I am a local realtor in PB/La Jolla. I love using JunkMD because they are a local small business. They provide such great service to myself and my clients. They are reliable and always show up when they say they are going to. They have great means of communication between their office staff always answering, they send text updates for the scheduled job, and they email invoices which makes payment easy for my clients. Their crew is composed of efficient, hard working individuals!

I recommend JunkMD wholeheartedly. I have used their services twice, and in both cases they were professional, very knowledgeable, prompt, reasonably priced, courteous, and quick. All their team members have been very personable people who went out of their way to do the work I needed thoroughly and with a smile. If there were six stars, Id award them to JunkMD.

I hear great things about this company. Except that they dont seem to update their information, I have tried to get an edit made and unlink this company from address, since a past tenant who owns this company and Has not lived at this address in about five years, its not even zoned for a business anyway. But Also should deal with their unpaid bills. Cause if wanted to I’m sure it would effect ones credit.

We have use Junk MD 3 times. First to clear out unwanted furniture from my mother-in-laws house. Next they emptied 2 storage units that had not been visited for over 10 years. Finally they cleaned out my brothers condo of unwanted misc. household items in preparation of selling the condo. Junk MD was on time, they gave us an arrival window and communicated arrival time, and their services were worth every dime when compared to organizing the work myself.

Incredible! Right price — even cheap compared to some. Great guys, on time, communication was solid. Called them again the next day for more. Never thought getting rid of stuff could be so much fun.

I had about 20 glass shelves that needed removing. They came the very next day and carried them from the garage to the truck. I never could have hauled them to the dump myself and it was too heavy and large for the trash. Great value. Great service.

These guys are professional and courteous, but is really over priced. They wanted to charge me 250 for 10 minutes of work and disposing of a relatively few items. They kicked 50 bucks off, but left a bad taste. I used them because I was in a pinch and needed clean up asap. My recommendation is to just look on craigslist to find a guy with a truck and pay 50 bucks for a pick up.They also pestered me several times to leave a review.

We recently renovated our house and still had a bunch of construction, cardboard and old furniture to get rid of. They quoted me on the phone, came out that afternoon and picked up everything and then some. They packed it efficiently so no space was wasted. We were able to get rid of things that had sat around for years. They were polite, on time and hardworking. The service exceeded expectations because they took the time to do the job right.

I called JunkMD because my neighbor had used their service twice. I was glad I did. I had a 67 year old house closing escrow with a lot of old heavy junk in the backyard. I called one day ahead and they were available the next day. Dave and his assistant, Matt, did a fabulous job in about three hours. There was a picnic table, an old huge heavy desk, a metal shed with cement board flooring, piled lumber, wooden shelving, potted plants, cinder blocks, etc. Dave packed the entire dump truck to the brim like a specialist. I am always hesitant to hire junk removal companies. My fear is that they will dump illegally. Not Junk MD. They are above board. I called and had someone there within an hour. The biz model is great. They give you an estimate, you say yes or no, and if it is a no - they leave no questions asked. I liked the professionalism, the cleanliness of the truck and employees, and the can-do-it attitude. I hired them and they had the junk hauled away (including multiple 50lb blocks) within two hours. They even swept the leaves, dirt, and debris under the piles making it look good as new! Cant say enough. Great experience. Will definitely recommend them (already did to a neighbor) and will use them again.

I moved and the guy who was supposed to take my mattress bailed. I didnt want to leave my junk by the dumpster and was so exhausted that I just decided why not try this. Boy am I glad!!!!! These guys couldnt come the same day but it was the weekend and short notice so I understood. They did however come promptly the next day and they did so well. I was able to basically just take what I wanted to keep and they took the rest. The guy on the phone assured me that they would recycle what they could, donate what they could, and trash the rest. It was pretty expensive ($350 and it took an hour) but I am glad I didnt have to worry about completely emptying the place myself. They even cleaned out my fridge and drawers. I had a king size mattress, box spring, bed frame, an entry table, boxes of trash, some bags of donation clothes, old books, old electronics and it was a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment. I wouldve been happier if it were like $250...especially because I did tip them well on top of the $350 but I am glad that whole thing is over and it saved me time and the cost of the bulk tylenol needed to finish that move out. lol

Junk MD was so responsive and professional! They came out same day and hauled out our broken Treadmill. They had to take it out in pieces, since it wouldn’t fit out the door. I was so glad I called them. I was happy they’d recycle what they could! I would definitely recommend!
