Scheduled an appointment a week out for them to come to my house on a Monday, 2 hours before the appointment I received a text from Marco saying they couldnt make it and wanted to move it to the next day. I rescheduled for Friday, the day before the new appointment late in the afternoon I received a text from Marco asking for pictures of the area of my concern. I could not provide picture but did provide a detailed description of the area. Friday morning, one hour before the appointment window I receive a quote from Marco for $3,500 for removal, fans for drying, and absorbent without even looking at the the area. I replied back that the area is not wet and asked what type of absorbent is used; 15 minutes before the appointment window I received a call from Shari asking to again reschedule. Although Shari is very nice and very professional; the fact that appointments cannot be met and quotes are made without looking at the problem area is extremely unprofessional. No consideration for my time; I had to take time off from work for both appointments; not the way I want use my vacation time. I would not recommend this company.

If for any reason you are looking for a company to restore or upgrade your home, DO NOT go with Same Day Restoration unless you want your life to be a nightmare during & after restoration. 4 and 1/2 months after my house was flooded I was left with work that is not finished & work that is just a mess according to any other company that Ive talked to to try and fix things.  My kitchen was left undone & at this moment Im trying to figure out what to do with my staircase that was left without stair nose moldings on each step.They will make promises to you to persuade you into hiring them but in the end you will receive an additional bill for those promises even after agreeing to a certain amount. Your house will not be a priority as they will send one worker about 3 days a week, the work itself will not be very professional (ex. we were left with a four inch piece of our counter-top missing because contractor measurements were inaccurate), cabinets will not be installed right & left with gaps inbetween them, they will not care to hurry and finish the work and will make your life inconvenient just like they didnt care that we had no sink and were washing dishes outside for about one and a half weeks through Christmas. There will also be no communication between the project manager and contractor, so the project manager will have no idea what is happening at your house and will never even take the time to go see.  Best of all, like in our case, the project manager will get fired & whatever you agree to with them will all of a sudden be invalid to the new management who will send you a bill and will pretend to not know about promises made by the previous guy in charge.

I cant say enough good things about Same Day Restoration. We had a Restoration in our newly remodeled dining room. Same Day was right on top of it! They are always on time, very polite and know how to work with your insurance company to make sure your claim Gets paid. This is a five star family business I would highly recommend!

We used Same Day when our vacation home flooded after a heavy rain. The technician, James, was very sweet and helpful as was Emma who did the scheduling. Besides that our overall experience was very negative. Initially we agreed to have them do the mold treatment and reconstruction.They literally demolished our bedroom and master bath down to the studs. When insurance denied the claim we didn’t have the $28,000+ Same Day wanted so we had to settle on just paying for the mitigation and not using them for the repairs. We had 2 friends, with a combined 70+ years experience in construction, tell us the extent of the demolition wasn’t necessary and that it seemed they did more than they needed to so they could charge us more.On the itemized bill there were charges for things they didn’t do and crazy charges for things they did. When we talked to Dan he was rude, extremely hostile, and never once apologized. He actually tried to blame us for the phony charges.We don’t understand all the great reviews on google and even wonder if it’s under new ownership. If we could do it again we would not use Same Day and we would never recommend them.

Ben and his team are the best most responsive restoration guys out there. I originally made some calls to other companies and either they didnt pickup the phone or couldnt get some to come out right away to handle the flood damage. Same Day Water Damage & Sewage Cleanup came right out within an hour and were very professional about not damaging other part of the house and also covering their shoes with plastic boot covers. Its never fun to deal with flood damage and they made things come back to normal within the shortest time possible. Had a great experience with Miguel and his crew! Our 40 gallon fish tank leaked its contents straight into the floor and I immediately got some large dehumidifiers to start the drying progress. We found Same Day Restoration & Carpet Cleaning a few days later and they promptly scheduled an inspection. They performed some checks and eventually told me that nothing more needed to be done. Marco was great for our mold remediation. We had just purchased a home and there was massive mold in the utility closet. He came quickly and spent extra time removing layers of infested drywall. I had a great experience with Jason in what was a very stressful situation. I am sure this is always the case with a mold remediation, but he and his guys were courteous, professional and patient in dealing with our condo, the inspectors, and a number of other difficult variables. I explained my situation over the phone and they told me my problem was with an unsealed basement and I just have to seal my basement. Damage to your home from a flood or any disaster is stressful. Pacy, Eyal, Saul, and all the guys over at Same Day Restoration took away all of that stress and did an absolutely impressive job of restoring my kitchen/living/dining room even better than how it was before. A pipe busted in my kitchen and damaged some of my flooring and part of the island table. My home insurance covered most of the cost and said that it would probably take 4-6 months to restore. But Same Day was able to restore my place in just 3 short weeks! Nevertheless, it was the quality of work from Same Day Restoration that really impressed me. Same Day laid some brand new beautiful flooring that we were able to choose from the dozens of samples they were able to bring to the house. They built my island table better than how it was before. Added some new floor molding and rolled on some new paint and now the house looks great!I searched and researched again on about 6 different contractors and Same Day won me over because of their quick and reliable response to phone calls, texts, emails, and appointments. All the staff is very nice, respectful, fun, and most of all, trustworthy. Excellent service by Phil and Calvin. Friendly, informative, and professional. They did a fabulous job on my very dirty and pet stained light colored carpet. Though a couple stubborn spots popped back up the day after, Phil and Calvin returned that day and super treated the areas. No spots, no smell, and I am very happy the carpets where dry in just a few hours. I will absolutely use Same Day Restoration and Cleaning again and hope to see Phil and Calvin work their magic on the rest of my house!

Cant say enough good things about Same Day Restoration. My water leak was discovered right at about midnight April 1st. Mind you, thats Easter for a lot of people. Contacted them to explain my drywall was incredibly wet and theres a leak somewhere. They (Fabian and Nick) were out in under an hour, cut out the drywall, discovered the source of the leak and made sure no more water was coming out. By the time they were done hauling away drywall and setting up drying equipment, it was 4am.Same morning at 7:30 am, Fabian was back at my house to further assess extent of the damage. Plumber arrived, replaced pipe with pinhole leak and the rest was history. The restoration work of drywall, texture and paint were all done via Same Day and couldnt be happier with the quality of work from A-Z including communication with insurance and making sure everybody was on the same page.Hopefully I dont have to go through this process again or at least for a while but if I have to, Same Day will be my first call.

Mike from same day was the project manager on my home after we had a small water and mold issue. The ice line behind my fridge was apparently leaking for awhile and I only noticed it after I found some water seeping out from under my kitchen cabinet.The water was standing for awhile and caused mold to grow up the drywall behind my sink and fridge.Im only leaving a 4 star because they Told me the job would take 3-5 days but it took closer to 7. I own a vacation rental company here in La Jolla. We have weekly turnovers of our units, and they are sometimes in the need of carpet and tile cleaning. This is where same day came in. For the last few years weve been using them and have been very satisfied.Recently i was in escrow for a new house. We had a home inspector go over the property and he found what seemed to be an on going leak, though it was small, over time it caused considerable damage. This if the first time Ive left a Google review, but these guys definitely deserved it. I had my handyman over to fix my dishwasher that was acting up. When he pulled it out he found a small on going leak that caused the drywal behind it and the nearby cabinets to mold (which would explain the mildew smell in my kitchen ). He advised i call a restoration contractor to take care of it. I was a bit hesitant at first so i took to yelp and found same day restoration who had amazing reviews!Their office manager keri was very pleasant and always kept me updated and in the loop on what was going on. This is the first time and hopefully the last, but Im glad i found these guys to take care if it.

These guys did a great job on my kitchen mold remediation which turned into a whole kitchen remodeling project. We had water damage under our sink in the kitchen. The mold went beneath all the kitchen cabinets. The wood flooring was water damaged as well. They met with my insurance company, and they were able to get the claim approved. Luckily for me as I couldn’t afford to pay for this now.They removed all the water damaged cabinets that the flood damage caused. They had barriers up the whole time during the mold remediation portion.Our initial project manager Pacy Woonteiler and owner Of Same Day restoration was phenomenal. The project manager for the restoration and remodeling project was Eyal Yaakov. Eyal was able to complete the whole kitchen project in 3 weeks, new kitchen cabinets, new quartz countertops, new wood flooring, etc etc.If your having a water damage or mold problem same day is the team to hire.
