It was a simple and quick procedure of filling out a very short form to pick up a new recycling can, which are free, for my residence. My daughter also had previously purchased a trash can at $70 for her residence which we were picking up. John, who helped us was a very nice young man as well as professional. It is a convenient location, right off of Miramar Rd.

This is the place to go to get replacement garbage cans for San Diego. However, good luck trying to get rid of your old broken garbage can that you cant use anymore

From the moment I arrived today with my janky-@ss trashcan (that could barely stay together) to the moment I left (with a brand new trashcan and bonus recycle lid) the guys were amazing! The location is easy to find, and the place is clean and organized; plenty of parking and the workers outside are ready to assist anyone who arrives. The front crew is so welcoming, helped unload/load the items, and I loved their light-hearted positive attitude! I mentioned that my recycle bin lid was also broken and was kindly offered a replacement and was shown exactly how to attach it (which worked perfectly)! I managed to arrive home just as the garbage truck was going by, so I proudly showed the driver the new trashcan and got his happy smile of approval. YAY! 👍

Ok whoever is responsible for picking up trash on Ronda Avenue should be fired. He has skipped my house 3 different times this year alone. And dispatcher says driver drove by and container was still not out. The can has not moved since Thursday morning. The morning before pickup. Somebody is not doing their job. And when I make report to Get It Done San Diego I get the same excuse. How hard is trash collection? Not that difficult. So why cant you figure it out?

I thought the lady who took my call is Hana, but I read its Ana. Ms Ana is really good. I felt good also after the call. Very polite and helpful. I really wonder how much difference a good attitude based person sitting on the phone would make the customers feel happy about their experience.

My recycle bin was not dumped. The reason that I was given was that it was overflowing even though it was only half full. I tried to call the office 4 times and was hung up on each time I requested that someone be sent down to dump the bin.

Ordered two trashcans . Got the case number approved. Bring your checkbook . Pay by check . $70 dollars each for black trashcan. $0 dollar for each blue recycling can. If you need replace the trashcan lid, just bring the old one in and exchange for the new one, no charge.

We picked up additional recycle cans here for free.

If youre picking up a new trash can, do not go through the gate. Youre in the wrong place. Go right next door theres the address on the outside of the building. Small parking lot with about 25 parking spaces or so. theres a couple of guys waiting for you outside to help you load your new trash can

I cant even give them one star, the only reason I did was because it would not let me submit this without it...How is it that the city has picked up trash at my 95 year old grandmothers home for 49 years, but as of 01/13/2017 they do not service that address? But yet neighbors on either side of her, are at addresses that they do service? I have a trash can that clearly says City of San Diego on it with a serial number, but they dont service that address. Im sure at some point over the last 49 years you were paid for that trash can...but you dont service that address. Of course when I called, there were no supervisors/managers available, it was Friday afternoon (well before 5 pm), I should have known there would be no management available, come on its the city, how silly of me! No one at that office was even willing to send someone to collect the trash, even this once until we can get this sorted out, no one ever goes the extra mile or even takes accountability for anything customer related, even though this is clearly the citys fault, yet you expect and collect your money on the regular. And to answer your question...the trash was put out on Thursday evening as per usual for Friday morning pick up. This whole situation is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense.
