buying from a store front would make me feel not at ease and it would feel more salesy. Thanks man, cant wait to come see you again for some more great gems !
