A very wide array of fly tieing materials and pre-made flys. The store is nice and clean and the staff are tentative to guests. A good array or rods and reels for both beginners and professionals. That store feels small and homey but large and vast at the same time which is very nice, definitely recommending this place to other up and coming fly anglers I happen to encounter👍🏻

This is a good place to go if you want to get started in fly fishing. I needed a new rod because the one I had presupposed I had more ability than I do. He carried a good stock of beginners rods at very reasonable prices. He also has all the rest of the stuff you need. It’s good quality at a reasonable price.Given some of the attitude you get at some other shops, he’s a breath of fresh air, and he didn’t talk down to my wife who actually knows a lot about fly fishing. We’ll be going back.

I normally dont write reviews but I just had to say what an amazing store this is. Ive been to the store in person and also purchased items online for shipment. The guys working there are super chill but extremely knowledgeable. The shipping is lightning fast, my package arrived within 2 days from when I ordered it (but I only live 30 miles away). And the flies are top notch, tied really well and very cost effective. My new go to shop for all my fly fishing needs. The entrance is a little strange but just walk on in, you will not be disappointed.

Been doing business with these folks for a number of years. One of the best fly selections around. Theyre responsive and knowledgeable regarding the items on their website and have been willing to offer alternatives, or point me to the page that has what Im looking to purchase. Almost without exception, their flies stand up to the fresh water assaults from pickerel, largemouth, pans and trout that occur on my daily fishing expeditions. Of course, Ill be spending more of my hard-earned money with them!

Kory put together a selection of saltwater flies for an upcoming Christmas Island trip. It included leaders, tippet and spools of heavy duty mono and fluoro. I wont need anything else. Best part was the price, unbeatable. Oh yeah, all the flies in high quality saltwater boxes.

Buying at the flystop was a great experience! I dont know much about fly fishing and needed to get some gear for my S/O for Valentines Day. The guys here were extremely helpful and courteous. Im sure my boyfriend will be shopping here once he finds out about this place.

Heading to imperial beach to fish for surf perch and decided to stop at a Fly shop on our way there to grab some sinking line. And wow those guys are great they gave us advice and put our line on for us. I highly recommend those guys.

Love this place! The gentleman that helped me was great and has been both times I have been in. Last time he drew me a complete diagram on how to set up a European Nymphing rig, and took the time to explain how to set it up. Great place, check it out!

Cozy and nostalgic fly shop with a great selection of flies at INSANELY cheap prices - about half of what they are at other local shops. For me its cheaper to get certain patterns here than tie them myself. Great local advice and solid gear selection, too.

This shop will not make good on their products!! I bought an expensive fly rod that they personally recommended that snapped in two pieces the first time I used it and the fishing day was ruined.I called and asked that they make good on their product and recommendation.They REFUSED! They said it was my problem.

I ordered a few dozen flies from here awhile back. They will not be getting my business again. While some of the flies were okay quality, some of them came untied in my fly box. They were that bad. The knot on many of them would just slide down the hook shank.
